Do not purchase a car from here under any circumstances--especially if you are a woman. They will…read moretake full advantage of you. I purchased a 2016 Ford Fusion from this dealership. I was told the car was in good condition, that he doesn't sell bad cars, and that the vehicle would be detailed and taken care of. I don't know much about cars, and maybe I should have brought a man with me--but as a business owner, I expected honesty. This was the worst car purchase of my life. I bought the car last February, and I have not been able to drive it for more than two weeks total since then. From the very beginning, there were problems. When I first reported the issue, he told me to pay him and he would fix it. I paid him. A week later, the same issue happened again. He told me to bring it back. He kept my car for over a month, claiming he was fixing it and that everything was covered under warranty. The day before--while I was in the hospital--he called and said I owed a large amount of money. I explained I didn't have the money. I had already lost my job because of this car and was dealing with heart problems. When I went the next day to get my car, he suddenly claimed I had a $1,000 balance, even though he previously told me everything was covered under warranty. I then found out I was never covered by a warranty at all. He refused to release my car unless I paid. I live over an hour away, had my three-year-old child with me, and had no transportation. He told me if I signed papers and paid $900, he would release the car that day. I had no choice. It became clear why he did this--nothing was ever fixed. On my way home, the car was smoking and leaking oil. He claimed it was because he "changed the oil." Shortly after, the car stalled and would not accelerate. I took it to a real mechanic. The repairs cost $2,500, and the mechanic showed me that the part he claimed to have replaced was actually the original part--no work had ever been done. A week later, the car wouldn't start again. This time, it was the transmission--another $2,500. I am a single mother of two. Because of this one purchase, I lost my job, my home, and everything. I am currently sleeping on a friend's couch as I write this. We even had to involve the police. Afterward, he bragged about being friends with them. This is bad business, plain and simple. I cannot believe someone could treat another human being--especially a woman and mother--this way. There are truly evil people in this world who only care about money. He is one of them. Please do not buy a car from him. Owner is a very dishonest person. I'm so mad that people like him ruin it for good shops out there and he kept bragging how his wife got a Mercedes and less than that so I still take advantage of people if you were living a good life what a shame.

He…read morehad a bad transmission and we would rebuild it but he would still hear this other noise that was not the transmission and we were not sure where THAT noise was coming from. Sure enough, after rebuilding his transmission perfectly, he came back complaining about the noise. we reminded him and had written on his invoice that he had another issue with that noise. He stood there and cried about the noise. we were in disbelief. I could not have explained it any clearer. I don't know at this point what more I could tell this person. so he went away crying and complaining on he internet and there is nothing we can do about this type of person. We stand behind our work and if it was the transmissio, which we ascertained it was not, we gladly would make it right. Our 48 years of excellent service is mostly by word of mouth. Ask your neighbors, friends, relatives and especially your mechanic who they recommend.

I chose this shop because of the many positive reviews and I wanted to support local business…read more However, I had a very disappointing experience. Lack of Transparency, Disrespectful and Unprofessional. That's all I have to say about Tao. I brought my car in for a simple job: Replace the AF sensor (B1S1) to pass emissions, complete the inspection, and check a loose bracket near the rear wheel. I clearly explained the order of work. However, the wrong sensor was ordered, and the emissions test was performed before replacing it - resulting in a failure that COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. I had to comeback for re-inspection after replacing the sensor (about 200 miles running). Instead of addressing my original concerns, I was presented with additional costly issues (axle, brake caliber, spark plugs). This was confusing, as I had recently passed a PA enhanced inspection at another shop, and none of these issues were mentioned. I also double checked my maintenance paperwork at Lexus Dealer, my spark plugs were replaced at around 142,000 miles (current mileage ~183,000), which is within their normal lifespan. The spark plugs will usually last for 80,000-100,000 miles. A second shop confirmed there was no issue with them - a full diagnostic were performed. Moreover, the loose bracket, which is the first thing I asked him repaired, was NEVER FIXED. I don't think he did even pay attention to it. Communication was poor throughout. Calls and emails were not returned, and updates were unclear. When I asked for clarification about the new findings, in-person, the response felt dismissive and unprofessional rather than helpful with: "I can't say anything about other shops doing", "Do you trust me?", "Do you want to do it or not?". For the re-inspection (even with an appointment), I had to wait about 2 hours. After reviewing other 1-star feedback, it appears this may be a pattern - customers come in for a simple service but are advised to complete additional, costly repairs without clear explanation. I understand businesses need to make money, but customers deserve transparency, proper communication, and respect. At minimum, the original concerns should be addressed clearly before introducing new issues. Overall, I felt pressured into unnecessary repairs without sufficient explanation. I would recommend BE CAREFUL and NOT FALLING ON low inspection prices or some "good" high/five start ratings.

Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and you could tell they actually enjoyed being there, which makes such a difference. Nobody made me feel rushed or talked down to, and as a truck girl... trust me, that matters. Caleb absolutely understood the assignment with my Tundra. He took care of my girl like she was royalty, explained everything clearly, and somehow made buying tires feel exciting. Now she's sitting taller on those Toyos and I keep catching myself staring back at her in parking lots like a proud parent. Honestly, the experience was so good I even walked out with a new friend. Another customer, Jim, was in there hyping up Discount Tire the whole time and raving about how good they've always treated him. Excellent service, great energy, and genuinely good people. Definitely recommend.

I came to Discount Tire for what should have been the simplest thing -- two tires replaced…read more Instead, it turned into an absolute disaster from start to finish. The associate first told me the two tires were $300 and charged me. Then he suggested replacing all four, but I told him no because the tires in the front were smaller than the tires in the back. So he told me that to "make it right," the two in the front should match the two in the back -- adding another $200 and bringing the total to about $500. I agreed and paid in full. Before anything was done, I asked a very basic question: Will one lug nut unlock both tires? The associate confidently told me yes. Over 30 minutes later, the mechanic finally came out and said the exact opposite -- that the lug nut wouldn't unlock the tire, that removing it could damage and strip the bolt, and that Discount Tire wouldn't be responsible if that happened. Obviously, I told them not to continue. Then the associate came back out and completely contradicted the mechanic, suddenly saying they could remove the tire and replace the lug nuts and everything would be fine. At this point, not only had I paid $500, but now I was being told two totally different stories about whether the job could even be done safely. When I asked for a refund, things only got worse: * I stood there for over 15 minutes being ignored by the team -- zero acknowledgment, zero urgency * Then I was told the refund could only be done by check and I needed to provide my address * After even more wasted time, they suddenly could refund to my card after all * The receipt I was finally handed didn't even match the situation -- it listed a rotation and rebalance, not the refund for the service they failed to perform In the end, I left with: * No tires installed * No real explanation * A wasted afternoon * And a receipt that doesn't reflect what actually happened This was an unbelievably unprofessional experience from start to finish. No communication, mixed information, no consistency between staff, no accountability, and zero respect for the customer's time or money. I walked in ready to pay and get the job done -- and instead I got confusion, delays, and complete incompetence.Discount Tire needs to seriously evaluate the way this location communicates both internally and with customers. No one should ever have to deal with this for something as simple as replacing tires.
