Fantastic leasing team! I lived in one of their properties for a little over 3 years, and I cannot recommend Saturn Management (apartments4la.com) enough. I just moved out last month and they were super flexible and accommodating on my exit schedule, allowing me a couple extra days to get moved out when things didn't go according to plan. Every interaction with them was super smooth and they were always easy to work with. Super responsive to maintenance requests, once I had a small leak spring up at like 11 o'clock at night and within 10 minutes they had someone there to fix it. Their on staff maintenance team is super reliable and friendly too. I can't express my gratitude enough, I would give 6 stars if I could. **Updating my review to include more details about my positive experience with Saturn Management. The apartment complex that I lived in was very pet friendly and what was even better was that they did not charge us extra monthly rent for our dog. Now that they're processing our move-out, I was just reminded that they were gracious enough to accept my rent application even when I did not have proof of income at the time. They were very accommodating with allowing me to put down a larger security deposit, then crediting a portion of it after I was finally able to provide proof of income. If you're looking for a pet-friendly place to rent, with a building that is maintained regularly, and a responsive property management company, then you should head over to Apartments4LA.com to check out their vacancies.** We stayed at one of the units managed by Saturn Management/Apartments4LA for about 5 years. David and Paul were pretty responsive and they addressed issues or maintenance requests that we would put in. For example, when we found dead roaches in the unit, they had ours fumigated, patched any cracks, and installed door weatherproofing. We also had our bathroom heater die out and they replaced it with a brand new one. The tenant portal that they use is also pretty convenient. You can use the portal to pay rent, request for maintenance and be able to track it, and even when we had to finally move out, you can conveniently use the portal to put in your notice. read more

Washers & dryers are constantly broken and rarely fixed. Cockroaches in the building for several years now. Mold is visible on the building's walls. Rarely are any tenant service needs taken seriously (unless, there is a plumbing or water leak issue). read more

I used to live at one of their locations and moved for a job out of state. I let them know ahead of time, but never received any type of response. My roommate always had better luck getting responses from them which was really frustrating and totally uncalled for. I was a good tenant that always paid in a timely manner (usually ahead of the deadline) and hardly ever complained even though it would take them a month for any repairs needed to the property. Now, I have heard NOTHING from Saturn Management and David in regards to the security deposit. I've sent emails, left voicemails, consistently called and being totally ghosted. Had I known it would be like pulling teeth, I would've considered staying elsewhere. Avoid these properties at all costs if you can. It's not worth the trouble. read more

Poor Management. While I was grateful to have a steal of a property with this management company. Their effort behind upkeep and responding to maintenance issues is horrendous. They either don't respond to emails/ calls or when they do , don't follow up on promises to address issues. It takes months to get an issue resolved . Before covid the building on 945 Beacon avenue was barely ok to live in. After covid the amont of homeless people made one of my "favorite" games to play where it is impossible to walk on the sidewalks without stepping on huge dog or human shit. Feel free to guess. Also the building does not have any parking which makes the street park extremely competitive in that area. Not to mention that on the 4th floor lives a deplorable family of at least 5 people (that I counted) living in 2 studios and they keep moving their 3 cars they have in front of the building itself just because there are no meters to feed like on the other side of the street. They do that like the spots are assigned for them exclusively and no one else. Me and other units had cases of bed bug that creeps up from one studio to the other because of the cracks since it's an old building and the finishings are not the best. Also every other week before I finally moved out there was some issue with the pipes and out of the blue we the tenants would get a text saying due to an emergency the water was going to be shut off and would resume as soon as it was fixed. The laundry facility was a joke. The 3 washing mashines for the more than 30 units were broken and no matter how many times I'd call the offices to complain the guy would always have an excuse ready to give. "The maintenance will take a look." "I just came back from vacation. I was not aware of that." "The guys are looking for the pieces to replace it." Glad I didn't get to rent with these guys. Michael showed the properties, was thorough. But doesn't follow up! Left multiple messages with these folks but David, Paul, & Michael don't have the courtesy to respond to emails, calls, messages. Regular people flake on you in LA, but even property managers flake on you in LA! Maybe they're racist, maybe they don't have professionalism. From the moment, I had my first encounter with Mr. Michael for the apartment viewing I knew renting from Saturn Management would be my home away from home. I absolutely loved living here. The community was peaceful and family oriented. Neighbors were friendly and nice. I was amazed at how packages never disappeared. A package could sit by the mailbox for days and was never stolen. There was a cleaning lady who kept the grounds immaculate. My apartment was in good condition with beautiful French doors and a nice balcony view. The one maintenance request I submitted was answered very promptly (I did not know how to turn on a gas heater). Having my own assigned parking in a gated community was a perk. Mr. Michael with Saturn Management is so understanding, honest and trustworthy. He empathizes with all of his tenants (one of my neighbors who has lived on the property for at least 16 years raves highly of Mr. Michael). Coming from a small rural town to a big city such as Los Angeles I had questions before relocating which I liked the fact that if you needed to discuss anything with the management team they are approachable and available. If you clean your apartment and leave it in the condition you received it or better you receive your security deposit back and if you overpay (in my case getting accustomed to online payments and unfortunate circumstances) they are so honest they will refund your overpayment. It cannot get any better than that. I have family and friends who live in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas and even they are amazed at how I found this gem. A Blessing! If I am ever back in the Los Angeles area to work, I will most definitely rent from Saturn Management again. Even when travel nursing, I have never come across a wonderful company such as Saturn Management. This is the most honest, dependable and professional company I have ever dealt with. I rented a unit on Mentone Ave. in Palms for two years from Saturn Management. I had a great experience from start to finish. As someone who is used to leasing contracts that are dozen of pages long, having a short, concise contract to review and sign was awesome. Following a 12-month lease, I was rolled over to a month-to-month lease requiring 30 days notice of leaving. Simple. The unit itself was spacious for the price. Great hardwood floors and natural light. Some of the appliances were brand new too. Walls are on the thin side; I lucked out as my neighbors were pretty cognizant of the time of day so noise at night wasn't an issue. What really made my experience great is the management team- David and Michael were awesome. When I requested a new spot in the parking garage following a couple of new vacancies, they accommodated my request. The few of times I needed maintenance - kitchen sink and backdoor issues (nothing out of the norm) - Roman came that day to fix the issue. Best management team ever. Beware! These people are horrid especially David the scammer. They will charge, over charge and nickel and dime you for every little thing when you leave. I almost sued them but it wasn't worth my time because they're cheap as hell! In addition to being horrible cheap people- they don't take care of their tenants or buildings. I had a great experience living in the Beacon apartments. There were issues with various things and when I requested help Michael was always very attentive and courteous. I loved my little apartment. The dressing room was probably the greatest I'll ever have in life with the little desk and mirror. Fantastic place for the buck only problem is noooooo parking. read more

Saturn Management helped find me a great 1 bedroom apartment in the Palms area of West LA. The unit was a spacious, ground floor unit with recessed lighting throughout. After a 1 year lease they roll you over to a month-to-month lease for no extra charge. Using their online portal I was able to make easy rent payments and maintenance requests. If you like an apartment that has mold problem along with homeless and drug issues than this is not a bad place. The landlord never addressed any of my complaints for issues. There is just too many better places to rent in the neighborhood to waste your time here. Also the constant smell of smoke affected my asthma. read more

I lived in Cattaragus ave for 2 years The place it's super quiet and it's a lot of parking out side plus privet parking that they give you It's a cleaning lady every 2-3 weeks that come and clean the complex the complex always clean!!! Always someone come to clean the pool If you have any issues you can talk with the menager and they come to help me in midnight I had clogged toilet they come It's a camera all over the complex so no one can come inside to steal anything I moved only because I found bigger apartment and they didn't have anything available in the time I moved Never had any issues And I know few neighbors and they happy too They worth 5 starts !!!!! read more

From the moment I met him to view the property for the first time, I knew it was the place for me. Both Michael and David are extremely responsive all hours of the day or night. Despite managing many properties, they are polite, honest, caring, and cater to your every need. They ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner and ensure that maintenance requests are responded to. I recently had a scary encounter with Michael. Keep in mind that this is the first and only time I have met this man in person. His was not the woman who leased me the apartment. I was waiting for the elevator to go to my doctors appointment, when a large man exits the elevator and calls my name. He introduces himself as Michael, "the man who leased [me] my apartment". Unless he had sex reassignment surgery (I don't know the man so I can't say this isn't true) he was not the person that gave me my keys when I signed my lease. Anyway, he asked me to let him into my apartment. I told him I was running late for an appointment and could not at this time. He proceeded to raise his voice and asked me to let him in. Again I responded that I had to leave now to get to my appointment. Visibility upset he demanded I let him in as he stepped closer to me. I was so scared, so I unlocked the door and let him in. I've already had my car broken into while it was parked in the locked gated garage. To which Michael responded to by saying that he wasn't surprised and the only way for me to not have my car or apartment broken into is to move out of the city like he did. read more

As a woman who lived here alone for a year, I always felt safe knowing they were present at the property daily throughout the work week. This was very important for me upon move-in. My experience over 3 years with Saturn Management was second to none. They really take to heart the people they work with and place families and individuals accordingly. I was lucky that in my transition of apartments I was able to stay with Saturn Management, they got me out of my current apartment at the time and into a new one within a day or so, which was truly amazing. They allow for flexibility and provide comfort and ease to all tenants. They take care of any issues that may arise immediately. They are fully transparent and provide support instead of demands.
