Best pretzel we have had in lancaster. Hot. Fresh. Flavorful. $3 each. Casual. We sat out front. Service was great!! Note- they stop making pretzels 20 min prior to closing. They should keep making them until actual closing. The people in line plenty early couldn't get all they wanted. read more

Fresh, hot, salty, and buttery! So good. I love a warm, fresh pretzel. Very clean, service was fast. Seating is outside; that area was very clean also. A fun spot to sit and enjoy a treat, while you people watch (and buggy watch). The only complaint was that my daughter wanted hot cheese to dip in. The cheese had good flavor, so I wasn't bothered. read more

Awesome fresh rolled and baked pretzels in Intercourse, PA in Amish country. There's a nice variety of flavors, and they offer a deal where you can select 6 flavors for a good variety. They also make fresh lemonade. It's a bit of a wait for them to bake your pretzels fresh but it's worth it, and they offer mustard and cheese sauces as well as a chocolate sauce for that sweet cinnamon pretzel. Even Lace raved over these pretzels, and she usually isn't impressed by pretzels in general. read more

Great Amish restaurant in the heart of town. You order inside and they bring it out to you. Outside seating is clean and quiet. Saw a lot of the local community eating here so it's definitely poplar with the locals. Really enjoyed the soft pretzels and the stuffed pretzels. Everyone is super friendly. read more

I've wanted to come here for years and finally did! I really love their signage and logo. What's really cool is that once inside, you see them hand roll and form the pretzels that then go in the oven. I wanted to see if I could get a pretzel with a combo of cinnamon sugar on one side and sour cream and onion on the other. The best they could do is take a sugar combo and then dust a little of the other flavor on it. It was different and kind of worked. I think when in the area taking a self guided tour to other pretzel places is a good way to compare and the drive thru the countryside to them is lovely. read more

The soft pretzels are delicious!!! We made a meal off it and their potato soup which is also wonderful. It is an easy place to drive by as it's a busy area and the pretzel place is small. There is a tiny driveway where you can park in a lot out back. I wish they had overnight delivery so we could share the pretzels with our family! read more

We tried a bunch of different pretzels and all of them were amazing. Their strawberry lemonade is also great.

There isn't a ton to say. Truly delicious! I would say best soft pretzels I've ever had! read more

Located outside Kitchen Kettle Village, near the parking lot entrance on Old Philadelphia Pike, is a small shop that serves soft pretzels for less than $3. Available pretzel flavors include plain, wheat, sesame, sour cream and onion, garlic, and cinnamon and sugar. Think of the popular pretzel chain Auntie Anne's, as it was founded by an Amish woman in Pennsylvania not too far away from the Amish Country. I visited Immergut right after they opened for the day and beat the bus tour groups. The pretzels were already made, sitting in the oven and dipped in the onion and sour cream flavor powdering I requested. They were soft and chewy, providing a satisfying quick snack before lunch. If you love soft pretzels, you'll appreciate this place for its quality and value. read more

Good pretzels- go with the classic regular with salt and butter. There's a good chew with this pretzel in addition to the size of it. Buy 6 and get 7 free so you can bring it home. It does reheat beautifully in the oven. I would skip the lemonade though. Pure sugar and no lemon flavor. read more

Mmmmm....pretzels. Buttery, hot, soft pretzels. Dipping sauces for said pretzels. There are no bad choices here. I think I noticed some kind of shakes/drinks but we were on the hunt for a good pretzel. We definitely had them here. I loved the caramel dipping sauce and my friend really liked the cheese and sweet mustard options. Since I was on a gluttonous rampage this weekend, I decided to enjoy my buttery pretzel as-is. There are options to get them without the butter. Counter service moves the line quickly and there are some tables outside to sit down and enjoy a treat. read more

We always get a hot dog pretzel and fresh squeezed lemonade and sit outside watching the people go by. It's fantastic!

We wanted to have Amish pretzels and saw this place. We loved their garlic pretzels! We enjoyed sesame as well. Nice people and shop!

Delicious pretzel. I have been wanting to try this place and finally got around to it. I will definitely be back!

Let me first start off by saying this was hands down the best soft pretzel I ever had. It was extremely fresh, nice & hot, and just overall, so good. We were visiting the Amish town in Pennsylvania on a Saturday and stopped by the market area to walk around and browse the stores. Here is when we decided to have a snack at this pretzel place. The line was long but moved very quickly. They were very efficient here. We ordered 2 pretzels and wanted more after we finished them. That's how delicious they were. With our soft pretzels, we also had 2 different dips to try out. A cheese dip and a sweet mustard dip. Again, both these dips were excellent. They complimented the pretzel well. I especially enjoyed the sweet mustard one. So flavorful. And the prices were extremely cheap, compared to what other Pretzel places charge. Overall, this place is a must try when visiting the Amish. read more

I'll think about this pretzel for the rest of my life. 10/10. Can't beat the prices either!

[1105] 6/2020 We stopped at this local pretzel place while on our bike ride. I'm so glad we did as the pretzels are SOOO tasty and soft. The inside was clean and the staff was very friendly. There are a few tables outside for use. I don't know where to park or where the parking is as we rode our bikes. I'm glad I book marked this place as I will definitely be back. read more

The pretzels are good; similar to Auntie Annie's, but less expensive. The lemonade is superb! I wouldn't go out of my way for these pretzels, but I could imagine craving the lemonade on a hot summer day. read more

Best soft pretzels in the area! You can find them all over Amish country but these are absolutely my favorite. Amish-run and they have the business down to a science where you'll get a fresh pretzel everytime. The line moves VERY quick. They have fun seasonings too like sour cream & onion and garlic parmesan. But you can't beat a classic soft pretzel with mustard or cheese sauce! read more

Philadelphia may be known for soft pretzels, but nothing beats a fresh pretzel prepared in Lancaster County. Pretzels are freshly prepared, perfectly buttery without being over salted. Both the regular (traditional) and cinnamon sugar pretzels were a hit, uniquely tasty in their own way. The Amish girl at the counter was sweet and came outside within a few minutes to hand us the order once complete. Not sure why the Yelp listing states no credit cards, but they happily take credit cards here. It's a perfect snack to grab before or after shopping in one of the many adjacent shops. It lives up to the ratings and it's definitely a place I'd stop in again if in the area. read more

I checked this place out in early January 2023 with a friend, since we were driving through Amish country and wanted to try some local foods on a whim. I ordered a standard soft pretzel and my friend ordered a soft pretzel as well as a ham and cheese roll. We stood outside by the tables: I scarfed down my pretzel in mere minutes, and my friend enjoyed his ham and cheese roll so much that after he finished it, he ran back inside and ordered a second one! The pretzels are way better than Auntie Anne's or any of those big salty pretzels from Root's or Green Dragon. They have a very rich, buttery flavor of old school handmade soft pretzels, as opposed to those manufactured frozen ones. If you're out in Intercourse by the Kitchen Kettle shops, be sure to check this place out. It's really small inside, but it was never too crowded: my friend and I got our food almost immediately after payment. The eating area is out front with a few tables and chairs. read more

For a PA Dutch style soft pretzel, this is the place to go! So much better than Annie Anne's. It's small inside with no where to sit. They make the pretzels fresh when you order so it's worth the 8 minute wait. They even let me custom my order to not include butter on top. I like mine plain. The wheat pretzel is really good and different! I enjoyed the employees, they were kind and friendly. It's very clean inside. read more

An essential Lancaster must do! They are "part" of the extended Kitchen Kettle Village area. They have their own building, and everything is made on site! The wife and I have been here 10 + times and always make it a mission of ours to come at least once if not 2-7 times on each trip! Its that good! We have tried about 20 different places that sell fresh pretzels in Lancaster, and they are all exactly the same. Im sorry to say it, but its true! They are all exactly the same... Same pretzel, same cheese.... Each place might have different specialty pretzels, but its all the same! That being said, they are still amazing! Buttery, flaky, buttery, salty, buttery, delicious, buttery, buttery, buttery. But that describes all soft pretzels in Lancaster lol! They also had a few specialty pretzels like a wrapped hot dog, they had a stuffed cheesesteak one when we went last, both were delicious and especially when dipped in cheese! My wife loved the lemonade, and I got the special peach smoothie. Both were pretty good! All in all, amazing pretzels! IF you are in KKV, this is your place to stock up. If you dont eat them right away, fridge em! Then back for 5 minutes or until warm and wowsa! read more

Wow! I was blown away with these pretzels!! They are so good! From the counter, you can see that the pretzels are hand rolled and baked fresh. Our pretzels came out piping hot out of the oven! We chose cinnamon sugar-soooo good (just be prepared for the mess though!). Next time i'd like to try some of their other flavors too. There are some that sound delicious. read more

This is one of the best soft pretzels I've ever had! It's a small shop, and they make everything homemade in there. There isn't really a seating area, but it looked like there were some tables outside available. They have a couple of flavor options, and the service was pleasant. The pretzels themselves were warm, homemade, and soft. I will definitely be back! read more

Totally worth the wait! I love soft pretzels, and knew my trip to Lancaster wouldn't be complete without a fresh-baked one. I usually get one at Central Market when I visit my mom's hometown, but since I was by Kitchen Kettle Village I decided to stop by Immergut instead. So glad I did! While you wait to order, you can watch them hand-rolling the pretzels right in front of you and putting them in the oven. A steady stream of customers had visited so when I ordered a regular pretzel, there weren't any ready, but she said it would be less than five minutes. Fine by me, because I got a piping-hot, fresh pretzel soon enough. I got a cup of mustard from next to the register and sat outside to eat my pretzel. It was fluffy, but slightly crisp on the outside, and oh-so buttery. In other words, this pretzel was perfect. I don't know when I'll be back to Amish Country, but when I return, you bet I'm coming back here. Next time I want to try the cinnamon sugar! read more

Nicely executed plain pretzel though a bit dry and crunchy. Try to go when the pretzels are fresh. I ordered a plain pretzel and sweet mustard. At 2pm, the pretzel had clearly seen better days. It was starting to dry out and had developed a dry chewiness that was slightly too much. Nevertheless, the pretzel exhibited a healthy butteriness and chewiness. The sweet mustard sauce was sweet and astringent. Tasty but in no way complex. read more

1st visit wasn't bad. Bought more to take home. Rather disappointed. Pretzels seemed very thin & tasted more like pizza dough than pretzels. If we visit again will go elsewhere. read more

Delicious pretzels that are handcrafted while you wait. The cinnamon sugar and sour cream & onion are highlights!

Wow, Auntie Annie, step aside! This place puts mall pretzel shops to shame. There is nothing more alluring to me than pushing past a porchful of waiting people, standing in line, and finally after a brief wait on the porch myself.... receiving freshly made-as-you-order soft pretzel in whatever flavor I want. They have various flavors, but this time I stuck with plain, which was so perfectly buttery and lightly crisp on the outside, and just the right amount of soft chewiness on the inside. The touch of salt was enough to take me to heaven, if only for a while. I took some to go, but because they were hot when I got them and I didnt let it ventilate as I walked around, it did inevitably get soggy. I intend to pop those suckers back into the toaster oven or my oven tomorrow to have this tasty treat again in it's close to original glory! And next time- let it cool and ventilate! read more
