Impression spa had done really a great job yesterday on my 1 year old son's hair cut, my wife's hair straightening and eyebrow threading. We are regular customer here and every time they treat us like their family. They are soo friendly. On weekend, they close salon by 5pm. But with no rush, they were doing hair straightening very patiently and they were working even after 7pm to give a perfect finish. Customer service is really good. Vicki and her team rocks . The people are friendly, but the quality of the nail job, acrylic or manicure, just isn't there. I went in with my niece on a Sunday. The place was quiet. I was getting a french manicure. Tammy was doing a pretty good job, but left in the middle of my manicure. Then Tina, a sweet older lady, took over but didn't do a good job on my french manicure; It was sloppy. My niece was getting acrylic nails done by Vicky, and although she was very nice, they were poorly done. Some of the tips were crooked and the design that she had her do, which was just a black line dividing the pink from the white and some gray glitter nail polish on the black outline, was also poorly done. They did give us a $5 discount which I gave back plus an extra $6 for all three of the ladies who worked on our nails. I don't usually complain to the establishment, I just stop going and look elsewhere. read more

This is by far the worst nail salon I've ever been to!!!! $25 for a pedicure that I could have given myself at home and done a better job. She left such a sloppy mess that I wasn't sure if she was trying to pain the nail or the side of my toe. I will never go here again and I strongly urge anyone who drives by this place to keep going! At Cherry Glen I can at least get a hot stone massage and paraffin wax for $25 - the same as the price of this poor excuse of a pedicure. If I had read the yelp reviews first, I would never have gone. Totally ruined what should have been a great experience. read more

I was generally disappointed in the experience last week. The staff was nice but the salon was messy (bags of things on the tables and floor, hair throughout the salon, etc.) We got manicures which were ok but not great. My daughter got cut on one finger and had bubbles on one of her fingers that had been painted. The part that upset us the most was that we called ahead to get a price for manicures but when they charged us, they said that we had to pay $2.00 extra per transaction if we wanted to use a debit card. Being an Indian with specific requirements I always had a challenge with my hair cut in US. I tried different Salons in US but never been so satisfied until I found Vicki. I called just 15 mins in advance to book an appointment. VICKI did my hair cut and she was just awesome.. I loved the new look in my hair. She also kept checking with me during the hair cut if the length was fine.. I am extremelyyy satisfied with my hair cut. . She also gave me a discount and did the styling for free. I go here regularly. Vicky is the owner, and she always very friendly and nice. I've seen her give a lot of haircuts- especially to guys and she does a good job. I think the price is right too. I go here to get my nails done by Lee. I like them done in a certain way (french pink and white fill) and she does a really good job. it always lasts a long time and it looks great. I've gone to many nail salons and and the vast majority of time , they project their style on you and don't do what you ask them to do. Lee listens, she's nice and she's a perfectionist. I've seen them diluting nail polish- but it's for a special reason. It's for painting detailed decorations on the nail. I just had my first fill that wasn't a pink and white in a very long time and the nailpolish was fine and help up well too. Going back to the pink and white today though! It's always difficult to go into a brand new salon because they don't know your preferences yet, but I think Nail Impression is worth a try! read more

ok i already gave them a review and yelp for some reason has filtered all the good reviews(whats up with that??) .i went last weekend to get my hair cut. after trying super cuts and master cuts for an insanly long line. i decided to go here cos i have been here before and liked it. it has been like 8 months since my last visit there but vicky remembered me and made me feel special! :) i got a great layering done and for 30$ with tips for wash cut and style , i feel its a great deal! vicky was patient and made sure i felt comfortable about the length she was taking off and gave me a great layer! i love this place . its a little far for me but for the price i'd definitely drive down! read more

I'm not even sure what the name of the lady was who did my nails, she did not introduce herself as most nail technicians do upon meeting a new client. But whoever she was, she absolutely did not follow health codes. She was doing a pedicure on another person, & without washing her hands began to do my nails. My fault for not asking her to wash her hands before contact with a new client, but I did not want to seem "rude" seeing that it was my first visit to their salon. I let it go but was then disappointed because after already waiting for one hour when they had said it would be 20 minutes, she kept getting up to do something else while doing my nails, which delayed the process even longer. After a few coworkers left, she became completely careless with her work. My nails came out different lengths, different shapes, & some are even lumpy. She painted my nails about as good as a 5 year old would- there are streaks & missing edges. She was to lazy to clean the excess nail polish so here it is still on the skin on top of my nails. I've never had such sloppy looking work done. Clearly she was in a rush to leave because she kept mentioning that they closed at 6, while it was now 7:30. However, I had gotten there at 5 & waited until 6 for her to start. I would have preferred them to tell me they were not able to see me instead of rushing to get a horrible job done. $35 down the drain. This place is dirty & sloppy & does not care about new customers. read more

From the first day I stepped in the door, I was greeted by the owner Vicky and to this day, she still greets me with a beautiful smile on her face. Horrible! I went there to color my hair and eyebrow and what they did was horrible. I am not sure if woman who did this had the license. one of my eyebrows became black the other one light brown, and she couldn't fix it. read more

I don't understand why all the good reviews are filtered out, which is wrong. I have been going to Vicky for over 10 years and she has always treated me like a queen. They always do a manicure and pedicure and they always look great. My granddaughter is treated very good by everyone and they give her a manicure whenever they are not busy. Another thing is that they always keep the pedicure tubs clean. After all that scare of people getting infections, I am very picky. I have seen them cleaning the tubs so I don't worry about getting my pedicure. My husband has been getting his haircut there for years and they always treat him good, too. He got his first pedicure because of callouses, and they were very gentle and careful and he was totally impressed with the experience and would definately do it again. read more

Went to this salon for a simple hair trim. The trim went okay and I was suggested to get it styled with curls as the owner felt it would give a new and more modern look to my existing style. I agreed to try it as the lady seemed really excited and confident about the results on my kind of hair. Things looked a-okay until the time she had curled one-third of my hair. My curls had already started opening at the ends. When I pointed out she asked the other lady to spray and set them. By that time the curls had already started to open and spray proved useless. She assured me she would fix it. By the time she curled all my hair the other half was already in waves instead of curls. She asked the other lady to set the curls again using another curling iron, but the heat of that iron literally ironed the remaining curls to waves too. I was ofcourse not happy. I expressed my dissappointment and asked them to give me some waiver on the regular amount they charged me for this service. I was refused. By the time I came home in another one hour my hair were not even close to wavy. It was a waste of lot of my hard earned money. Also on the ambience and experience front I would give it a one star as the staff keeps talking endlessly and loudly to each other in their native language while providing services. They would just not stop. It sounds very annoying, rude and disrespectful to the customer who spends money for some quality service at the salon. I have had much better experience at other salons. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. read more

This review is for the Owner of Impression Salon - other employees are awesome and I've had excellent experience for Hair Cuts for myself and 2 boys. Having been a customer for years, I went for a hair cut with my boys - including a toddler. After the owner started with my toddler, suddenly, 5 new customers showed up and she started hurrying up the cut on a 2 year old, pulling his hair and really carelessly using machine and scissors. I got scared and asked her to be careful with a 2 year old, and she still didn't care. Unfortunately - she cut the back skin of his hear and again nipped his neck with a scissor before I had to intervene and ask her to stop. She started shouting and blamed the 2 year old for moving his head - to which other waiting Customers interjected and left. She got agitated and started shouting on me for holding her responsible for a bleeding ear. She has a bad temperament, is un-skill full and is really dangerous for small kids - please be careful. It is a cheap hair cut - $8 - but certainly does not come cheap when it leaves bloody ears. read more

She started talking about me in her language. they spoke about how fat I am and it was very unprofessional. then the phone rang and the lady who was not working on me answered it and talked to whoever it was for a while then put the lady on speaker which I found very rude. She proceeded to talk to the lady on a very loud speaker while I tried to enjoy my pedi. Then a third lady who worked there came in which happened to be the lady on the speaker and she sat right next to me and loudly talked to the other two about.. you guessed it.. ME. then she rudely proceeded to tell me how she would remove a mole from my face. The lady did a good job on my feet with the exception that the massage was not nearly firm enough.
