I am so thankful I worked with Elias & Mayra at Mypad Realty. Me and my wife started looking for a…read morehouse in the beginning of July 2021 with another real estate agent for about 3 months. During those two months we rarely saw saw any houses in person since our real estate agent was not making us a priority. With the housing market being so hot we thought it was just the way things were. When we met Elias & Mayra in October of 2021 everything changed. We had a sit down with Elias & Mayra to discuss what we were looking for and what kind of lifestyle we envisioned ourselves living in order for him to look for houses for us. As first time home buyers we were pretty uninformed as to what we needed in order to become homeowners. Luckily Elias & Mayra were able to provide guidance and even recommend some financial institutions for us to apply for a mortgage loan so that we could be actively submitting offers to houses that we liked. During our sit down we told him what areas we were interested in living in, and also what values mattered to us in regards to schools, safety, kids, etc... After our sit down the very next day Elias & Mayra sent over available listings so that we can setup viewing times during the week/weekend in order to begin our adventure of buying a home. It took us only a couple of weeks before Elias & Mayra found us our forever home. We saw so many houses because the housing market was so hot that everyone was overbidding on the listed value of each home, but Elias found a house in the city of Buena Park, CA. I remember that day he presented us the house, and he spoke to the realtor selling the house and got us to see it the same day. We fell in love with the house immediately. Elias was able to work with the realtor and lock in the price and get us credits back on the house. Not only that he was able to assist in recommending places for the inspection and anything else that was needed. I will forever be thankful for Elias & Mayra and their dedication to helping us find our first home. Me and my wife will be starting our family here and if we ever decide to move again I will definitely be reaching out to them. Pros: Constant Communication Years of Experience in the housing market Guided us through the home buying process Flexible - Worked around our busy schedule Thanks again Mypad Realty!!

Refiloe came and appraised our rental, helping us set a good rental price, and ended up getting us a tenant in less than 2 weeks from listing! Additionally, I have found Keren to be helpful and responsive, promptly addressing my questions and concerns. I've only been with Earnest for 2 months, but so far no complaints on my end.

Based on my immediate experiences, I have not had a great experience moving in with Earnest Homes…read more I TRULY hope that the experience improves going forward, if it does I will update my review accordingly. But for now, this is my honest experience in case its helpful for anyone else who is planning to rent with Earnest Homes. First, I'll say that working with Donna Cura has been great. She's extremely professional, and has been incredibly attentive at answering my questions around lease documentation. Thank you Donna for making the lease process go extremely smoothly. My concerns so far are with the move-in experience. Move in day is supposed to be exciting - you've just made a big commitment to sign a lease, put a deposit / pay first months rent, and have gone through the process of setting up all your paperwork and utilities. Come move-in day I thought I would be receiving SOME level of PROACTIVE communication / outreach about move-in day logistics and a walkthrough of the house. Instead, my move-in experience was the opposite. It felt like after I signed the documents my move-in process was an afterthought. I scheduled a walkthrough around 12:30 PM on a Friday, and was met by Oneda, who was really only there to conduct an inspection of the house. She didn't know how the house was set up or have any instructions for me on how to use the things in the house. I'll go into detail around what went wrong. To be fair, Oneda did a great job going through the inspection and was very thorough and objective at documenting the different issues (e.g., cracks in the tiling, stains, scratches, etc.) Now, where the experience went downhill for me. When we entered into the home, there were a HOST Of things that did not go right: 1) There were three electric outlets that had not been completed prior to move in, they had no covers on them. It looked as if the team had painted but forgotten to put the covers back on. 2) There was a lot of grime and dirt on the bathroom faucets. It didn't seem like they did a thorough cleaning prior to us moving in. 3) Oneda did not have any idea on how to navigate the things in the house, for instance, there were electric blinds that were down and she had no idea how to open them. I randomly figured it out by pressing a button on a remote nearby. Not a good look for someone who is supposed to be showing ME around the house. 4) The previous owner left their front door security camera system + a nest security system(?) I'm not even sure what it is because no one explained / has explained to me what it is for. At the moment, I'm not sure if its the previous owner using it to spy on us or not, because I have been provided literally zero information on it. 5) I have no hot water at the moment. I did my part to set up SoCal Gas, but I was again not given any information on move-in day on how to turn on the water heater. I was not even told where it was located, I went to the backyard to find it, and once I located it I had no idea on how to turn on it / determine if its even working. I followed the instructions / watched a youtube video in hopes of trying to turn it on to no avail. 6) Now, the one that really started the negative impression of the move-in experience - I was not given the front door access codes until 4:47 PM, despite my walkthrough being at 12:30 PM. And the ONLY reason I received them was BECAUSE I HAD to follow up and ask for them! I sent an email at 1:40PM, which did not get a response. I then called the number around 4:07 PM to follow up and thank god for Brian, because he followed up with my account manager, Keren Mendoza, (who I believe is supposed to be responsible for onboarding us) and I then received a response from Keren on how to unlock the front door code at 4:47 PM. That is absolutely ridiculous. She did not include ANY other information required like how to turn on the water heater, or use the electric blinds, or security system. I'm still hopeful that this experience can be turned around, but I will wait until I get a response from the team to provide an update.

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE RENTING THIS PLACE!!!Another terrible experience with the manager and upper…read moremanagement regarding the extreme charges on the deposit check. It was fine to live at this premise but leaving the place was a huge headache. First of all, the management did not arrange any pre and post walk through with me as a tenant which is against the Ca law. I had to return the keys to the leasing office which is also the manager's home since no one had showed up for making the walk thru and explain the possible charges they may have. When I returned the keys the husband of the manager, he told me that his wife (manager) was not home so they will contact me to do the post walk thru which has never happened. In addition to not be able to get communicated by the manager to inform me the possible items they would excessively charge us, I was super shocked to receive the $1350 of charges for paint, bulb replacement, shampoo cleaning, etc... in the statement. When I brought the violation of tenant rights in terms of the official walk through and concerns for the extreme charges to the manager, the supervisor of the on-site manager Doron from the managing company Alon Global contacted me. I was hoping that we could get some resolution with him but it was completely an opposite experience. He was very unprofessional by saying that "What do you want?". When I told him you violated my rights with not doing walk thru he defended himself that they do not have to do it. When I told him by law you have to do it in person and failed on that he said it was not my fault. I explained to him that it is your manager's fault which would carry out to the upper management since you are in charge of the operation. He was saying that they charged me $700 for painting because there was a hole on the wall which was normal wear & tear. Also I had lived there long enough (3.5 years) where by law they can not charge the tenant for paint. Anyway, I just realized that we could not make any progress with him, since he was very argumentative and rude on the phone, I informed him that I will take a legal action on the small claim court. Again the long story short, the place looks good but the way how the management team handles operation is super unprofessional and not tenant/customer friendly. I was the tenant who paid all the rents on time but this is how we get treated. As an evidence you can see the deposit statement below and think twice before renting if you don't want to experience the same situation, stay away from this place as there are more complaints from former tenants in the comments here...

The actual place is great but when you leave they are super unprofessional. It has been about 8…read moremonths since I left and I have yet to receive my deposit back. There have been a lot of miscommunications on their part, they told me only to pay for 8 days of July (since I left on July 8th) but they are forcing to pay for the full month. They never contacted me to settle this at all, instead, they sent me to collections over a total of $388 when they actually owe me almost $1000 from the deposit ($1650 - paint, carpet cleaning, etc). I am not one to owe anyone money, I have an 800+ credit score, I have a job, and I had paid every rent payment on time. I am now in a situation where if I pay, I admit fault for collections and it will go on my record or I get it resolved with Alon Global (the company that owns and manages Casitas). If I don't pay it could affect my credit score. Like I said before, the living situation was great, but the aftermath of living there and trying to get my deposit back has been a huge headache. I strongly recommend considering this place if you care at all about getting your deposit back and maintaining a good credit score. At this point, I am regretting living there. To management, the ones that won't call me directly, I will happily remove this review if you guys would show me a little more respect and give me a call. I've tried to call to speak with you many times and for some reason you won't give me a call back. Hopefully this gets your attention.
