From my 1st telephone call with the owner and the subsequent calls with the manager, the service was friendly, professional, and very accommodating! The food was on time, made with care, and absolutely mouth-watering delicious. As the Grandmom to be, I was thrilled that we decided to use Pie in the Sky for this event. I would highly recommend. I was up in Lancaster visiting my Girlfriends parents so we stopped in here to grab takeout. I had an Italian hoagie and we also grabbed an anti pasta salad. The inside is small but it was extremely clean and organized. There were several family members working that night and it was fun to see them argue. I'm not sure what language they were speaking but it reminded me of the pizza shops in Philly. The hoagie was pretty good but the salad wasn't that great. They put pickled veggies in with all the meat and they mix in the salad dressing. The veggies were horrible and they don't put too much lettuce in the salad. I read that this place has great New York style pizza so I'll grab one next time we are in the area and write an update to this review. read more

Pizza is all this writer needs. It's a pizza shop claiming NY style. First stop it. Nothing out here is close to any style from NY. The pizzas here trash. All fit on one hand. Service. Trash. When we visit our family in Lancaster, PA for the weekend we always require them to get takeout from Pie in the Sky at least once while we are there. The food is so comforting and always consistently prepared. We have never had a bad takeout experience. Our favorites are the chicken cheesesteak, buffalo chicken cheese steak, tuna sub, pepperoni and sausage pizza, lasagna and baked ziti. The lasagna and baked ziti are huge portions and so good. Very cheesy and we love the sauce. The bread and side salad are also very nice to make a complete meal. The sweet peppers and the fresh tomatoes on the salad have a good flavor profile. Food is always well packaged and well made. Service is always friendly and efficient. Sometimes it may take a few repeat calls to get through to place your order but then you know that you are ordering from a popular place. It is great to be able to support such a nice small business that has consistently good Italian food at a great price point. That is why we always make sure we stop by when we are in the area. New to living in Lancaster and have been looking for "our pizza place". Location is perfect for us, and the Sicilian is delicious!! Restaurant is clean and staff friendly. SADLY.... they offer delivery, but through Door Dash. When we had our favorite Sicilian delivered, a regular pie came in its place. Pie in the Sky didn't take responsibility, telling us it wasn't there fault we got the wrong pie.!!! We cringed are this! Very poor customer service. Customers should be told to pick up themselves if they want guarantee of getting the correct food....... not sure if we'll go back due to this back to our search..... read more

If you want great pizza from a family owned business with a small town vibe, this is your place! I live a bit away and have tons of pizza shops within the block, but my husband and I stopped here on the way home one evening to check it out. We were warmly greeted by the owner and his family. The restaurant is small, very bright and the cleanest pizzeria I have ever seen. We ordered a mushroom NY style pizza and cheese fries. The pizza was wonderful! It was hand tossed with a very dense and chewy crust (my favorite), the sauce was perfect and there was no skimping on the cheese. The second time we stopped, we picked up a Sicilian style pizza. It was HUGE and just as good as the other pizza. Lots of doughy, cheesy goodness. I was full after one slice (but went on to eat a second for good measure). The owner remembered us and it was only our second time there! I hope to try a cheesesteak sometime. Someone had one made while I was waiting for my pizza, and it looked and smelled awesome. The subs and steaks were huge. Check this place out! In my opinion, they have the best pizza in Bridgeport. read more

After a long day of shopping at the Tanger Outlet on a Sunday, I was craving Italian food for dinner. Trying to order takeout was unsuccessful as Olive Garden (not my first choice) estimated a 3 hour wait for pick-up, and my first choice- Luca was short staffed and only doing dine-in with no current availability! Out of desperation, I choose Pie in the Sky based on yelp reviews (mainly for pizza) and it far exceeded my expectations. I ordered the chicken alfredo dinner platter and it was the best I have ever had! Service was quick, it was ready in less than 20 mins and was piping hot, with a creamy, flavorful sauce that was oh so delectable. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the chicken was tender and juicy- grilled first which was nice as it added extra flavor. It was served with a generous portion of fresh warm bread. Their side tossed salad was equally fresh and complemented the meal perfectly. Days later, I am still basking in the afterglow of the perfect meal. Never have I been happier to find an alternative dining option, I can't wait to go back again to try their other offerings! read more

Pie in the Sky has definitely become one of my favorite places to get a pizza. It is absolutely fantastic. The pizza is very good and easily blows any of the pizza chains out of the water. Got the spaghetti dinner which came with a salad and bread. The bread was the best part. The salad was so-so and the spaghetti with meatsauce was extremely bland and the noodles overcooked. We were wandering around town last night, not sure of how to find some good local pizza, and we called these guys 5 minutes before closing.
