Clearly they could have found something to do. After getting my prints and a few other things I needed to purchase I went to the front registers where I was clearly skipped by an employee who checked out several people who were behind me. I had to walk all the way back to the printing location where I again saw the same three employees still standing around doing nothing. A new one had shown up with a poor attitude couldn't tell if I should have addressed as "Sir" or "Ma'am".... either way, the red head was a jerk. I was highly annoyed with the poor service today. Hopefully this crew won't be around too much longer. Employees can make or break a business.... just saying - they suck!!!

I needed to buy ink for my ink jet printer at home to print out slides for school. I came in and met Omer, he told me laser printers are better. It can print up 300+ per ink jet and you can refill them not keep buying cartridges. I wasn't aware of the difference. He's so right!!! I ended up buying a laser printer and it's cost less to buy ink for it! How helpful! This is the only place I take my cartridges for refills!

From start to finish, it took 25 minutes just to get her to 'accept' the package and print me a confirmation receipt. 25 minutes of her sour attitude and her hating the world. It is now 2/9/2024 and my package is MIA. There is no record that FedEx even received. I called the Office Max store only to be told by some guy that it wasn't their issue. The package wasn't in their store any longer so it is on FedEx. This place is trash-if you don't want to lose your packages and want someone to give you good customer service-go across I20 and go the real FedEx store....I have learned my lesson.

I walked straight to the service desk and stood there for about 15 minutes. The associate working the desk -- name started with C -- never greeted me, never looked up, nothing. He then started calling names and helped two people who walked in after me. When I calmly asked why those customers were helped first, he asked if I signed in. I had no idea a sign-in was required -- no one mentioned it on my previous two visits. A simple greeting would have been the perfect opportunity to let me know. I addressed his rudeness directly and walked out. Management needs to invest in basic customer service training. Every person who walks through that door deserves to be acknowledged -- and for the record, coupons and discounts don't change bad behavior. Period.

I brought in two books to have spiral binding added, which I have had done successfully at Office…read moreDepot multiple times before, including at this location and another Fort Worth location. The employee assisting me, Chandler, questioned whether I would have an issue with words being cut off, which immediately concerned me because this had never been an issue before. I explained that I was concerned about that, and he stated he would "do his best." I also questioned the quoted price because I normally pay around six dollars. He stated the normal price would supposedly be over $90, but after checking, confirmed the lower amount and I prepaid. When I returned, I discovered the employee had already torn the front and back covers off my book and was attempting to cut into the middle of it with what appeared to be a razor. He then asked if I minded him cutting the middle of the book. I was confused and uncomfortable but reluctantly agreed because I assumed he knew what he was doing. He then proceeded toward the guillotine cutter when the manager, Zackary, stopped him and stated the book should not be cut. At that point, I was informed the book was "too thick" to spiral bind. Had I been told that from the beginning, there would have been no issue. Instead, my book was damaged unnecessarily. What upset me even more was when I questioned the damage to my book, I was asked whether it "wasn't already like that" when I came in. It absolutely was not. The covers had been removed by your employee. I was then told, "At least you got your refund." While I did receive a refund, that does not replace the damage done to my property or the poor treatment I experienced. I left the store extremely upset because I felt dismissed and disrespected. I would appreciate a response regarding this incident and how Office Depot plans to address both the damage to my books and the handling of this situation.
