Here are the two best things about my MRI experience that other highly rated facilities DIDN'T do, but SHOULD do. 1. I had an MRI with contrast. Other facilities treat this like a Ford factory line and when you enter you get an IV put in. Why?!? This place just directly injected the contrast when needed with no need for an uncomfortable IV line for hours. How is this not standard?! Now I'm livid at the other facilities as I realize they factory-modeled their process to work for them, and inconvenience the patient. 2. Part of my MRI also covered the brain, which requires a cage over your face. For obvious reasons, this isn't a great feeling. This is the ONLY facility that was thoughtful enough to not leave it on through the ENTIRE procedure, but instead paused for a second to remove it once it was no longer needed. This is also a HUGE benefit to the patient over their process. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm so very grateful to this facility for caring about patients, which now I realize was an option at all the other facilities and they all failed the test.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will commute miles to this facility in the future should more imaging be required. read more

Don't waste your time visiting this clinic. I'm giving this 1 star only for the radiology/X-ray staff, who were professional, kind, and efficient. However, my experience with the front desk and billing department was extremely disappointing. * [[HIGHLIGHT]]Front desk: very disorganized and unprofessional. As it turns out, the exam was not actually completed, and no report was generated. Additionally, during preparation for the second exam, the technician did not step out of the room while I removed clothing, which felt inconsistent with standard healthcare privacy practices. On the day of the appointment, they even called again to verify details like metal items and confirm she was coming in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When we arrived and began filling out paperwork, we were suddenly told there was no authorization on file and that her appointment had to be rescheduled. My mother is in severe pain and it is very difficult for her to get around. Arranging transportation and bringing her in was not easy. The authorization should have been verified before confirming the appointment several times and asking an elderly patient to come in. This situation caused unnecessary stress and hardship for my mother. I hope the office reviews its scheduling and authorization process so other patients especially elderly patients in pain do not have to go through the same experience. read more

Terrible!!!!!!! Avoid this place if you can. My mother has a problem with her veins and she was there for an MRI with contrast, so we asked them not to poke her in the arm but directly in the hand. We couldn't get in with her, she barely speak English. We asked them that if they couldn't find the vein, to cancel the mri and we would go to the hospital to do it because she really has a problem. She got in and the guy was very rude to my mother, she told him to please go directly to the hand and he said he found a good vein in the arm, and of course he couldn't do it and ended up poking her several times in the arm and then went to the hand, poking her another three times and going very deep, so painful and without warning her he was going in. Now we are at an urgent care with my mom all bruised and with liquid in her hand and arm. Terrible, rude, no apology or explanation through the process and then at the end my mom felt dizzy and nobody helped her walking her out. We are formally complaining at BBB of course and if she develops an infection or a complication we will contact a lawyer. We are beyond upset!!!! We have pictures from the moment we left, a few hours after and today that she has like infected hand!! This situation has not only wasted my time and money but has also shown a serious lack of professionalism and care for patients. I originally scheduled my father's appointment nearly a month in advance for the Burbank location. However, while trying to register online, I noticed the appointment was mistakenly listed under Northridge. I showed up at the Olive location on Thursday, 5/15 at 7:40 AM, where I was met with unprofessional behavior at the front desk. "Samantha" was seated in the back (not at the reception desk), not wearing a name badge, and only acknowledged me after I approached her. She printed out the appointment information and highlighted that it was scheduled for Northridge at 8:00 AM without offering any support, such as fitting us in as a walk-in, rescheduling, or even showing empathy. It's basic common sense that we wouldn't be able to make it to Northridge by 8:00 AM while standing in your office at 7:40 AM. I then called Northridge, where a very helpful representative rescheduled my father for Friday, 5/16 at 1:50 PM at the Riverside/Burbank location. However, when we arrived for that appointment, we waited 15-20 minutes only to be told that the technician wasn't there. When I asked why no one called us ahead of time, the front desk person said, "She didn't catch it." As a result, we were rescheduled yet again -- this time for Monday, 5/19 at the Olive location. This entire situation could have been prevented if someone had simply taken the time to verify the correct location, show basic courtesy, and communicate effectively. Instead, we experienced: Poor communication Multiple scheduling errors No notification of cancellation No accountability at the front desk A complete disregard for patient time and care At this point, we've wasted several days, made unnecessary travel, and experienced avoidable stress -- all due to a clear lack of coordination and patient service. You need to prevent situations like this in the future and what steps will be taken to ensure your staff are trained in proper communication and customer service. I've come here twice in my 36 years and have no complaints. Speaking to a live person over the phone wasn't too complicated. The office wait time on the day of my appointment was about 20 minutes. I went in for an MRI (my first, hopefully last) and the specialists were very friendly and kind. I had to spend 25 minutes in the actual machine. It got hot, and they gave me some time to rest before going back in! They explained that I couldn't move but I could just take a breather in my position. Overall, nice experience! read more

I was lied to when I made an appointment for an MRI. I specifically asked 3 times if MRI was an open /sit down, NOT lie down MRI. They said yes. My doctor specified I needed this. They told my doctor they had it. They told me they had it I didn't find out they lied about this until I walked into the room for the MRI. The technician told me they always do this. The front desk ladies are terrible! They are unprofessional and rude. This is supposed to be a walk in place but as soon you get in there they want to make you an appointment because they are already "booked" for the day, and when you go back there with your appointment anyways you need to wait for more than 40 minutes. Also at the time of your appointment make sure you check what you need to get done, because the ladies at the front desk are not doing a good job. Very bad experience! I also spoke with the manager and hopefully things can get better and have more qualified people at the front desk, they need to remember that they are dealing with patients that are having health issues. I've been here a couple times for x-rays, and getting IN is generally not a problem. They get me in on time, take the images quickly, and I'm good to go. It's getting OUT that's an issue. You have to wait forever to get the CD and report to give your doctor. That part of the process is highly disorganized, and they could seemingly benefit from a good office manager. read more

This is the worst place for the MRI. My wife had to wait seven weeks for her MRI that doctor wanted to be done within a week. She had askl doctor several times to resubmitt the prescription as the Imaging office misplaced it. The appointment was reschedule four times. When finally my wife came to the appointment, the nurse was not able to take her blood and appointment had to be rescheduled. Everything she was coming to the appointment, she had to fill out the same paperwork because the original on was not " in the system" Stay away from this Imaging Center at all cost. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First, they scheduled my xrays 10 minutes before the MRI and told me they contacted the cardiologist and my loop recorder was approved.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After my xrays they said they couldn't get a radiologist to read it and I needed to reschedule. They rescheduled me at a different location, when I arrived, they said the xrays were fine and I was ready to go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once I got outside the MRI room, the tech told me they didn't have the loop recorder on file.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prior to scheduling me the first time, they said they contacted the cardiologist. I would never go here. You won't be safe because they have no idea what they are doing and there is no communication. It's actually pretty scary. I asked for a refund and am now looking for a new location to get the MRI. read more

I suffer from Agoraphobia, and I have a hard time leaving my apartment. My doctor referred me to this place to get X-rays for my scoliosis, so I called in advance to find out a quiet "safe" time for me to get my X-rays done. The woman on the phone claimed that I can just walk in any time in the morning. I don't have a car and have limited medication monthly to leave my apartment to complete appointments, and necessities. Online it showed that they opened at 8:30, yet they were already open at 8:15. People are already there. Fortunately it was quiet. I walk up to the front desk, and the lady tells me "The next walk in is at 1:10pm." Do you know the difference between an appointment, and a walk in? Are these receptionists properly educated? I teach virtually, and was busy at that time, so I ask for the next available time. 3:15 in the afternoon. I ask her if it's busy, as I'm already panicking at the thought, and she ignores me. I asked her. TWICE. Nothing. She hands me a paper confirming the supposed "walk in," so I said "Stop. I asked you a question. Is it busy or not?" She says it's fully booked. THEN WHY SAY YOU HAVE WALK INS? This place needs help. I'm evidently going somewhere else. read more

When booking the appointment for my Mother, I asked MULTIPLE times if this was an open MRI and I was assured it was and could fit a plus size person. When we arrived the front desk staff were scrolling through Instagram and didn't seem to care about assisting. I visited recently for a chest X-ray since it's close to my house. At first, I was actually excited that the line wasn't too long, and I thought I'd be in and out quickly for my upcoming surgery. But then things took a turn. I witnessed a receptionist with black and blonde hair holding someone's personal belongings, including a clipboard with patient cards. I didn't think much of it at first, but then she started frantically looking around the lobby. Next thing I know, she walks up to the front desk from the patient side and starts yelling at another receptionist about where her patient went. It was super uncomfortable to watch. The girl on the receiving end looked confused, and the patient she was helping seemed really uneasy. The yelling receptionist kept screaming about what the man looked like and demanding to know what happened to him. This whole situation felt so wrong. First, how could she hold onto a patient's stuff long enough for that person to leave? What was she doing? And second, yelling at your coworker in front of patients? Not cool at all. I ended up feeling so uncomfortable that I left and went to urgent care for my X-ray instead. If a place can't keep personal information safe and can't act professionally, I wouldn't trust them with my health, especially when it comes to radiation! I really hope they can sort out these issues because it's not a good look for a medical office. read more

I have called continuously for the last 3 days to get in touch with someone about a cancelled MRI appointment. Voicemails and call back left. Apparently they just cancel appointments because they don't have a doctor available to do contrast. They also don't bother to reschedule your appointments and you have to go through the hassle of trying to reschedule your own procedure and get new referrals, when that's not your job that's theirs. When calling to make an appointment, I was told my appointment was at 12:10pm, and was told to drink 2 full bottles of water for the procedure I was getting done. Personally, in my experience with this procedure, having done it several times in the past, I know I am not supposed to drink water prior to the appointment, and asked the call center to kindly double check the special instructions, but they insisted I have to drink water before arriving. I got a reminder text message 10 days, 3 days, and 1 day before my appointment, reminding me of the 12:10pm appt time. I arrived to the clinic at 12:00pm to ensure I was not late, and confirmed my appt time with the front desk. The front desk checked me in and gave me paperwork to sign, where it clearly stated that for this procedure I was getting done, I should not have drank water and must have an empty bladder. I confirmed this with the receptionist but it seemed she did not care at all that I was misinformed by the call center about the special instructions prior to the appt. I sat in the dirty waiting room overflowing with people and old worn chairs. After waiting until 12:40pm, I was losing my patience and went to check with the receptionist on the status of being called in. The receptionist looked at me angrily and said with attitude that my appt is at 1:00pm!! I showed her the several text message confirmations and reminders I received clearly stating my 12:10 appt time but all she could tell me was that it was a glitch and that it must have been an appt reminder that is automatically sent by the call centers 20 minutes prior to your appt, but this does not make sense bc I would have been sent the text at 12:40pm which I was not, it was a complete disregard of my time and patience. And while checking in at 12:00pm for my 12:10pm appt which I verbally said to the front desk, there was ZERO mention that my appt is actually at 1:00pm. The extreme attitude and rudeness that came from the receptionists there was unbelievable. After I began to insist what they did was wrong, they finally called me in 50 minutes after my confirmed appt time. Not only does the call center fail to coordinate with the clinic, the front desk is not aware of any special instructions regarding the specific tests patients get done. Despite this, the ultrasound tech was very kind and calmed me down. I have been to other imaging clinics in Burbank and never have had such a negative experience. Very disappointed. read more
