Takes a lot for me to review on one side or another. I am happy to say that this one is on the excellent side. Lord knows how long I have feared and avoided the dentist. After the last couple of cleaning visits with Tyn(I believe is her name. My apologies if I got it wrong) I never felt so comfortable and told her it was because of her consistent service and communication through the process. I had relocated to Richmond from Fort Worth. Previously, I would drive all the way up to Fort Worth to see my dentist, because I had poor experiences in the Houston area. I recalled times when I had to find a new dentist annually in the Houston area due to trust issues or lack of professionalism. A good friend of mine referred me to Highline Dental. I came in this week for my routine checkup and cleaning. I had an exceptional experience overall. Dr. Albert, Jessica, Ishal and Leanna were all friendly, professional and genuine. Jessica and Inshal were my dental hygienists and they were big on patient education. They provided explanation each step of the way, which puts me at greater ease. Jessica was very gentle and thorough when cleaning my teeth and took into consideration my sensitive teeth and TMJ related issues. Dr. Albert is very detailed in his examination and makes recommendations that addresses all my concerns and preferences. I am grateful that I've found a great dental team here instead of going up to Fort Worth every six months. Extra Pro that I appreciated very much: 1. Advanced x-ray technology and it even plays music while it scans for any signs of cancer. 2. Extremely clean office. The dental hygienist and Dr. Albert all exercise good asceptic technique. My daughter needed a checkup after moving to this area and we found Dr. Albert at Highline dental. Upon calling the office, they were able to set me up with an appointment rather quickly. The staff is amazing and everything was super efficient. They sent me a link to my mobile phone and I was able to fill out all the new patient forms before the appointment. No one likes having to sit in a waiting room with a clipboard before being seen by the dr so this was a huge plus! They even gave me a confirmation letting me know what to expect, what procedures would be done and approximately how long the appt would be. The office is super clean and beautifully set up. Theres a fridge stocked with waters and LaCroixs (classy). The staff is happy and knowledgeable. Dr Albert knows his stuff and is not pushy. He made sure my daughter understood everything she needed to do to keep her teeth healthy. She confirmed our appointments and was very welcoming when we entered. The waiting area is gorgeous and spacious with lots of modern accents. I love that they provide an entertainment area with a television and iPads which kept my aunt entertained while I was getting my cleaning. + Dentist: Dr. Albert was very thorough and professional. I loved that he took the time to explain everything very slowly to my aunt to make sure she understood what he was doing for her. Sometimes you don't know what you've got until it's gone. **But sometimes you don't know what you're missing until you get it!** This is the case with the visit with Dr. Kim. Most other dentists complete their routine exams, provide a quote, and/or send you off to a periodontist for an evaluation without an explanation. He was kind, professional, and provided concise information. The visit was not ever rushed and no question was too silly. A thorough discussion was held detailing options for extracting a tooth with bone loss (dentures, bridge, or implant vs not doing anything, etc and pros and cons of each). Today I had my first appointment at Highline Dental, and had the most positive experience ever! From the moment I walked in the receptionist was so helpful checking me in, and I barely waited in the waiting area. Side note: scheduling this appointment was so easy by phone followed by the email for electronic registration with step by step instructions. The person setting up my appointment was very respectful over the phone and even got a date set for the same week! Back to the waiting area, I love that coffee and refreshments were available (even though I refrained since I was going to get my teeth checked)! The wall decor and modern look to the place made me feel like they really cared about trying to make their patients feel comfortable even before they see the professionals. Aesthetics help! I was then greeted by Laura (sooooo sweet!!!) who walked me calmly through imaging with these new state of the art machines that I have never seen before. They even play music while you close your eyes! After more imaging while in my assigned room/chair (mounted TVs are in every room to kind of keep your focus away from the work/keep you entertained...loved this), I finally got to meet Dr. Kim!!! His bedside manners are so professional and personal at the same time, and I really appreciate this kind of relationship and service from providers! Dr. Kim went in-depth with going over my scans, plan of action for the appointment and beyond, and also what my third party benefits covered. I can tell he is a perfectionist and a master of his craft by the way he handled my dental care, gently going over everything so thoroughly. With my provided sunglasses on and eyes shut, I felt zero discomfort with Dr. Kim and Laura doing their superb work! After the work was done, the receptionist helped schedule my next follow-up with zero issues and even included a nice goodie bag (dental related of course).
