Great Amish restaurant in the heart of town. You order inside and they bring it out to you. Outside seating is clean and quiet. The soft pretzels are delicious!!! We made a meal off it and their potato soup which is also wonderful. It is an easy place to drive by as it's a busy area and the pretzel place is small. I've wanted to come here for years and finally did! I really love their signage and logo. What's really cool is that once inside, you see them hand roll and form the pretzels that then go in the oven. I wanted to see if I could get a pretzel with a combo of cinnamon sugar on one side and sour cream and onion on the other. The best they could do is take a sugar combo and then dust a little of the other flavor on it. It was different and kind of worked. I think when in the area taking a self guided tour to other pretzel places is a good way to compare and the drive thru the countryside to them is lovely. read more

Let me first start off by saying this was hands down the best soft pretzel I ever had. It was extremely fresh, nice & hot, and just overall, so good. We were visiting the Amish town in Pennsylvania on a Saturday and stopped by the market area to walk around and browse the stores. Here is when we decided to have a snack at this pretzel place. The line was long but moved very quickly. They were very efficient here. We ordered 2 pretzels and wanted more after we finished them. That's how delicious they were. With our soft pretzels, we also had 2 different dips to try out. A cheese dip and a sweet mustard dip. Again, both these dips were excellent. They complimented the pretzel well. I especially enjoyed the sweet mustard one. So flavorful. And the prices were extremely cheap, compared to what other Pretzel places charge. Overall, this place is a must try when visiting the Amish. read more

Philadelphia may be known for soft pretzels, but nothing beats a fresh pretzel prepared in Lancaster County. Pretzels are freshly prepared, perfectly buttery without being over salted. Both the regular (traditional) and cinnamon sugar pretzels were a hit, uniquely tasty in their own way. The Amish girl at the counter was sweet and came outside within a few minutes to hand us the order once complete. Not sure why the Yelp listing states no credit cards, but they happily take credit cards here. It's a perfect snack to grab before or after shopping in one of the many adjacent shops. I checked this place out in early January 2023 with a friend, since we were driving through Amish country and wanted to try some local foods on a whim. I ordered a standard soft pretzel and my friend ordered a soft pretzel as well as a ham and cheese roll. We stood outside by the tables: I scarfed down my pretzel in mere minutes, and my friend enjoyed his ham and cheese roll so much that after he finished it, he ran back inside and ordered a second one! The pretzels are way better than Auntie Anne's or any of those big salty pretzels from Root's or Green Dragon. They have a very rich, buttery flavor of old school handmade soft pretzels, as opposed to those manufactured frozen ones. If you're out in Intercourse by the Kitchen Kettle shops, be sure to check this place out. It's really small inside, but it was never too crowded: my friend and I got our food almost immediately after payment. The eating area is out front with a few tables and chairs. read more

They make the pretzels fresh when you order so it's worth the 8 minute wait. They even let me custom my order to not include butter on top. I like mine plain. An essential Lancaster must do! They are "part" of the extended Kitchen Kettle Village area. They have their own building, and everything is made on site! The wife and I have been here 10 + times and always make it a mission of ours to come at least once if not 2-7 times on each trip! Its that good! We have tried about 20 different places that sell fresh pretzels in Lancaster, and they are all exactly the same. Im sorry to say it, but its true! They are all exactly the same... Same pretzel, same cheese.... Each place might have different specialty pretzels, but its all the same! That being said, they are still amazing! I usually get one at Central Market when I visit my mom's hometown, but since I was by Kitchen Kettle Village I decided to stop by Immergut instead. So glad I did! While you wait to order, you can watch them hand-rolling the pretzels right in front of you and putting them in the oven. A steady stream of customers had visited so when I ordered a regular pretzel, there weren't any ready, but she said it would be less than five minutes. Fine by me, because I got a piping-hot, fresh pretzel soon enough. I got a cup of mustard from next to the register and sat outside to eat my pretzel. It was fluffy, but slightly crisp on the outside, and oh-so buttery. In other words, this pretzel was perfect. Wow, Auntie Annie, step aside! This place puts mall pretzel shops to shame. There is nothing more alluring to me than pushing past a porchful of waiting people, standing in line, and finally after a brief wait on the porch myself.... receiving freshly made-as-you-order soft pretzel in whatever flavor I want. They have various flavors, but this time I stuck with plain, which was so perfectly buttery and lightly crisp on the outside, and just the right amount of soft chewiness on the inside. The touch of salt was enough to take me to heaven, if only for a while. I took some to go, but because they were hot when I got them and I didnt let it ventilate as I walked around, it did inevitably get soggy. I can't speak of the typical pricing as NYC has jacked up prices, but 1.75 no tax is always good and it seems like they have little specials everyday so today I was able to get a deliciously refreshing strawberry lemonade for 98 cents (small)!
