We've had a massive amount of contractors coming in and out of the house, but Frontier has been by far the best and our favorite! They have been nothing but a joy to work with (besides the circumstances that brought them to our house) as they are good-hearted, honest and hard working people. We have met more than 20+ of their crew members because of all our problems, and every one of them has been very professional, kind and positive. We are extremely thankful for the supervisors, Mr. David and Mr. Nicholas, for their superb leadership of their crew, supervision of the projects at-hand, and their genuine care for helping us. Mr. Nicholas always made himself available to us and kept us posted on the latest happenings. Mr. David is very responsive, trustworthy and a man of his words, which is a rare find these days. He has made this stressful and horrific process much easier to bear. We are so grateful for all his care, support and positive management! We'd also like to acknowledge and praise two specific crew members: Mr. Eric and Mr. Omar. Mr. Eric in particular has been overseeing all our issues for the past nine months. He is honest and a man of integrity. We appreciate how meticulous and diligent he is at ensuring all areas that's infected are found and treated properly. He always goes above and beyond to ensure all our concerns are addressed. As for Mr. Omar, we remember the first time we met him, he came to drop off air scrubbers at 8pm. Despite having a long day's work, he still greeted us with a smile and was helpful in getting us setup. Gentlemen like Mr. David, Nicholas, Eric and Omar are what makes a company a true asset and gem! Please consider them for your mold remediation/ restoration needs. You will not regret it!

I then had to pay another contractor $38,049 to fix their work, plus over $55,000 in repairs and over $20,000 in mold and pest remediation. My home sat boarded and open for months through storm season. I asked repeatedly by text, email, and phone for it to be covered. Mold followed, and I was told to file a new claim. Their billing charged me for work on things that don't exist in my house: custom cabinets, tile, crown moulding, extra chandeliers, a kitchen door. They billed $1,636.74 for a hydroxyl generator that could not have run because the house had no power. Electrical circuits were billed as tested ($1,182.95), yet many still don't work. They also removed my belongings for "cleaning and storage." Four vaults, 322 boxes. I've demanded their return in writing (July 14, 2025 and December 11, 2025). On August 19, 2025, their contents manager told me it was the first request she'd seen. The property is still in their possession. I'm now in court, pro se, asking for my property back. I wouldn't hire this company again, and I'd warn anyone dealing with them to document everything, photograph everything, and get every promise in writing.

I had something more urgent than shopping for contractors while I was in the state of panic. I got plumbing issue fixed within a couple of days. Plus, I already removed wet debris out of my house. Then, he demanded to get my insurance claim. I said, let me know how much it is first. Because I need to know if it would benefit from my deductible first. He said NO (very rudely). He refused to give me the price until I give him claim number. Fine. Let me contact my insurance agent and he will call me back because he didn't want me to call him. He said he had an appointment at 11. He can call me at 9 to setup a time. Next day, I waited for his call between 9 and 11. Rise roofer provided a drone image of our roof and left it on our door. We were going in circles with our insurance company and so we decided to just get a quote from Rise. After comparing quotes with our neighbors, we found that Rise had the lowest quote. Since it was difficult to deal with the insurance company, let alone it would take them awhile to approve it, we decided to pay out of pocket since there were more storms in the forecast. We worked with Brad and he was AMAZING. He walked us through the insurance process as it was our first time putting in a claim and had no idea what to do. Since we decided to move forward with paying out of pocket, Brad was still communicative even after getting our business. Everyday he called us to give us a status update on the process. They replaced our roof by end of business. Brad was also onsite to make sure the job was being done. We would recommend Rise again and again, which we have... ask the 5 neighbors on our street.

Houston Roofing and Construction was the only company that was concerned about maximizing my ventilation system. He suggested that I go with a turbine system that would maximum my ventilation system that would in return help extend the life of my roof. During the installation, they caused severe damage to my front yard, including destroying a rare and expensive Japanese maple tree. Their method of "protecting" plants was just throwing a tarp over them, which did nothing to shield them from falling shingles and tools. A three-story ladder fell on my shrubs, damaging several, and worse -- it also fell onto my brand-new AC unit, bending the top grill. Since then, the ventilator has been rotating only millimeters away from the edge on one side, at risk of scraping. On top of that, there were permit issues. It took multiple emails and calls from me -- both to the company and the permit office -- to get it straightened out. They tried to tell me that "approval of the drawings" was the same as having the permit approved, which was not true. The confusion dragged out the inspection process unnecessarily. They never offered to fix or compensate for any of the damage. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend them.
