CHINESE WEDDING (10/21/25) We booked his top package, so 1 team owned basically everything: creative direction + decor + florals (faux + fresh), styling/wardrobe (gown/tux rentals w/tailoring), glam, photo/video, DJ/MC, day-of ops, full install/strike, send-offs, plus the production backbone (pro audio + mics, intelligent lighting, staging, wrapped statement dance floors, screens/video walls). ENGAGEMENT PARTY (APRIL 2024) Michael took a Huntington church auditorium & turned it into a Bridgerton vibe soiree for 100 guests off my Pinterest/TikTok inspo. His 10+ person crew flipped the room in 3 hours, disappeared during the event, then left it spotless after, while our family got hair/makeup + tailored rentals at Imperial Bridal (returned 48 hours later). He also set us up w/ a photographer who got every must-have shot & kept us circulating w/o getting stuck in 1 convo. PRE-WEDDING STYLED SHOOTS (SPRING 2025) Full Korea-style pre-wedding shoot day w/o leaving NYC: 12+ hours, 4 looks, 2 indoor sets + 2 outdoor locations, 1,000+ raw photos, 50 final retouched images. Lily refreshed hair/makeup/wardrobe for every look, Malin directed posing so it read editorial (not stiff), & we used the images for our website/invites/signage/socials. COUPLES SHOWER (AUGUST 2025) At Terrace on the Park, Michael produced a couples shower w/ wedding-tier polish. Every sign + display (welcome moment, cocktail menu, Wedding Times branding) was custom so it looked cohesive, & the space was built w/ immersive draping, an outdoor photo moment, floral installs, cigar lounge, lighting, the full vibe. He also sourced our DJ/emcee + content creator so energy, announcements & footage all matched. I was nervous bc Ch people dont usually do showers, but Michael made it feel natural for both sides. CH CEREMONY + REHEARSAL DINNER NIGHT (10/16/25) 10/16 was not a pre-wedding day, it was a full cinematic production w/ multiple segments + outfit eras, run like a touring show. The Ch ceremony + door games + tea ceremony + send-off were staged & timed clean, bridal suite was photo-ready when photo/video arrived bc Michael coordinated setup + timing. Biggest game-changer: we did bridal party + family portraits on 10/16, so 10/17 felt peaceful (more candid, less posing). Then it rolled straight into our rehearsal dinner opening night gala at Blu Ember, incl a dress rehearsal w/ Farrah (our 2nd Am planner) + our officiant. The pacing felt intentional from start to finish. AMERICAN BLACK-TIE WEDDING AT WESTIN FLUSHING (10/17/25) Black-tie at concert-production level. Theme was Met Gala x Ultra Music Festival & Michael delivered: 14+ ft floral ceremony build, cocktail hour w/ 25+ life-size photo gallery, grand ballroom transformation w/floral waterfall, signage system, gallery-style floral displays, photo installs & my no blank space demand. It wasnt just decorated, it was produced, & the ops stayed calm: 2 planners, glam on a real schedule, wardrobe changes + touchups, timed reveals, clean transitions from ceremony cocktail reception afterparty. CH WEDDING (10/21/25) Im Chinese but I didnt grow up w/ the customs, so I intentionally stepped back & let Michael lead bc I wanted tradition done correctly. Since this was the wedding my parents had pictured for basically their whole lives, we split the weddings: 10/17 stayed fully American & 10/21 stayed fully Chinese. Michael carried the cultural blueprint end-to-end: glam at noon, completely different outfits + decor, 5pm-10pm, traditional seafood banquet w/dozens of courses, plus all the classic elements that make a Ch wedding feel legit, while I actually got to be present w/ my family. There is so much more BTS, but this review is already a short novel. We are still getting texts from guests saying it was 1 of the most memorable, well-produced weddings they have ever been to & that does not happen by accident. Do you want to have an unforgettable wedding? If you do, DO NOT hire MC Leo unless you want an unforgettable wedding in a BAD WAY. He is very UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. Sure he knows how to talk when you meet with him, but can he fulfill what he say? The answer is NO. He will say he can do this and that for me, but at the end, it was a total DISASTER. Everyone at my wedding hated him. First, he was LATE to my wedding! HOW CAN A MC BE LATE?!?!? Wedding is a once in a lifetime thing and he wasn't even there on time for such a big event he was paid to do?? Banquet started at 6pm and he had the guts to show up over an hour late!? He showed up with his "assistant" and his assistant wore a skimpy top to my wedding! On top of that, he promised me that his DJ staffs all speak English. TOTAL LIE. They don't even speak a lick of English. I tried to talk to them and his DJ crew IGNORED me. I would NOT RECOMMEND MC LEO AT ALL. I hired him because he was the MC for New York Pageant for a few years and thought he was good. TOTAL MISTAKE! HIRE HIM AS YOUR MC AT YOUR OWN RISK! Good thing he went his own way and is NO LONGER part of Imperial Studio. If I knew Leo was like this, I wouldn't even have gone out of my way to hire him. I should have asked for Imperial Studio for their recommendation on MC. Biggest mistake and regret. :*( On the other hand, Imperial Studio was great. Their package price is reasonable. I've went around many different wedding studios in Flushing to inquire about their wedding packages and found this place to be the best. I'm so glad I went with Imperial. Lily Wong was my makeup artist and she was AWESOME. I read many great reviews about Lily both on Yelp and Google, so I decided to request her to do my makeup and hair. She is amazing at what she does! I only showed her this hairstyle I want for my engagement photo shoot and she made it happen! But you also gotta believe in her if you don't know what kind of hairstyle you want. This happened to me during my wedding day and I just let her decide and I was THRILLED with my hair. Everyone was complimenting my hairstyle! I also hired Lily to help me with my makeup and hair during my banquet and she was quick with changing my hairstyle. Can't be happier! Yen is also amazing. She helped me throughout the whole process from beginning to end of wedding planning. Very patient and sweet. Thumbs up to all the Imperial Studio staffs! There are many different variety of wedding dresses (In-door & Out-door), gowns, and the most importantly - the MAKE-UP & Hair-Style. I've been thru many wedding ceremonies and heard different feedback from the brides, none of the Asian Wedding Studio could do better than this studio. People are very patient and nice to help you try on and pick the dresses for your wedding ceremony. Their wedding planner called Leo, he really knows how you want your wedding ceremony goes and just make it happened. I have 8 pairs of bridesmaids and groomsmen, plus 4 parents; we got HUMMER Limo, DJ, MC-Johnny did a very great job on my wedding ceremony, photographers, etc. My make-up artist - Lily Wong made me the most beautiful bride! She knows what kinds of make up and hair style is suitable for you, of course, in the trendy way. Their cosmetics tools are very clean, all of our skins didn't break out after that. I heard some other store didn't sterilize the make-up tools and just use that on your face which really disgusted me. Yen is very good too, all of my bridesmaids are very satisfied with her make up and I like it too. The most important things is their attitude is really good. Lily does AMAZING WORK! I brought in photos of half up half down for my wedding day hairstyle as well as makeup look that I wanted. She got it even better than I thought! She truly took the time to listen to me, and even though I said natural, she realized I meant natural skin and more dramatic eye makeup since that's what I'm used to. She asked for feedback and how I felt about everything every step of the way. I felt so pretty and would totally book her again for other events! I can tell she has honed her craft, and the expertise is much appreciated! She's super nice and warm, and I really enjoyed talking to her. My appt was at 12pm, but she finished like 45 mins even though I thought she'd take the full 2 hours. My sister who came with me was surprised that I was done before she came back with coffee and food. I highly highly recommend Lily. I see that she has other services such as videogeapht and photography at the studio, and I'm sure the attention to detail shows in those as well if Lily is doing it. Hands down, I loved my hair and makeup. I received so many compliments during my photoshoot after the ceremony, and I felt so confident the whole day. In the beginning, I didn't plan to have my wedding planned there. I already had two other wedding studios in my mind. One studio's service was horrible, and the other one didn't do any of the things I asked to. So I found out about this other wedding studio called Imperial Studio. This studio looked amazing, and they were so friendly. They gave me a lot of great deals about weddings. This is just a like a wedding planner, whenever I asked for something they managed to make it happen for me.They helped me so much. For the packages, I talked to Bobo. She is amazing and so friendly! She would explain every little detail and teach me how to look for the right plan (considering it was my first wedding and I had no clue what to do). The makeup people and the photographer helped a lot, and they were truly amazing. The makeup artist Lily, is amazing. I loved her makeup, I went to many places for makeup, but Lily was the best out of all. Crystal helped me pick out the best dresses. They were so pretty. Whatever dress I wanted, Crystal helped me find it. She also helped me make my album. I'm writing this 2 weeks after my wedding. It was truly perfect. I had wonderful experience in Imperial Studio. Before choice Imperial Studio, I went to couple companies in Flushing, comparing service and price, finally I decided to choose Imperial Studio. Staff Yen was very patient and answered all my questions and explained whole process of wedding photograph program. My husband is a Jewish, he has never used Chinese store. In the beginning, my husband doesn't trust Chinese store, after he talked with Yen, he is very comfortable to let Imperial Studio to do our wedding photograph. I chose Lily to do my makeup because I reviewed Imperial Studio homepage and consumers' review and pictures. She has very strong skills of makeup, all the brides are so beautiful from her hands. My big day was 5/3/2026 I had a great experience with Imperial Bridal. The pre-wedding photos turned out great and such a treat to have them in a nice photobook and giant portrait of us. Lily is the star gem of this place, she is very professional and you can tell she cares a lot in making sure your wedding is perfect. My wedding reception was only able to run so smoothly through both Leo and Lily. They tagged team to make sure that the wedding happened in the way I imagined. Leo is a great MC who was able to communicate in both Mandarin and English that was able to keep our guests entertained and laughing through out. Lily as I said was the STAR, she managed me through 3 dress changes and touch ups during my wedding day and reception. My friends said it was remarkable seeing her rush to get to me during these dress changes. Imperial bridal is great and reasonable for all their services. Would recommend having someone fluent in Chinese to communicate with them as they are bilingual but would be easier to communicate some ideas and plans in Chinese rather than English. read more

I has been photo taking at Imperial weeding studio for 4 times and everything is come out very good. All the photos are looks very natural and make me looks like one of the magazine model. The service is good, the price is very reasonable on what I had or choose. Special the makeup artist Lily has very nice personality and exceptional makeup techniques. The photographers is great, their are very patient and friendly. Because I am not from NY so I was always later of my schedule and the workers have to stay and overtime for doing my makeup or photo taking. But they still very nice to me. Awwwww...
