Alright, let's talk about why this isn't a full five stars- because when it comes to flavor, Mazzah…read moreMediterranean Grill is easily one of the best Mediterranean spots in Boise, hands down. A friend of mine practically lives here- every other day, like clockwork- and the last time I joined, he ordered a full mezze-style spread that felt straight out of the Mediterranean coast: impossibly creamy hummus, cool and garlicky tzatziki, perfectly seasoned kebabs, fresh veggies, warm pita... dish after dish, each one better than the last. This is a casual, no-frills kind of place- so don't come expecting anything overly polished or upscale. The missing star from others? It's purely about the ambiance. But the food? That's a full five. What really shines is the quality, the authenticity, and the consistency. Everything tastes fresh, vibrant, and nourishing- the kind of meal that feels both indulgent and genuinely good for you. Add in friendly, welcoming service, and it's easy to see why people keep coming back.

He let me know the house rice is cooked with chicken stock. He suggested the mujaddara which is a rice and lentil blend, and it was certainly tasty! Free drink refills!

I visited Idaho Falafel when it parked was in a lot near my house. The first time I tried to visit,…read morethey had closed early. The second time, I made sure to go earlier in the day. I was very excited to try the falafel in particular, which I had heard great reviews about. I ordered the Gyro Plate with a side of Falafel. Based on the photo menu, I expected the falafel to come with some kind of a dipping sauce. I also ordered a side of garlic sauce for my gyro meat. The owner Mohammed was very friendly and outgoing. I enjoyed speaking with him. There was another gentleman working with him, who was cooking in the back. Mohamed answered all of my questions. One of the things I wanted to know before I ordered was if they were using one of the popular brands of gyro meat such as Kronos, which and you can purchase just about anywhere. I was told they did not. I was impressed to see that this business serves Coke from Mexico. I commented on that to Mohammed, including that I haven't had real Coke since I was a teenager. He insisted on giving me one to drink while I wait. It was excellent! My food came out fairly quickly. I drove home and opened the box to discover that the cook forgot to give me any sauce for my falafel, nor was there any garlic sauce. I really enjoyed the gyro meat. The falafel was pretty good but needed a little more seasoning, as did the hummus. The small salad had good flavor. I did not care for the pita bread. It was very thin and seemed a bit dry. I've been postponing my review in hopes of being able to revisit this business and try some more of their food, but it's been a while since I've seen them around. I'm hoping they will see this review and let me know if they have a new location.

No greeting and sort of seemed like they didnt want to be there. Not rude though. Food is delicious. Falafel were flavorful, crispy, but not dry. The hummus was almost smooth. The pita had a little stale texture. It's pretty pricy, but we'd come back if we were craving it. Oh yeah, the market is great too.

It comes with four falafel and two samosas, hummus, and a salad. I didnt get any samosas just six falafels. If they had told me they were out I'd have ordered something else. The hummus had no flavor, the garlic sauce had no flavor, the salad was tasteless. I had to add salt because they only put an oil on it. I wasn't satisfied with the food. I don't think the falafel was even homemade. They looked and tasted frozen. I was very disappointed in the meal. It looks pretty, but had no flavor. Also, parking. There is absolutely no parking. The surrounding businesses wont let you park in their connected lot. You will get towed. Parking in their lot, you pull in and there isn't a back road, you have to put your vehicle in reverse to get out. Can he dangerous if you park all the way in.
