Image Plus operates on bad vibes, not deadlines -- or honesty. I discussed my project with Desiree two months in advance and was repeatedly assured it wouldn't be a problem. We were shown beautiful sample prints, so we trusted Desiree with the full order. We submitted all photos on January 5, needing the project by January 9. They said "no problem" -- 2-3 business days, easy. Friday January 9 was... interesting: Desiree promised we could pick up at 4:30 PM, then 5:30 PM, then 7:30 PM. When none of that happened, we were told it would be done Saturday January 10. On Saturday afternoon, we were told everything was "looking good" and would be delivered to my husband later that day. At 3:30 PM, we were told they were not continuing the order at all. Out of 5,000 photos, they printed maybe 300, and the quality was terrible -- which is wild considering the samples we were shown looked amazing. When we went to pick those few prints up, they were left on the ground outside with the door locked. Phone calls after the missed Friday deadline were not returned. The refund was easy. The honesty was not. The constant reassurance that things were "on track" cost us the chance to find another printer and ruined a time-sensitive gift. If you enjoy anxiety, false hope, and moving deadlines, this place might be for you. Otherwise, run. After the order was cancelled, they shifted blame onto us rather than taking responsibility for their repeated missed deadlines and broken promises. This pattern of giving false reassurance and then denying accountability is exactly the kind of behavior people should be aware of before trusting this company with their time-sensitive projects. read more

If meeting deadlines matters to you, this is not the company to use. The biggest problem was communication. We were consistently told everything was on track, only to find out after the deadline that there were unresolved issues the entire time. The delay was not caused by the problem itself, but by the failure to inform us when it could have been fixed. We followed the file submission instructions exactly as provided. Any additional technical requirements were never explained. When the issues finally came to light, there was no time left to correct them or pursue another option. Responsibility was then shifted onto us, which was frustrating and unfair. Due to poor communication and lack of accountability, our project did not get completed as promised. read more

If you have a hard deadline, do not use this company. If you value clear communication, do not use this company. I had 5000 photos I needed printed. They told me they could do it in 2-3 days so long as the photos were 4x6 and pdf. They made no other specifications on what the files should look like. I sent the photos on a Monday and told them I needed them by Friday. They said that would be no problem. I asked for updates a couple times throughout the week, and I was continuously assured that the project was underway and on track. However, on Friday, they called us a few hours before we were supposed to pick up and told us they weren't ready, and told us to come later. They then called again and said the same thing. Eventually, they stopped responding to calls and text messages. We drove over there at 8:30pm, because we had been assured someone was working on the project despite it being after hours, but all of the lights were off in the building. We heard from them late on Friday and they once again assured us that the project was underway and that we could pick them up the next day, a Saturday. While I was somewhat impressed that they were sending someone in to work on an off day so they could finish our project, I soon came to realize that that all was pointless bull anyway. Because on Wednesday they had evidently encountered some issues with the files. However, they chose not to disclose those issues and continued to assure us everything was "looking good," all through the week and into the weekend. Eventually on Saturday, we were told that they were not going to continue with the project. They had only printed about 300-400 photos. When we went to pickup what they had finished, they had set them in a box outside the door and locked the door. Now, I understand the issues they were having. However, I do not understand why those issues were not communicated when they arose. Had we been told on Wednesday that they were having some issues with the files, we could have figured out how to get the photos by the deadline, whether it was fixing the files for imageplus or going somewhere else. Instead, we were lied to and my project was all but ruined. The people at this company blamed us for the issues with the files, and continue to offload the blame for their poor communication onto us. Again, I understand the issues they had, but I do not print photos for a living, I do not instinctively know the exact specifications of what the pdf files should look like. I understand their system had issues because the orientation was not the same across all photos, but communicate those issues! I understand some of the files were too large, but you cannot continuously tell me that everything is fine rather than communicate those issues! Communication would've saved us a lot of stress and tears over a ruined project. Save yourself, go somewhere else. EDIT: To the man responding, I am the person who prepared and sent the photos. I did have direct involvement. Like I said, I understand the issues you were having. However, you are wrong in claiming you gave clear instructions. You did not. I know, because I was the one using those instructions to prepare the photos. THE ENTIRE POINT OF THIS IS ABOUT THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION. THAT RUINED MY PROJECT.
