We have gone through several property managers assigned to our community, making it difficult to achieve continuity or accountability. Communication is poor, follow-through is worse, and even straightforward maintenance issues can drag on for months. In my case, a health and safety issue involving rodent droppings in my attic remains unresolved after over 4 months, despite dozens of emails, involvement of multiple vendors, conflicting information about which company had been selected to perform the work, multiple canceled appointments, and repeated scheduling failures. This has taken an inordinate amount of my time, with no resolution in sight. Perhaps most concerning, management claimed that I had refused to allow the work to proceed -- a statement directly contradicted by the documented sequence of events. A competent property management company should communicate clearly, coordinate effectively with vendors, take responsibility when mistakes occur, and provide accurate information to both homeowners and the Board. Unfortunately, it has not been my experience with Higher Ground.

Worst part is if you call the office, they act like they don't know anything and act like there are so many departments in that tiny office.
