I have had many issues with their equipment since, from the main panel glitching and not making noise for any alerts, to their sensors being faulty and incorrectly alerting to alarms that are not accurate. I had to eventually manually turn two of my sensors off because they were constantly alerting when I set the alarm for no reason, and they wanted to charge me to have someone come out to fix it. I tried almost 6 years to suck it up and rectify with them, but no more. My final straw was this week when my IQ main Panel started glitching and showing a screen overlapped with Spanish so I could barely use it. I reached out for assistance and was told I could reboot but if that didn't work a replacement would be needed at my own cost because after 1 year of contract the equipment is the responsibility of the homeowner (per their "policies"). So now, not only do I have two sensors not working but a main panel that is unusable unless I pay a good chunk of money for a new one, and am paying $40 monthly for security that is basically useless at this time. Their customer service was dismissive of my complaints and did not care for my concerns. I'm making the switch to a bigger brand company that offers more equipment for half the price and half the monthly price for monitoring, with lifetime equipment guarantee. With the number of options out there for home security, you'd think they'd try a little harder to update "policies" and help retain long time customers.

Scott showed as scheduled and whet right to work after I told him all the issues I was having. He…read morewas confident that he could fix everything. I was skeptical! Not only did he fix everything he fixed issues I didn't even know I had!! He connected my Bluetooth to my surround sound, ran new digital optical to the TV, adjusted all the speaker outputs, got two matching remotes working, got all my components to shut off together using just one button and lastly had me make a video of what he did in case I ever wanted to adjust anything. I have only written one review prior to this one, so understand I only review if the person exceeds…read moremy expectations in every way, and Scott sure has exceeded my highest expectations. We have been so disappointed in most "experts" that we have hired to do work for us, so when you find one that is awesome it is such a pleasant surprise. We had a ton of ceiling speakers that were original to the house and terminated in a jumble of unlabeled wires so I knew it was beyond me doing the work. I wanted full surround sound for the TV, the stereo speakers hooked up, additional speakers added, the remote control completely programmed and yes all of the wires hooked up. Scott suggested the components based on our budget. He made quick work of identifying and labeling the wires and the unique challenges of our system didn't slow him down. He had to rewire the TV to enhance its capabilities (the wires run through a cavity around our fireplace...so not an easy task). He spent two days dialing in the specific sound we were looking for. He was extremely patient and thorough in explaining all of the specific instructions of how to use and he made it all automatic for us. He helped with loading the apps on my phone and going over how to control everything from my phone. He has been unbelievably responsive in our calling him for added instructions and when we had an slight issue with one of the units he was quick to just exchange it for a better unit. He got it installed in minutes and then took thee old unit back to his shop to talk with the manufacturer...rather than haggle with them when he was at our house he just did the right thing without being asked. That is what you get with Scott...you get someone that just plain does the right thing, takes his profession seriously and is that one in a million "expert" that actually deserves the title. You will definitely be happy hiring him for any electronics needs you have.
