I continued the treatment, and after 6-7 sessions I have experienced about a 70-80% hair reduction on the treatment areas. My friends have also tried laser hair removal, but it hasn't worked for them. So this means the type of laser equipment being used is crucial and Denude Med's actually works! First impression of the building is that it's old and it's in the heart of Annandale, inside is very dated as well. The spa is located on the 2nd floor and has a very corky decor. The lady was signed me up was named Parisa and seemed a bit cold when she gave me the form to fill. After waiting another 20 minutes, I was called in, the room was clean but small. She explained the process and answered all my questions. She asked me to laser a small part of my leg to see how I react. Let me tell you it was terrible. The machine would suck my skin gently and shot heat as it let it go. My leg was burning the entire day. She did apply tea tree oil on the spot. If you ever had a feeling of your skin burning that's how it felt all day. Not sure what machine they sure but from what I remember it was Lumise or something similar. I won't be going to this place just coz it didn't feel like the right laser to me. I have seen over laser machines. Btw $200 for the whole body but all that burning feeling for a whole day or night is not worth it to me.

My mom and I walked in to see their April specials and asked questions about the Vibraderm for my skin (23 y.o.). Gro the main esthetician, took us on a mini field trip around the office along testing out the machine that would be used on my skin since I was a bit uneasy if this would hurt. Truth be told, when I came in 2 weeks later for my appointment I was radiating and didn't hurt a single bit! Vibraderm removes your dead skin and resurfaces your new skin leaving it radiant and glowy as the days pass. Gro did a great job prepping and cleaning my face prior to using different pad applicators on my skin. She then placed a tingling serum that would go 2 layers deeper to penetrate deep into my pores to clean and refresh. She also was nice enough to remove these bumps near my eyes that were just pockets of fat. Towards the end of the facial, they again add a serum that adds a moisture and vitamins to the face. I'm actually going back for another personalized facial but this time I'm going to try a more deeper clean to remove any stubborn acne and add a nice glow again. I love how greatly my facial skin has improved through their treatments! The entire team is fantastic but Gro is my favorite. Her vibe, her energy and passion is something I've never come across. I went in and the space is pretty much divided by a curtain. It's a single room/office. Almost decorated like an Asian Auntie's home. I didn't get to check if the door was locked but she didn't closer the curtain when we got started (no one else was in there tho) so if anyone walked in they'd see everything lol. She knew what she was doing and was very thorough, sugared and then tweezed. It was a very clean job and I was impressed, considering some poor or subpar experiences I've been having w sugaring in the NoVA area. I may return if I was closer but it's like a 30min drive for me so I'm not absolutely convinced to wanna make the drive. I'd recc to anyone who doesn't mind the no/frills look.
