I love Color Me Mine, and this location is one of my favorites to go to! It does get really busy,…read moreso a reservation (or at least calling ahead to see if they can hold seats on the day of) is pretty much a must. The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. There's a cup of various styles and sizes of paintbrushes, and you can also request for a thin bottle for writing or detail-work. You get two hours to paint, but I've never felt rushed with either picking my piece or during the actual painting process. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. They have a great selection of pottery, and you just pay the price of your piece plus the flat studio fee. The space is clean, and I love that they also offer outdoor seating. Since it's right in the middle of downtown Brea, it's fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe outside on a warm day. They'll occasionally have special events or deals too, like student nights with a discounted studio fee. With its central location in downtown Brea, it's such a perfect spot to catch up with friends, celebrate a birthday, or have a cute date!

It is five dollars per person to book a table either inside or outside. $15 we used to reserve the table went towards our final order. the ladies that All helped us were absolutely fantastic! They were so sweet to my daughter and very helpful about giving advice on how to paint our pieces. It is definitely a little pricey for the experience. It is $10 per child and $12 per adult for the supplies and then of course the cost of whatever you choose to paint. We ended up spending about $85 for two pieces. my daughter absolutely loved the experience and really it was very fun for our little family. I definitely recommend to give this place a shot if you're into painting and especially if you have Littles, who are very creative.

Since Party City closed, the local Michael's is marketing heavily on party balloons. The Michael's have a wide variety of art, craft, yarn and part supplies, which makes it easy to find what I need in one trip. The store is usually organized, and items are mostly on in stock. I like coming here for holidays decoration, as well. The staff is generally nice when I've asked questions, especially when looking for specific materials. Prices can be a little high at times, but the coupons and sales make a big difference. Recently, the store offers self checkout which is nice when you're coming in for a couple items. Overall, Michaels is a convenient and dependable for simple decorations on holidays to bring cheers to the office or classroom settings.

I've used it twice and both times were HUGE disappointments!! The first time, it took forever for my order to be brought out to me. The second time, which was today, NO ONE came out to bring me my order. I waited well over 10 minutes and decided to go in and get my order. Once I entered the store, I saw my order of balloons floating in the front of the store and not one employee was near them or even attempted to bring them to me. I had to flag down an employee to let her know that I was waiting for my order, but no one brought it out to me. She did apologize. Do not offer a curbside pickup option until the employees know how to bring out an order in a timely manner.

Or you don't know? He says we usually don't get anymore of something if it sells out.. so I ask him you don't have a limit on bags you sell? He said no The guy buying the bag had 2 each of multiple bags totally a reseller.. The cashier guy not sure if he's the owner or manager he was rude and so clueless. He didn't even bother to check just kinda was standing there and the guy buying the bags was just staring at his phone knowing he's a jerk trying to make a buck! We were just going through the mall, and we noticed this place. I love sports memorabilia and my young son loves the typical action figures/POP's toys/collectible stuff. This place had a ton of both. I really enjoyed looking through all the autograph items - Kobe, Michael Jordan, Dodgers players, etc. I was told they are going to have actual players/celebrities do signings at the store. It's a really large space, it's clean, and they have tons of stuff to look at - not just limited to sports or toys. It has things for people of all ages - boys and girls. But what made this place different, was the friendly, helpful people that worked there. I really appreciated that level of customer service. It's always easy to order things online, but I enjoy seeing the toy before I buy it and talking with someone who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Highly recommended!
