I called to look at a place and I arrive 15 minutes earlier and right when I get there they say the place had an application... she assured me that they would send me an application right after I left so I could be first in line in case it didn't work out. With the market being hot I wanted to act quick... I left around 12:25 and emailed them asking me for an application. I heard nothing for another 30 minutes so I emailed some one else... another 30 minutes and I called so I left a voicemail... an hour goes by and I call another number that was associated with the group and they send me a text of " sorry can't talk right now" I reply could you send me an application to the place I was looking at. Another hour passes and I ask them if they could send the application so I could be first in line in which he finally replied.... "Hi you're actually 4th in line" After waiting over 2.5 hours for a reply or response or email or anything.... I reply "Well I feel like I would have been second if I got the application when I asked " And they had the audacity to tell me "having an attitude like that doesn't help" Excuse me..... who trained these people?! Not only were they terribly unresponsive but they had the audacity to check my attitude after i was chasing them all day. Ridiculous... Where do I start... I had been living in one of their properties for over 5 years in Koreatown. Several property management companies had managed during that half decade, but never have I thought I would be so grateful for a management company that I needed to leave a review! It's just the on-site manager (Josh) is soooooo incredibly great, understanding and responsible for any maintenance request, or management related requests. He is very passionate with his work and does above and beyond to make tenants life so much easier! I for sure always thought any management companies would be the same, but living in their property made me change my perspective. Parking garage kept open at night - on the same night you will see a technician working Had unsecured activity - change locks and gate codes right away and inform the tenants And again, Josh would be there to ensure all the communications with tenants, so you are never left out. They know how to secure their own properties and give as best quality as they can. Even though the whole areas in Koreatown became more unsafe ever since Covid, they literally did everything they can so I would feel even safer than before the covid (when the apartment was managed by another company). I sadly had to move out to a different county, but I wish my new apartment were managed by them too! I'm perplexed! Oh boy... After long time of deliberating and being scared of telling the truth I finally decided to share my horrifying experience with kig. They are managing my building and instead of feeling like home I feel like I live at some waste management facility (like poorly run one, with a lot of not recycled trash). This hoa is extremely cheap and unprofessional, they refuse to get situation with trash figured out. Containers they got are way smaller and doesn't fit all the trash, so when it's time to pick up our trash services take what's in these containers and throw the rest to the hallway! And that's only the begging! Because it's always dirty we've got cockroaches running around, with whiskers longer then line to Apple store at the day of new iPhone release! Oh yeah, and the smell! And there you have it - this is how I got PTSD! (Like imagine go thru trash and cockroaches at night with no light (because light bulb is burned and hasn't been replaced by management company for a while)). It's just sad how cheap and unresponsive they are. All you get is promisees to take care of basic services, but these promises don't get trash cleaned up! All this is very sad. My friends call my place "shelter" because you can only go there when there is literally nowhere else to go, and this has huge impact on my life (that's why my ex left me - she couldn't deal with lock at the front door that's always gets stuck). Please, go with literally anyone else - don't let this property management company with reckless behavior to go on with it's insolent conduct! It's unacceptable! I don't want to get personal on here, but I think it would be fair to community to know the name of the person who "runs" things in this management company - it's Jared.
