Tooth extraction with no insurance was like $274 and Natalie at the front was able to get me the $20 a month insurance that took 35%. You can cancel it after 30 days! So they told me that I couldn't get my teeth cleaned because I'm not doing the x-rays so my understanding is they want to do x-rays to get more money out of me because let's say they did find something wrong with something on the x-rays they would still have to have my permission to proceed to go forward to whatever they found. So if I told them no, I don't wanna do anything whatever they found they would say OK and they would clean my teeth so there's really no point on taking the x-rays if I don't proceeded to go forward with whatever they would find and don't forget I don't have any problems so why are you forcing me to do x-rays because they need or want more money. It's sad because they always have excuse saying all they don't wanna lose their license or blah, blah blah, even though the contracted paperwork at the beginning that we signed saying that we can't do anything, even if they broke a tool in our mouth. It's just bothers me that these corporations use these tactics to manipulate us into spending more money in reality it doesn't benefit us. And it's sad because I love this place but once you start adding more stuff just to get money out of my pockets when I've been going here for probably 5-6 years and never had a issue. they need to listen to their clients and their patients more than whatever they're trying to push on us, because at the end of the day we were the ones that pay their bills. To fix my bite. I was sent to a chiropractor for a massage. Then after teeth cleaning, i was told i needed a sonogram in order to see what needed to be done. Another 250. Then i was told that it would cost 60,000.00 to fix my alignment in my jaw. I might have felt better if he had said take your sonogram . Perhaps i could take it to another dentist. He said my partial was lose on one tooth so no good, can't take it off and would have to be replaced. The staff was wonderful, and the dentist s were seemingly good, but the cost was freaking crazy high! The place is amazing, so if you have a ton of money i guess it would be great, but for me, retired teacher, the experience was embarrassing to say the least. I even said can you give me another alternative, like not the Lexis version, but maybe the Toyota version that cost less. But no! I left feeling yucky, like do i mortgage my house for my teeth? Lol not at 72! Just to be clear, my negative review was all about price and how different it was like call backs on information or for appointment s after I questioned if we could do a less expensive route. After having a pretty gnarly accident with a broken tooth, I made an appointment for an evaluation and they were able to get me in same day. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Their office was clean, welcoming, and felt very relaxing. I have some awful past experiences with other dentists/procedures, so a welcoming staff/office on first impression was very important to me. They quickly were able to identify my issues, and they referred me to a specialist for another issue. Their reference was fabulous. They also explained (in-depth) what I needed done, what my options were, and what the financials would be. I came back a week later for my tooth extraction, and I was even MORE impressed this time. I was very, very terrified of having a tooth removed--I was having difficulties remaining calm. The hygenist was AMAZING. She kept reassuring me, explaining what the dentist was doing, and helped me stay relaxed (even when I was literally crying and shaking). The dentist did a great job, as well, by remaining calm/kind and explaining his steps. After my procedure was over, the staff did an amazing job making me feel taken care of, including providing everything I need to care for myself after the procedure. I hadn't been to the dentist in about a year, but I take really good care of my teeth. Dr. Hu told me that I had 8 cavities and explained everything very rudely. When you hear you have a cavity, the reaction and explanation I'd hope to have is someone saying - we will get this taken care of, here's some preventative measures to take. Instead, I got rude comments about it and I felt very uncomfortable. Not to mention, the Dental Hygienist asked me questions the entire time during my cleaning about my diet, if my mom is prone to cavities, if I eat sugary food and drinks, etc. I felt like I couldn't catch a break. I will say, the Dental Assistant, Natalia is amazing. She's very kind and funny, and genuinely cared about me and made sure I wasn't in any pain during the X-Ray's. Overall, this is not a dentist I will be going back to.

I was having a bad toothache along with jaw pain (I feared that one of my tooth needed to be pulled…read moreand/or was infected/inflamed somehow). Went to my general dentist on Tuesday (11/28/23 at 12pm) who confirmed everything I thought and they referred me to this office (per my dentist I needed a emergent tooth extraction done). I called this office same day around 2:30pm or so, and long story short I was booked for a emergent tooth extraction 2 days later on Thursday. Pre-oral surgery: Now I am hella nervous (I'm typically with doctor's appointments but dentist's appointments I'm freaking out. Something about any type of metal tool item in my mouth that does it for me). Anywho, I was instructions of what to do via text message (I.e no eating/drinking 8 hours before the timeframe and to bring along another driver over the age of 18) and all instructions followed to a "T". During: On, Thursday 11/30/23; I arrived for my appointment at 10:30am for 11:00am appointment to be on the safe side. Insurance was verified and paperwork signed. Dr. Michael went over everything in about 10 minutes, and the doctor explained it would be localized rather than general anesthesia. I said okay, and I was in the surgery room for like 30 minutes; localized anesthesia given, expected cracking of the tooth occurred, doctored irrigated the area to cleansed the wound of infection, viola the area was sutured and I was done (all under an 1 hour. Honestly fastest and pain free appointment ever. I was shocked). After: the pain is minimal and just taking the doctor's orders if alternating between Tynelol and Ibuprofen. P.S. the customer service was awesome. I can really tell the staff and the doctor cares. Doctor actually checked up on me, the day after and I was like so surprised (what doctor does that, besides a PCP perhaps??? This doctor has very good bedside manner). They gained a client like forever, but I did tell them that hopefully I won't need their tooth extracting services anytime soon cause I like my natural teeth. I will however be back for a dental implant. Verdict: 5/5 stars. I honestly have no complaints. Coke here, if you need a very good oral surgeon.
