Does your shop install lowering springs if we brought them in? If so, how much would you charge to install on a 2013 Infiniti G37 sedan Journey keeping the same shocks and struts?

Without indicating there was ANY cost involved whatsoever, Front Desk Guy sweetly asked "would you like us to give it a once-over?" Which, since I was at that time a regular customer, I THOUGHT that meant just give it a safety-check out of courtesy to a repeat, publicly complimentary, senior-citizen client that they maybe cared for! How wrong I was. After having it several days, they tell me that they can't fix the original problem because they "Couldn't find the part - and wouldn't install an after-market part off of Ebay" (My car is a 1999 w/ low mileage) Then the real Clinker after 3 days: They call and say, "We couldn't fix your problem, but come and get your truck and pay Christian Bro's nearly $200 bucks for a "diagnostic" that I WAS NOT INFORMED UP FRONT would cost anything at all! But also, this 'Diagnostic' informs me that my truck needs OVER $4300 DOLLARS in servicings and repairs - Including NEW BRAKES that, apparently the "Diagnostic expert" wasn't aware had been replaced by them on that very truck a few months earlier! I felt totally taken advantage of and complained to the manager, John, who gave me some "yada yada" and stated that that particular employee working the front desk was fired - However, and this is the whole point of the story - This manager of this multi-million dollar, allegedly 'Christian', gold-mine on the corner of Thunderbird & 75th Ave would NOT refund all, or any part, of this deceitful charge with a humble apology for their unscrupulous employee (note: Failure to disclose a COST right up front is a LIE ) Not only that, but Upsell #1 opened the door for MEGA-UPSELL #2 of $4,319 dollars! I STILL look back at this lengthy report with shock and awe. According to this diagnostic that I didn't ask for, there's no reason, whatsoever, my truck is still able to roll down the street. According to them, practically EVERYTHING on my vehicle is on it's last couple of miles.; Lastly, and final insult to my patronage, my age, my intelligence, nor would Christian Brothers even offer a discount or a half-off on the next visit to them. You know, a way of saying, "We still want your business". I think they saw a senior-woman and saw a dumb sucker ready to be plucked out of the stream of suckers. In that lone experience, I learned Christian Brothers is all about "Show me the $ MONEY $" They are only after the money, and customer retention is completely moot. They could care LESS if you are a returning customer. I am no longer using Christian Brothers for any auto repair needs. If anyone knows of an HONEST, caring, competent auto mechanic around Peoria/Glendale please be so kind as to DM me. I'm shopping for one. **I tried to scan & copy the actual Invoice from this incident, but for some technological mystery beyond me - I couldn't get this file search in Yelp to access where I am sure I put the two files.**

If you want your car to sit idle for an extended period with zero progress, this is the place for you. Initially, I was told that we just needed a programmer to complete the transmission work, and that the job was finished. We waited two weeks for this so-called programmer, who never showed up. We later discovered that no work had even started on my car, which is why it remained unfinished. Attempts to communicate were equally frustrating. He would often ignore our calls, and whenever we arranged to meet him, he would mysteriously leave just before we arrived. His uncle, who works there, confirmed our experience, saying it was common for the owner to avoid clients and that he'd misinform them about progress on their vehicles. While we were left waiting for updates, we noticed several other unhappy customers coming by with the same complaints. Save yourself the headache and find a more reliable option!

Initially they thought it would only be a couple days, but after getting under the vehicle they realized it was completely rusted so they had to drill out the bolts and replace them. They called me immediately, explained what was going on, and gave me a revised time to pick it up, and still got it done ahead of schedule. They kept the price the same even though it was far more labor intensive than initially expected. They assisted in getting my vehicle towed there ASAP, kept me up to speed on the issues they found when they got the transmission taken apart, honored their initial quote which was FAR less than other transmission shops I looked at ($1800 out the door with RCA, other shops wanted $4k-$5k). No hidden fees, excellent communication, and they did an outstanding job making sure my vehicle was once again reliable for me, my wife, and kids. I cannot recommend them enough, and if you're having transmission issues, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not at least contacting them to see what they can do enough. I will exclusively be recommending RCA Transmissions to friends and family experiencing transmission issues, and have already sent their information to 2 friends who should be contacting them in the near future. Top tier service, transparency, communication, and workmanship. Thank you Steven and those at RCA Transmissions!!

A week later he said he fixed it. He asked me then if he could install it. I said yes. He installed it and it still leaked. He pulled it out and said he found the leak and Re-installed it and asked me to come. Car would not start. He handed me a broken oil filler tube and said it was broken. He was lying. I looked at engine. When they put starter back together, they crunched all the air hoses. They pulled off starter and re-positioned air hoses. Some hose got ruined. Another issue they put water in my anti-freeze tank. You don't put water in an antifreeze tank in a Porsche? He did not know how to release the pressure of air in anti-freeze tank and car overheated. I personally had to fix all these issues. Not only that the car still leaked fluid in transmission. George blamed it on the flywheel was bad. I asked him if he tightened bolts per Porsche specs. He said, "It does not Matter". I brought my Porsche after the fact to Porsche. They said tightening bolts to specs on Porsche Automatic Tiptronic Transmission flywheel is one of the most important things. If not, it will still leak. George Masked my issue and did not fix it. Now, I am stuck putting transmission fluid in my Porsche every 2 weeks because it leaks out!

Tony's 5 Star Transmission…read more I brought my parents' 2010 Toyota Highlander in for a transmission drain and fill at 90,000 miles. It's been over two months since the service, and I can say from personal experience that the vehicle runs noticeably better. The gears shift smoothly and the drive feels more responsive overall. The team did a great job, and I had full confidence in their work. A few weeks later, I took my wife's 2012 Lexus IS250 in for the same transmission service. This time, Roger (pictured above) was the one who worked on the car. I drove it home and, anecdotally speaking, it felt incredibly smooth--no hesitation or slipping gears whatsoever. Two months later, it's still performing flawlessly. Misty, the manager, is the real heart of this shop. She not only runs a tight operation, but she also remembers customers by name and truly goes the extra mile to make people feel welcome and taken care of. While waiting for the Highlander to be serviced, I witnessed Misty and her team assist an elderly man who had previously gone to Walmart for a transmission issue. He was wrongly told to pour fluid into the radiator cap, which created a dangerous situation. He brought the car to Tony's, and Misty personally stepped in. Despite the mess, they helped him out without asking for a cent. That kind of kindness and integrity is rare in any business. Tony's 5 Star Transmission has earned my full trust. Between the quality work, knowledgeable staff, and genuine care for their customers, I wouldn't take our vehicles anywhere else for transmission service.

The issue was clearly not fixed, yet instead of standing behind their work, I was asked to pay even more money to address the same problem. There was no refund offered, and the level of service changed throughout the process, communication became poor and inconsistent once payment was involved. To make matters worse, when I walked in to pay the bill, the final amount had increased significantly without any written notice or prior approval, which felt extremely unprofessional and shady. The customer service was horrible, and the lack of transparency makes this shop very hard to trust. Between the poor-quality repair, surprise charges, and refusal to take responsibility, I would not recommend this business. Stay away.

I have never dealt with someone so rude that is supplying a service to me and wants my money. So short on the phone and in person as well. At no point did I ever feel like a valued customer. He was a reference to me from my mechanic. Because he does transmissions. I do believe that the technicians in the garage do a good job however the front of their office, needs to be overhauled. His wife is super sweet. She was super nice. And it's unfortunate that I will not recommend this company to anybody because of him. Not to mention while my truck was there they left it outside and thieves stole my catalytic converter. They did replace the catalytic converter but didn't install it correctly. They used band clamps with sockets instead of welding it in place like they should have. And didn't even bother to tell me that that had happened. I found out as I was on the freeway and one of the band clamps blew apart. It's best that you just go somewhere else.
