Late on July 14th 2026, I was the victim of a hit and run. I was on a scooter in the bike lane going about 10mph on Foothill Blvd. in Tujunga. Some idiot, about age 20, made an illegal u-turn and drove right into me with his SUV then immediately took off. Not only did I suffer a concussion and facial contusions, but he ran over my left foot breaking my heel. The early morning of the 15th, I went to the ER at Verdugo Hills USC and was treated amazingly by their doctors and nurses. After they performed an X-ray, it was determined that I had fractured the calcaneus bone, aka the heel. I also fractured my left knee cap. My PCP ordered another X-ray and an emergency referral to a podiatrist. A week after the 2nd X-ray, this time at Imaging Specialists of Burbank, the foot doctor looked at my 2nd X-ray images (the radiology report had not been completed yet) and confirmed my calcaneus was definitely broken and she ordered a CT of my foot to see if surgery would be necessary. I went back to Imaging Specialists of Burbank, this time for the CT of my left foot, and again saw the podiatrist a week later. She looked at the images from the CT and said that fortunately it was not a bad enough break to where I would need surgery, but that I should keep my weight off that foot and keep wearing a boot so it heals in 2-3 months. I had declined a cast because I live on a 3rd floor with no elevator. I couldn't and still can't put any weight on my foot. A short time after my CT, when the podiatrist had already seen the X-rays and the images from the CT, my Primary doctor got a weird letter from the radiologist at Imaging Specialist of Burbank, Dishant Shah. They claimed that the findings were normal and that I merely had arthritis. WHAT??!! It gets even better. The CT radiology report, done by Jack Berman, also claimed it was only mild arthritis. WTF?! So despite me STILL not being able to walk on my left heel, a whole month after an SUV ran over my foot, it's not an injury, it's merely mild arthritis according to Dishant Shaw MD and Jack Berman MD??? These radiologists are off their rockers and will completely misdiagnose your results. Don't waste your time visiting this clinic. I'm giving this 1 star only for the radiology/X-ray staff, who were professional, kind, and efficient. However, my experience with the front desk and billing department was extremely disappointing. * Front desk: very disorganized and unprofessional. I provided my insurance information at the time of visit, but it was not properly processed, and I was billed the full amount. * Billing department: extremely unhelpful. I called multiple times to resolve the issue. One representative was rude, raised his voice, and hung up on me after I questioned why I, as the patient, was being asked to fix an internal administrative error caused by incorrect handling of my insurance information. Overall, basic communication and accountability were lacking. I would not recommend this clinic due to poor administrative and billing practices. read more

My experience with scheduling was very disappointing. It was difficult to get an appointment, communication was poor, and the scheduling process was disorganized and frustrating. I expected a smoother experience, especially for a medical imaging center. I hope they improve their scheduling system and communication with patients in the future. My 78 year-old mother had an appointment scheduled here for an MRI and received multiple confirmation calls beforehand. On the day of the appointment, they even called again to verify details like metal items and confirm she was coming in. When we arrived and began filling out paperwork, we were suddenly told there was no authorization on file and that her appointment had to be rescheduled. My mother is in severe pain and it is very difficult for her to get around. Arranging transportation and bringing her in was not easy. The authorization should have been verified before confirming the appointment several times and asking an elderly patient to come in. This situation caused unnecessary stress and hardship for my mother. I hope the office reviews its scheduling and authorization process so other patients especially elderly patients in pain do not have to go through the same experience. read more

Had a great experience here. I'm not sure I would have recognized how great it was if I hadn't been to 5 other facilities in the last 12 months. Here are the two best things about my MRI experience that other highly rated facilities DIDN'T do, but SHOULD do. 1. I had an MRI with contrast. Other facilities treat this like a Ford factory line and when you enter you get an IV put in. Why?!? This place just directly injected the contrast when needed with no need for an uncomfortable IV line for hours. How is this not standard?! Now I'm livid at the other facilities as I realize they factory-modeled their process to work for them, and inconvenience the patient. 2. Part of my MRI also covered the brain, which requires a cage over your face. For obvious reasons, this isn't a great feeling. This is the ONLY facility that was thoughtful enough to not leave it on through the ENTIRE procedure, but instead paused for a second to remove it once it was no longer needed. This is also a HUGE benefit to the patient over their process. I'm so very grateful to this facility for caring about patients, which now I realize was an option at all the other facilities and they all failed the test. I will commute miles to this facility in the future should more imaging be required. read more

This was my first visit to this RadNet location. My appointment included two ultrasound exams, which were scheduled by their staff because the orders required additional time beyond what could be booked online. The front desk was pleasant, and the wait was reasonable. However, the first exam was completed in about three minutes, which immediately seemed unusual given that it typically takes closer to 30 minutes. As it turns out, the exam was not actually completed, and no report was generated. Additionally, during preparation for the second exam, the technician did not step out of the room while I removed clothing, which felt inconsistent with standard healthcare privacy practices. Ultimately, my doctor had to follow up to confirm the missing report, and I had to take additional time off work to return for the correct scan. I'm still unclear how such a significant oversight occurred. read more

I don't know why this place has terrible reviews. The young man who checked me in was very kind and helpful. My technician, Nela, was amazing. She walked me through my ultrasound and made me feel extremely comfortable. She was not only gentle but continued to ensure that I was okay throughout the procedure. Had an appointment today at 10:15 A.M. I arrived early as requested. Sitting in the car park in front of the office in my vehicle when I received a call from the Imaging Centre cancelling my appointment. Being a senior citizen in my late 70's and the cost of Petrol being so high, this was an expense I couldn't afford. This is absolutely unacceptable, not to have the courtesy to call earlier to inform me that the technician had called off before I left my flat. Not only that, one cannot schedule an appointment via phone, but has to schedule it online, which is absolutely not user-friendly for older people and thoroughly frustrating. Terrible!!!!!!! Avoid this place if you can. My mother has a problem with her veins and she was there for an MRI with contrast, so we asked them not to poke her in the arm but directly in the hand. We couldn't get in with her, she barely speak English. We asked them that if they couldn't find the vein, to cancel the mri and we would go to the hospital to do it because she really has a problem. She got in and the guy was very rude to my mother, she told him to please go directly to the hand and he said he found a good vein in the arm, and of course he couldn't do it and ended up poking her several times in the arm and then went to the hand, poking her another three times and going very deep, so painful and without warning her he was going in. Now we are at an urgent care with my mom all bruised and with liquid in her hand and arm. Terrible, rude, no apology or explanation through the process and then at the end my mom felt dizzy and nobody helped her walking her out. We are formally complaining at BBB of course and if she develops an infection or a complication we will contact a lawyer. We are beyond upset!!!! We have pictures from the moment we left, a few hours after and today that she has like infected hand!! We tried talking to someone and conveniently they don't have a costumer service or formal complaint department, but we will make sure they hear from us. read more

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the repeated issues I've experienced with your office between May 15 and May 19, 2025. This situation has not only wasted my time and money but has also shown a serious lack of professionalism and care for patients. I originally scheduled my father's appointment nearly a month in advance for the Burbank location. However, while trying to register online, I noticed the appointment was mistakenly listed under Northridge. I showed up at the Olive location on Thursday, 5/15 at 7:40 AM, where I was met with unprofessional behavior at the front desk. "Samantha" was seated in the back (not at the reception desk), not wearing a name badge, and only acknowledged me after I approached her. She printed out the appointment information and highlighted that it was scheduled for Northridge at 8:00 AM without offering any support, such as fitting us in as a walk-in, rescheduling, or even showing empathy. It's basic common sense that we wouldn't be able to make it to Northridge by 8:00 AM while standing in your office at 7:40 AM. I then called Northridge, where a very helpful representative rescheduled my father for Friday, 5/16 at 1:50 PM at the Riverside/Burbank location. However, when we arrived for that appointment, we waited 15-20 minutes only to be told that the technician wasn't there. When I asked why no one called us ahead of time, the front desk person said, "She didn't catch it." As a result, we were rescheduled yet again -- this time for Monday, 5/19 at the Olive location. This entire situation could have been prevented if someone had simply taken the time to verify the correct location, show basic courtesy, and communicate effectively. Instead, we experienced: Poor communication Multiple scheduling errors No notification of cancellation No accountability at the front desk A complete disregard for patient time and care At this point, we've wasted several days, made unnecessary travel, and experienced avoidable stress -- all due to a clear lack of coordination and patient service. You need to prevent situations like this in the future and what steps will be taken to ensure your staff are trained in proper communication and customer service. This entire experience could have been avoided if anyone had shown basic human decency and effort. Patient care means helping people and you have completely failed at that!!! read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. After several confirmations for an appointment and having a pre-registration done I arrived to the office 30 minutes early, they requested 20, only to have to wait an hour and 20 minutes and counting to have my daughter seen for an x-ray. The pre-registration is pointless since the insurance was not verified ahead of time they tried to charge me a co-pay higher than that was Necessary. I question it, the first time told yes they did so I asked her to double check the insurance and suddenly the copay dropped by $60. She did not in fact check it. This place is a joke!!! We had to come back after paying $450 out of pocket because the initial images were not legible and blacked out. We arrived at 6:30 pm to retake and were told the machine "just went down". And when I asked if I can go to another location they said I need to do the retakes at the same location. When someone comes in and I greet them good morning no response is very disappointing with my brother is disabled. People with wheelchairs etc they been turned around because is availability they say, so answer the phone and make people the appointments they need in the first place instead of wasting time and energy. I was lied to when I made an appointment for an MRI. I specifically asked 3 times if MRI was an open /sit down, NOT lie down MRI. They said yes. My doctor specified I needed this. They told my doctor they had it. They told me they had it I didn't find out they lied about this until I walked into the room for the MRI. The technician told me they always do this. I now get to wait until I can get an appointment somewhere else, while I suffer in pain for a diagnosis. Horrible people. read more

I've come here twice in my 36 years and have no complaints. Speaking to a live person over the phone wasn't too complicated. The office wait time on the day of my appointment was about 20 minutes. I went in for an MRI (my first, hopefully last) and the specialists were very friendly and kind. I had to spend 25 minutes in the actual machine. It got hot, and they gave me some time to rest before going back in! They explained that I couldn't move but I could just take a breather in my position. Overall, nice experience! read more

Nobody answers a phone. You can't get an appointment. The technicians are very nice but the front desk is a total nightmare.

The front desk ladies are terrible! They are unprofessional and rude. This is supposed to be a walk in place but as soon you get in there they want to make you an appointment because they are already "booked" for the day, and when you go back there with your appointment anyways you need to wait for more than 40 minutes. Also at the time of your appointment make sure you check what you need to get done, because the ladies at the front desk are not doing a good job. Very bad experience! I also spoke with the manager and hopefully things can get better and have more qualified people at the front desk, they need to remember that they are dealing with patients that are having health issues. I've been here a couple times for x-rays, and getting IN is generally not a problem. They get me in on time, take the images quickly, and I'm good to go. It's getting OUT that's an issue. You have to wait forever to get the CD and report to give your doctor. That part of the process is highly disorganized, and they could seemingly benefit from a good office manager. read more

This is the worst place for the MRI. My wife had to wait seven weeks for her MRI that doctor wanted to be done within a week. She had askl doctor several times to resubmitt the prescription as the Imaging office misplaced it. The appointment was reschedule four times. When finally my wife came to the appointment, the nurse was not able to take her blood and appointment had to be rescheduled. Everything she was coming to the appointment, she had to fill out the same paperwork because the original on was not " in the system" Stay away from this Imaging Center at all cost. read more

I suffer from Agoraphobia, and I have a hard time leaving my apartment. My doctor referred me to this place to get X-rays for my scoliosis, so I called in advance to find out a quiet "safe" time for me to get my X-rays done. The woman on the phone claimed that I can just walk in any time in the morning. I don't have a car and have limited medication monthly to leave my apartment to complete appointments, and necessities. Online it showed that they opened at 8:30, yet they were already open at 8:15. People are already there. Fortunately it was quiet. I walk up to the front desk, and the lady tells me "The next walk in is at 1:10pm." Do you know the difference between an appointment, and a walk in? Are these receptionists properly educated? I teach virtually, and was busy at that time, so I ask for the next available time. 3:15 in the afternoon. I ask her if it's busy, as I'm already panicking at the thought, and she ignores me. I asked her. TWICE. Nothing. She hands me a paper confirming the supposed "walk in," so I said "Stop. I asked you a question. Is it busy or not?" She says it's fully booked. THEN WHY SAY YOU HAVE WALK INS? This place needs help. I'm evidently going somewhere else. read more

Terrible scheduling. I needed an MRI of my spine and had to get x rays of my eyes and approval for another device. They were completely incompetent. First, they scheduled my xrays 10 minutes before the MRI and told me they contacted the cardiologist and my loop recorder was approved. After my xrays they said they couldn't get a radiologist to read it and I needed to reschedule. They rescheduled me at a different location, when I arrived, they said the xrays were fine and I was ready to go. Once I got outside the MRI room, the tech told me they didn't have the loop recorder on file. Prior to scheduling me the first time, they said they contacted the cardiologist. I would never go here. You won't be safe because they have no idea what they are doing and there is no communication. It's actually pretty scary. I asked for a refund and am now looking for a new location to get the MRI. read more

I have called continuously for the last 3 days to get in touch with someone about a cancelled MRI appointment. Voicemails and call back left. Apparently they just cancel appointments because they don't have a doctor available to do contrast. They also don't bother to reschedule your appointments and you have to go through the hassle of trying to reschedule your own procedure and get new referrals, when that's not your job that's theirs. Super unprofessional and extremely dissatisfied. Thank you for making a difficult time more difficult. read more
