We wandered into Thoze guys pizzeria after a long exhausting day at Dutch Wonderland. Great atmosphere of a neighborhood pizza joint. Informal feeling, which was great when we were walking in with three kids. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. Super authentic and hit the spot. The marinara sauce with the garlic knots was something I could drink out of a faucet. Also loved that they had individual slices available so we could try an assortment for the family. read more

This is my second (updated) review for this restaurant. We are not local, and we stumbled upon it about a year ago when we were in Lancaster. This time, while traveling, we drove out of our way just to pass through Lancaster and stay the night just so we could some genuine Brooklyn style pizza without having to go to the Big Apple. This time, like last time, it was some of the best pizzas I've had, and I'm sure it may be the best in Lancaster. It is true NY style (Brooklyn) pizza made by New Yorkers. The restaurantier is a NYC transplant, and he brought with him that NY pizza. Simply stated, it's awesome. All the staff is polite, cordial, and engaging. They don't waste any time in creating your meal and making you love every bite. They offer a rather extensive menu with good variety, but we have only tried the pizza, and we love it. read more

My husband and I decided to visit Vinny due to coming here last year and loving their steaks. This time we will NOT be back! It wasn't what we ORDERED! We ordered a chicken cheesesteak. The first bite of the steak you can tell it the cheese or meat was old. It had a bad smell and aftertaste to it. My husband's cheesecake had mayo on it. We DIDN'T select Mayo when we ordered. Where to start? Vinny and those guyz pizzeria, have never been there before. This is my first time walking in, and I was surprised by the atmosphere. It was very welcoming, slightly bougie I liked it a lot. The people were very nice. I was directed to the front desk for my mobile pick up order, a large cheese and a large meat lovers, including mozzarella sticks. Upon opening the box I was surprised because unlike the normal meats that pizza places use on their pizza, I was welcomed with what appeared to be natural fresh cut meats. Visited this wonderful Family establishment on Father's Day, watching the whole family work together was such a joy! So much so we chose to eat inside. Good pizza place. When you arrive, people meet you outside to take your order and it doesn't take super long to make either. We ordered two large pies one was cheese and the other was margartia. Both were yummy. Not the best pizza I have ever had, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I prefer a crisper crust but that is purely preference. This crust was also good. Visited several times since we are close. The last few times the cheese steak was extremely salty, sub rolls hard, pizza was over cooked/burnt. The last time the pizza was half cooked. Dough was soggy and chicken was half cooked as well. We returned the pizza and was told a refund would be issued. Had to go back a second time to get the refund. I've been going to Vinny's since I was 4 and he was in East Town Mall. They changed to Vinny's and "Thoze Guys" and I can immediately tell the place wasn't as clean and there were 3 people in the place, none of them I recognized. The changes have all been for the worse. The pizza's smaller, they charged me full price when it's Monday and you're supposed to get a large for 9.99 + tax for cash.
