People outside we're staring as the lady tried reaching into my car to get the card and wouldn't allow me to get into my own belongings. I went here around 2 weeks ago and was not impressed at all. The women who work here are very rude, and think you're going to steal something and rush you out of the place. The food had no flavor and was cold. I wish I never got the crab legs.. all I heard about was how "great they were" (I've had better) and how expensive they were. I totally agree with Jannah S. We went there on Saturday night for dinner and the exact same thing occurred with us. As senior citizens, we came in and were immediately told that "we can not serve you". They said since my significant girlfriend eats too many crab legs and they are too expensive, thus we can not serve you. We were flabbergasted and left for another restaurant. Well,... I came here with my mother and my two siblings to celebrate my sisters birthday on Tuesday around 7 p.m. So they were serving dinner ... I didn't really see much of a difference between what was being given to us. The food was cold and had been siting out. There was no one in the kitchen grilling fresh food like they do in Plainville. We told the manager about how we were a bit disappointed and she was very unapologetic and seemed to be more defensive than sincere, so the customer service was well... Not good. We did get a 15 percent off but honestly will not eat here again. Spend the extra gas and go to the one in Plainville ... Save yourself the headache. They should not be charging extra for dinner than they do for lunch if they are serving the same food for probably hours... read more

I love food! I really love Chinese food, and in particular, a buffet! This establishment really impressed me from the start. Upon entering it became very evident that the owners take pride in every aspect of their business. The wonderfully decorated surroundings ensured a great start to the meal. There are many rows of delicious dishes, all freshly prepared, and in abundance. Variety was certainly not lacking! We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who made us all feel at home. I like fried fish in particular and it was cooked to perfection! I tried several other dishes which all were tremendous. I was with a group, it was a meeting for our group with lunch. What a wonderful place to have met. Deserts were equally great. During the course of our stay, the waitress was noted and thanked for being so attentive to our group. We will definitely be back there probably next month for our dinner/meeting. I award this fine establishment 5 golden platters and a big thank you from our group! read more

We went here as part of a class field trip. Obviously knowing that there would be many kids, seeing as it was for the entire grade, you would think they would close down the restaurant. Well, they say they would, but when we arrived, they had many customers, which messed up everything. The seats were placed extremely close together, and some seats were partially broken. We went up to get our food, about 15 people at a time, and it was rather overwhelming. Our feet would stick to the floor as we walked, they had signs poorly hung up on the walls with tape, and their plates and utensils had stains on them. The lines would move rather slowly, which is expected since there were many kids, but the food tables were placed extremely close together, and the baskets with food were not only small, but the food was served cold. The food did not taste like authentic Chinese food, and honestly tasted like it was microwaved. The food ran out quickly, and took them awhile to refill the baskets. Now, the Mac and cheese. It tasted rather weird, but no one really pointed it out at first. Then, after about 15 minutes, people started complaining about stomach aches, headaches, cramps, etc. the desserts were basically horrible, the cookies tasting like play dough, the jello plain, and very dense, even the fruit didn't taste right. The waitresses were pretty nice, but they were video taping us on their personal devices, and seemed to check their phones often. The best part was the ice cream cart they had, which seemed to not have caused any problems. At least 4 people threw up in the restaurant, and the bathrooms were nothing less than disgusting. They had a rather unpleasant smell, and everything seemed to be in terrible condition. Currently, I have food poisoning, many others do, and the restaurant overall ruined the field trip in whole. For anyone looking to go there, don't. All it will leave you is food poisoning, a bad memory, and it is a complete waste of money. I came here on a group trip, with over 100 people joining me. We had asked ahead of time to close the restaurant for us, yet the restaurant was open and filled with people. We sat in the organized party room, with a few scattered around the rest of the restaurant. We went up to the buffet in groups of around 15, everyone helped themselves not expecting what came next. As we traveled back to our seats we noticed that the decor on the wallpaper was poorly taped and wrinkled. As waking on the tile and carpet our shoes stuck to the floor as if we stepped in slime. The walls had what looked like soy sauce or some other dark substance smeared on it. We were given one fork, no knives nor spoon. Walking up to the buffet to get plates, we noticed that our plates were still soaking wet and some had soap still on them! We bought ice cream, which cost $1 and is located next to the rest of the desserts. The spoon they gave me had something still on it, and so did some other utensils that they gave us. Many of us had the mac and cheese, which is ironic for being a Chinese restaurant, and we all immediately felt flushed, felt feverish, and felt sick to our stomach. We are assuming it was the mac and cheese as everyone who had it, said it tasted strange and said they didn't feel good. The workers were fairly kind, however they were taking pictures of us and also videos using their personal phones. The bathrooms were disgusting. The smell was unappetizing. Toilets had broken pieces lying on the floor, black markings all over them, and the stalls were fitted with huge gaps that made me nervous of someone looking at me. 100% would not recommend and I am definitely not coming back. read more

Buffett is fair at best, it needs to be updated, floors / rugs dirty. Me family arrived there at 8:30 PM (last seating 9:30). At 9:25 we started getting dirty Looks by the staff because they wanted they leave and close the doors, staff UNFRIENDLY and makes you feel very uncomfortable! The place stinks like raw fish. I ate one sugar dumpling that was so fresh and tasty. When I picked up the other one it was hard and cold. So I started paying attention to the buffet. Smh instead of just putting a fresh dish of food out they add the old food to the new food. I will never come here again due to the fact that this place is so unsanitary. We arrived there at 2:45 on a Saturday for lunch. We were told that lunch ends at 3:00 but we would be charged the lunch price. The hostess warned us not to eat the items marked "DINNER ONLY" or we would be charged the dinner price. I told her that we would not be eating those items. As we were trying to enjoy our meal, all of the servers were constantly walking by our table to make sure that we did not take their dinner only items. My children even noticed it and commented. It was extremely rude and annoying. We couldn't even enjoy our meal in peace. Finally the bill came. My children went off to feed the fish. I was getting some fruit. I happen to look over at our table and and three employees were tearing the table apart looking for payment. I was not even done eating. We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Why don't I ever learn? This place was terrible, even by Chinese Buffet standards. $13.95 for adults, and 11 year old kids are considered adults even on a Wednesday night. That was a nice surprise since the ages were not posted anywhere and our experience was so horrible. I will begin with the restaurant itself. Tacky Asian decor, AC was set way too warm even for late September. Clouds of steam rose over most tables so abundantly that you could not see the food, perhaps this is intentional??? The steam certainly contributed to the muggy uncomfortable conditions. The place is filthy, dark and smelly, Certainly avoid if you are older or have a compromised immune system. The beverage service is all out in the open, just a bunch of dingy tables with boxes of fountain soda stacked up. No attempt is made to make a nice presentation. I think the owners have already given up on the place? The food was all stale, swimming in oil or syrup and clearly of very poor quality, almost all frozen. I like to take a lot of small samples at a place like this. I try just a little taste of a lot of dishes. I have never been to one of these places where everything I had was so horrible. My daughter found a fly in her soup, we pointed it out to the clueless staff. She took the bowl and said nothing to us, as though it was regular occurrence. I was happy to divert two victims in the parking lot. They mentioned that they had been there once before and it was a bit iffy. After my recount of what happened, they got in their car and went elsewhere. I can only hope the place goes out of business before anyone gets sick. We are new to The area and still looking for a good, clean regular Chinese place, we are 0 for 2 so far. read more
