The Sugar Bowl was your basic American food type restaurant. It's good. I've only had a few things off their menu. I like their fries a lot! Their fried chicken wings are really good too; a little salty though. The people that work there are pretty friendly too. It is close to campus and they deliver which is great! Delicious! Yesterday was our first time ordering and you never know what you're going to get, but we were pleasantly surprised. I live on this block, so eating at Sugar Bowl is about as frequent as walking out the front door. I like SB because it's a small operation (albeit "franchised" since there are two locations), everything is made to order and for what you pay you definitely get your money's worth. Once you pop your head in twice in one week, you're part of the elite regulars-of-Sugar Bowl society and are frequently treated to a free drink here or a 10% discount there. The owners know how to run a business and please their customers, so even if it's not a 5-star fine-dining establishment, it seems to manage a pretty regular customer base who repeatedly leave delighted and full. read more

Nothing offensive. Nothing extraordinary. I went for the cheesesteak. Fine steak, fine amount, decent roll. Place is clean and service is nice (first time I've ever had a tip refused!). Again, nothing amazing. Looks like they're really trying to pull in the college crowd with all the fandm photos and sweaters on the walls. I recently ordered Sugar Bowl through a delivery app. This turned out to be a huge mistake and led to some absurd difficulties with the driver, and, to shorten a longer story, I had to drive down to grab my food. The guys in the restaurant, caught in the middle of this weird situation, were doing everything they could to ensure that I, the customer, had a good experience. The food was great (although I had to reheat it because of the previously alluded to problem) and their service was everything that it should have been. read more

Ok, this place used to be famous pizza, now its a sugar bowl franchise. Im not that impressed really. I was going to hype it up for having veggie burgers, but the pizza tasted like grocery store frozen pizza. Credit cards are accepted, but they charge extra for orders of less than 10$. Sugar Bowl is the schizzlebang. The pizza oh the pizza is so damn good. Light and fluffy crust and a nice light sweet sauce. I order the bacon and pineapple which has been deemed "Thee Lancastarian" by my roommate and I. The price is right and the apps are tasty treats. Even the grilled chicken caesar salada hits the spot. This is Sugar Bowl's second location, the original being in Millersville, PA near the university where I attended college. I have been a customer of Sugar Bowl for nearly 20 years. Anyone who knows will tell you their strombolis are fantastic, consistent between both locations, and sought after. Personally, I am partial to their cheesesteak/chicken cheesesteak strombolis which are flavorful and delicious. There is something unique about their dough and the way it crusts when it's baked that is highly appealing to me. The menu features mostly typical pizza shop items however being a Greek family run business they do offer some other items on their menu that are noteworthy including their baklava and chicken gyros. Service is always friendly and prompt. Prices are reasonable and they even feature daily specials which you can find on their website. Delivery is available to those within their service radius. The West Lemon Street location sits in a quiet neighborhood and always attracts locals. As I mentioned earlier, I have been a customer of Sugar Bowl for nearly 20 years and have never had a bad experience which speaks to their consistency and quality. read more
