This was the second time I have made an appointment in this place for a pedicure and the second time I received a serious rush job. I was given a sheet to pick my pedicure but was told I could not have my selection because they didn't have time to do it. I had to specify I needed more time when I called. We weren't asked when the appointment was made. My friend who was getting her toes done at the same time had her nails totally completed in less than 15 minutes. Mine last 30 minutes (the Deluxe). When I noticed they didn't put a top coat on my friend's toes, I was snapped at very curtly. I didn't feel pampered just rushed. I'd rather pay more for true deluxe service. The facility was very clean and the owner seemed nice. Just be prepared to be treated quickly and brusquely. read more

I hadn't had a pedicure in months, wanted to treat myself so stopped in. The pedicure was lacking, from filing and shaping my toenails like fingernails, rather than straight across.. to too speedy of a massage. I was told to set for 10 minutes for polish to dry, which I did. After that time the polish was still wet. I requested a pair of their thin flips seeing the polish was wet. The tech took my card to charge me $2 for their flip flops, to which the other girls told her machine was already off for the day. They asked for cash, I said I didn't have cash or coin in the amount of $2. They wanted them back. I did end up leaving with them on my feet, after some back and forth and me asking why they want them back at that point when they had been on my feet and would need to be thrown away. Went for the first time to get a pedicure and a manicure and my nail technician did a wonderful job on both. Regretfully I missed placed the card that had her name on it or else I'd recommend her. I recently went in for another shellac manicure and had a different tech this time. Overall I'd say my second time the nails weren't as perfect as the first time but I think it had to do more with the consistency of the gel top coat than the quality of the technician. Prices are pretty standard and the salon itself is clean and nicely decorated and everyone is friendly. I personally enjoy the travel channel display they have, it's like a mini escape. I don't get any nail art but from what I can tell they have the talent to accommodate your artistic desires. Maybe sometime down the line I'll get more adventurous. OH MAN - I was hoping for the best, but... So after reading the reviews, I decided to focus on the good and not the bad. AND, once stepping into the salon, I was feeling pretty good about myself. Things shifted and went "downhill" once the salon started getting busy. CAVEAT: I called and made an appointment 18 minutes before I arrived. I wanted a pedicure and manicure (which I normally don't get). SERVICE: The person greeting patrons was VERY friendly and genuinely so. The person doing my nails was polite, but as time went on, she raced through my manicure and I was none-too-pleased. PEDICURE: Oddly, when I sat down, she was ready to do a pedicure...then I asked for the menu to order the correct pedi. My selection was the Deluxe which is a 45 minute pedicure. So if my appointment was at 1100 am, then it should reasonably end at 1145-ish, right? MANICURE: The salonist said she was not certain if there was time for the manicure. This was not divulged when I called, but she then did my manicure while I was seated in the pedicure chair. I am NOT a fan of this because you have to turn your torso to the side with the armrest so it is awkward. I also do not prefer nail polish, so she asked if I wanted her to buff my nails for a natural shine. THAT is exactly what I wanted, but not what I got. In the end, my nails were rough on the nail surface and also tip. It was to the point that she tried to clean them up, but I ended up doing it myself. IN BETWEEN: They asked if I could sit in my seat for an additional 5 minutes so that my nails could dry. 10 minutes later, I was getting antsy. 15 minutes later, I began to remove the nail separators and was told someone would help. [Honestly, it's not a big deal to put on my own flip-flops.]. I had to be in the salon an additional 25 minutes because of that and a computer issue. CASHOUT: I explained that I was not happy with the manicure. They agreed to lower the price after squabbling. Then, then charged me for the more expensive pedicure (60 minutes) which I did not ask for. After inspecting the salon menu, I found that she did the additional service, but I didn't notice because I was looking at the clock (pedicure done at 1145 am) and not the actual process. OVERALL: This could be a matter of them squeezing me in so that the salon would not lose business. I will say that they remedied my grievance by adjusting the price, but in the end, that should not have happened because I should have gotten what I asked for. So I am disappointed and have learned my lesson...heed the bad reviews. They're there for a reason! #Bummers read more

All of the nail techs are true artists. I've had acrylics for 5 years and have been searching ever since for a perfect nail salon, and this is it. I have never once left disappointed. Not only did I ask the girl multiple times to please file the nails down as they were looking very thick but she continuously ignored my request. I asked so nicely as I know they do their best to meet request. My nails are so bumpy, such a bad nail job. In the end I really did not like the way my nails turned out and she just kept arguing back-and-forth that I never asked her to change them And that I never voice that I didn't like them. I have been getting my nails done here for a few years now and they always do a good job. I should preface this by saying I am one of those people who doesn't speak up if I don't get what I want I just deal with it and try to fix it myself. Every time I go and I ask for either French or hombre coffin shape nail and I show a picture and I usually get something pretty close to it but never exactly what I wanted. And this is not their fault like I said I am the one who does not speak up. And please don't get me wrong they always have a job it's never been exactly what the photo look like or what I asked for. But today... My nails came out perfect! I have been through so many different salons in the last 20 years and never once have I been as happy as I am today! This place had really good reviews on yelp and I was excited to try it as it's interior is beautiful. However I was not impressed by the quality of my nails. I asked for a schellac manicure and for one nail to be fixed with acrylic as it had cracked. The guy doing my nails put the acrylic on and then didn't let it set and cut my nail with a clipper. It shattered the acrylic and he had to do it again (another 30 minutes of sitting there). Then, he painted them with schellac and I didn't think the polish was dry but I figured he knew best since it's his job. It was not dry and now two days later the edges of my nails have begun to leak super smelly wet gel polish. Two of them have peeled off in two days and the one acrylic one cracked the day I got them done. I am overall disappointed and frustrated that I paid $33 to get my nails done for 12 hours before they were all ruined. read more

I have been to this nail salon for an "Ultimate Pedicure" three times. The first time it was decent, the second time terrible... so we decided to give it one more shot yesterday. We will not be back, and suggest you don't go either. Pros: - clean & nice decor - decent massage chairs Cons - they do a terrible job painting toenails... streaks, missing polish on the sides, leaving polish on your skin and cuticles (Regardless of if you get shellac or regular polish) - the "massage" and "scrub" is more like a half-assed stroking of your skin - no calluses grated off. They just use a quick buffer. - Rude and inattentive staff. E.g. When I gently pointed out the spots that they missed with polish, and the crooked nail cut, I got an eye roll, muttering under her breath... and still walked out with strips of nails without shellac. E.g. on our previous visit, when my friend asked if they could cool the water and hot towels a bit, the male employee doing her pedicure said "Why do you even come for pedicures if you don't like this stuff?" T is the nail super hero in my book! I have lived in the area of 47 years of my life and have been getting my nails done in the area for at least 20 years. I did spread out to Portland for a while because I have had such a hard time finding a nail tech that will just do what I ask them to do. I have a hard time speaking up if I don't like The final product. For some reason I just figure... I have showed the nail tech a picture of what I want and I trust her to do the rest. And to sound that might be expecting a lot but to me I figure if you can't copy a picture then you need more practice. Of course I'll tell them if I want acrylic or solar or whatever but on the whole I just want the shapes and colors in the picture. I don't ask for designs I may ask for a little sparkle here and there. But the past two times I have seen T she has perfectly duplicated the picture I showed her. I the lash salon I tried before T literally gave me a Dipset after I told them I did not wanna Dipset because I could do that at home and they were terrible and they fell off within the week. I would've been better off getting gluons. As you can see my nails are longer and not only am I a server but I'm also into building and working on my car and getting dirty and carrying heavy stuff I am not easy on my nails at all. And my entire set lasted three weeks I had two pointer nails break off but they broke off perfectly right where my natural nail begin with very little pain. The rest of the nails after three weeks are still looking amazing and holding strong. Not only does she take the time to make sure it's perfect but she goes over it with a fine tooth comb afterwards. Tonight I was the last client in the salon and at no point did she make me feel like she was rushed or tired or upset that I was there so late. I actually came up with the idea of using another stations nail dryer at the same time to speed things up. And then when we were all done and my nails were looking beautiful. When the music was off and her coworker was standing there with her purse on her shoulder... She started her over analyzing my pointer finger. I was ready to go to me they are perfection and I could tell her friend was ready to go to and I don't blame her... But T wanted to make sure that every single meal was perfect. I still don't even know what was wrong with the nail but I guess there is a teeny bit of something somewhere. I have dealt with so many bad experiences over the last couple years at Nail Salon's. Either the nails pop off right away, or they up charge me because my cuticles are too long, or they make fun of me because I have not manicured my hands or my hands are tore up from working. And the one good that I did get cost me over $100 which to me, someone who's been getting their nails done for 20 years, things is absolutely outrageous! And a few of them still came off within two weeks. Her prices are reasonable... So reasonable that I leave her at least $20 and she deserves every penny of it. I hate writing this review because even while I was at the nail salon I heard multiple people call and make appointments with her and I don't want her to get too popular for me to even get in with.
