Despite that, I was spoken to in a condescending way and over explained something as simple as making a payment, which felt unnecessary and disrespectful. Regarding my aligners, I was unhappy with the initial results and paid an additional $310 to receive more sets. I was given seven aligners and told that was all my teeth needed to be straight. After completing the seventh set, one of my teeth still had a visible gap. I am now being asked to pay another $310, when this could have been avoided if the correct number of aligners had been provided from the beginning. Overall, the professionalism has been disappointing. Staff are warm and patient with children and older adults, yet blunt and dismissive toward me. It feels as though I am brushed aside rather than treated as a paying adult patient. On top of this, appointment wait times are excessive. It is common to wait 15 to 30 minutes past a scheduled appointment time, even when arriving on time. I'm also having to wait over 15 minutes just to make a simple payment of 10 dollars. this should've been something that took 5 minutes.

They do seem to stand by caring for their patients completely, and it seems like my experience was simply an anomaly. -------------------- I truly wanted to have a positive experience with this practice, but unfortunately, I've had several disappointing interactions that I feel are important to share--both as a fair warning to others and in hopes that the practice may be open to resolving the concerns. 1. Lack of transparency and follow-up on payment information -- I've requested copies of the payment forms I signed eight times (once in person, multiple times by email, phone, and voicemail). Despite this, I've still not received any documentation or clear communication around fees--for orthodontic and dental work. 2. Delayed and dismissive handling of records -- After my initial visit with Dr. To, I waited nearly two weeks for answers to my follow up questions, and then decided to request my dental records so I could transition to a new provider. When I followed up today, I was asked to "be patient and wait a few weeks." This felt dismissive, especially given I am in pain and actively seeking timely care. Given the premium pricing and the promise of a holistic, patient-centered approach, I expected a higher level of service, compassion, and professionalism. Instead, I left feeling disregarded, disappointed, and disheartened. If the practice is open to making this right, I would be willing to discuss further. In the meantime, I hope this helps others make informed decisions about their care.
