My hair is thick and straight and hard to cut, so I'm very picky. I regularly go to Vivian or Kelly, but others such as Tiffany or Jenny has cut my hair and I fully trust that they do great job every single time. I get there and was told to wait, then someone else ends up cutting my hair. He was clearly very inexperienced. I asked for long on top, and a very common skin fade. He gave me an awful fade and it was still long on the sides and told me that's what a skin fade was. He also cut inches off my top when I asked him to keep the top long. When I pointed out that the top there was nothing I could do as it was already cut but asked him to go shorter on the sides, he complained and acted as if I was asking to much of him. The end result turned into a short on top, not faded in cut that somewhat resembled a skin fade...the worst part about the experience was the guy cutting my hair CLEARLY talking about me in a different language to the guys around him because I was ask him something, he would nod then start talking to the guys around him. One of the worst hair cuts I've ever gotten, and more disappointed with the customer service. It seemed like it was a chore for him to cut my hair the way I asked for it.

It turned out perfectly! I also told him I wanted a low maintenance perm that would not require me to blow dry or do anything extra. I just put in a little product when it's damp and it dries perfectly. His prices are also reasonable. I've been to much higher end salons that charge twice as much with similar results.
