Two visits with his office. His office staff is a well oiled machine. He's highly knowledgeable and is great with explaining the procedure to the patient. I'd prefer never to need another root canal but if I had the need I'd go to this office. Highly recommended! read more

I'm new to Springfield so I didn't have any recommendation on where to go for a root canal. I was more than a little hesitant for such a serious procedure, but I couldn't have chosen better than Dr. Taylor. He gave me an appointment same week, was super professional. His office is 100% prepared with Covid measures (take temperature, masks, no waiting room). I was very worried about the oncoming pain of the procedure but I am not kidding when I tell you I DIDN'T FEEL A THING. He's an expert at administering local anesthetic. I have felt more at normal fillings than this! I am beyond happy with his service and recommend him to everybody. 5 stars!! read more

the doctor was rude, his nurse was kind of pleasant but did not honesty have too much interaction with her. front desk woman is very strict, does her job well but with that being said, she will not wait for anyone, makes her demands known in advance. she runs the show really. she dose a lot, but the doctor himself, extreamly rude. took two months to see him , had to pay monthly payments for 2,500+. all paid in full before I even met the man. not friendly , can't imagine him with kids. he knows what he is doing but you can tell he takes no pleasure in his job. honestly I'm upset , feeling like I'm paying a car payment . he makes SOOOOO much money , yet treats his clients with no respect. I want to believe he is a good man. I've seen other reviews. maybe it was a bad day for him. or was stressed. I just still do not feel good at all. would not even discuss anything for pain. just told me to keep up on the advil after a full root canal. very small practice, now I know why.... read more

I yelped "emergency dental" and saw the post from a patient who had an emergency and was also on vacation. So, while on the road heading to Springfield, at 7:40 this morning we called Dr. Capati's after hours number and told him what happened. He said to call his staff at 8:00 and we did; they were able to squeeze in Stephen at 2:50 pm. The staff texted him a link for dental information (ie name, address, issues, etc) and by the time we arrived, everything was taken care of. He was done within 45 minutes and he said the tooth feels great. He's extremely happy and gives high praise to the staff and doctor.

Be careful if you are a new patient! They do not do annual cleaning for the patient, instead they…read moredo first time visit cleaning which your insurance usually will not cover it 100%. I have made the call to do annual cleaning but it ended up be another "advanced" cleaning, named as: first time visit cleaning. This cleaning might be needed if you have not do your dental appt for more than 5-10 years, but for most ppl with insurance covered, we do cleaning annually, this advanced check make no sense, especially the dental trying to play the game to not mentioning specifically that they are doing a cleaning that will not be covered by insurance completely. So remember to ask clearly before they give you anything to sign!
