If I know what the doctor said to me please don't think I'm making it up. I know precisely what was discussed. You weren't there. You suck to the outdated orders but thought you were correct. Yet when the internist started to look it up on the PC she found the consult instructions that were discussed with me. I was at the consultation. I know exactly what was discussed. The check-in process was excellent--I was registered and placed in an exam room before I could even finish my paperwork. I first explained my symptoms, injuries, and what caused them to the physician assistant. A few minutes later, Dr. Campbell entered and asked me to repeat everything I had just explained. After listening to my account, I was stunned when Dr. Campbell told me she would not document how or where my injuries occurred in my medical record. I repeated her statement back to make sure I understood correctly, genuinely surprised by what I was hearing. When I asked if she considered my explanation to be hearsay, she answered, "Yes." I was taken aback. Before leaving, I asked one final question: "Do you think I'm lying to you?" She did not respond, which only added to my disbelief. For context, I had recently been arrested following a minor physical altercation, and I believe my injuries occurred while I was in the custody of Springfield law enforcement and the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office. Regardless of the circumstances, I expected my physician to accurately document the history I provided, even if it was clearly identified as my reported account. Instead, I left shocked that such a critical part of my medical history was dismissed outright rather than recorded. While the staff was prompt and courteous at first, my interaction with Dr. Campbell left me with the firm belief that Springfield Clinic Urgent Care medical professionals do not care about disabled veterans. They also banned me from ever returning because I asked to speak to someone about Dr Campbell's overt disrespect while saying I've never experienced such disrespect like that as a military veteran.

It was always busy, but that's how you knew the system worked now no one's there, only one doctor on duty who looks like she just got out of school and you have to stay there all day once you get there and you never used to have to do that before; urgent care means right away not staying all day. It's the middle of winter and I went down to my favourite urgent care not realizing they had completely changed over to Memorial. Had I known I probably never would've chosen them because it was like being at Memorial Hospital Triage Center. I know they say that too is an emergency, but it's not if you gotta stay there all day that's not an emergency room. I don't know why people gotta change stuff that doesn't need fixing. Now I gotta try and find a real urgent care that gets you in and out and under an hour. And if they could change just one thing have the appropriate heating or air conditioning on during said Seasons like putting me in a room where all I had was a shorts and a T-shirt on and it's the middle of winter and they had the air-conditioning on.
