Joined in Feb 2018 and I'll be honest: I was SORE for days after my first class. I used muscles that I hadn't used in a long time. Also I learned during the first class that I couldn't even do 1 regular push-up. But I kept going and one day told myself when I could do 5 push-ups I'd treat myself to red boxing gloves. So as I went I got stronger and stronger and after 6 weeks I owned the red gloves. The classes are an hour and go pretty fast. The 15 min is a warmup which is harder than any workout I had done previously. The next part is the bags and you end with partner exercises. This is THE FRIENDLIEST gym I have ever been too. I feel like I'm part of a family. They keep the place spotless too. And most importantly: it's totally shaped me in ways that other types of workouts hasn't. You will not get bored for sure! I wish o would have started sooner. That's my only regret. read more

I don't recommend this gym, they are tricking people on social media into thinking they might be getting a 6week challenge transformation and once you go in they give you a reason as to why you are not chosen for the free challenge but you can still sign up... Now, I don't live in Florida full time, I'm only in Florida a couple months out of the year. I got an ad on Instagram while I was there for the 6week transformation challenge so I reached out and went in for a consultation with the manager and ended up signing up for what I thought was the 6weeks program. In this program it included a "nutrition plan" that ended up just being one page with what I should eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a page that looked like was put together in 5minutes and printed out. The class itself was great, the trainer was awesome but I ended up not going for the full 6weeks because I got sick that month and was ok with losing the money since it was not their fault I got sick. Well, it turned out that they kept my credit card on file and have been charging me $169/month ever since for a membership I never signed up for. I have reached out to the manager and she never replied to my last message. I feel scammed and they are not conducting good business practice. I do not recommend. read more

Beware of free challenges and free class. Once they get your money, you won't get it back. They took $75 for a class and reassured me that if I didn't like I could get my money back, no matter what. That was not the case, I took the class and didn't like it. Didn't like kickboxing. When I tried to get my money back since I took only 1 class, they gave me the run around, after contacting the person in charge of the studio, didn't get any call back. I had to show up to ask for my money and they gave the round around. I sent 2 emails, finally someone answered that I won't get my money back. Run from this place, it is crowded, hot, and small for the amount of students. I did t like it. I was also concerned about cleanliness of the mats, some of the students were sweating profusely. No vaccine status neither. Save your money read more

My wife started at I love kickboxing a month and a half ago. I started a few weeks ago. We are both averaging 2lbs weight loss per week and 1% BMI reduction per week. The classes and instructors are absolutely fantastic. An hour workout flys by and I can't wait to go back the next day. read more

I had just moved down the street when this place opened up. Seasoned cardio kickboxer, they convinced me to buy a 25 class package. After 5 classes I couldn't do it anymore. The sound system, with them on the mic, is so loud it hurts your brain. I work in a club and can usually handle it...nough said about that. Next, they make u converse with other members. What's ur favorite child hood carnival ride, color, pet, annoying. When I work out, esp when paying top dollar, i appreciate being left alone and leave me to get in the zone. I signed up for hundreds of dollars to work out if, if i wanted to meet my neighbors I'd go to the YMCA. Last but not least, i injured myself while actually kickboxing at another gym, sent my Drs notes to them for a refund. You know I never got any refund of any sort. read more

A great place for a kickass workout. I love the coaches here, they motivate you to work hard and sweat.

Why do ilovekickboxing? 8 months later and I lost 15 pounds. Kickboxing is a great all around body workout and the coaches helped me to reach my goal. Their classes are energetic and I like that they take the time to teach the techniques as well. They challenge me to be fit and strong. The best overall workout! Thank you ilovekickboxing read more

I went there today after filing out a form on Instagram for a 6 weeks free fitness challenge. FREE SIX WEEKS!!! My daughter and I filled out the form and was "chosen" to attend. We were scheduled to come in this morning at 10:30, we showed up and was given a speech and intro to the gym. Filled out forms, was weighed in and even explained how we'd receive a nutrition meal plan pdf that included several bonus including exercises to do at home. Told all this wonderful information then told to get all of this FREE including the 6 week challenge I needed to either pay $500 up front ... which would be refunded at the end of the six weeks or I could pay the $149 monthly membership fee. So how is this FREE??? I was so excited to get healthy!! It took a lot for me to put myself out there and do all of this with my daughter to find out it was all AN ABSOLUTE LIE!!! The oldest trick in the book!!! I wasted my life, I moved my schedule around to attend this because I thought for sure it was a sign to get healthy. Why else would I be CHOSEN TO PARTICIPATE IN A SIX WEEK FREE FITNESS CHALLENGE!!! Nothing was for free and that should've been listed in the advertisement at the very least on the phone. This gym is a FRAUD!! The games they play to bring people into their gym is manipulative to say the least. I'm beyond disappointed and disgusted. Don't waste your time with this deceptive gym. If this false advertisement isn't against the law, it should be!!! They advertise a free six week challenge which is a SCAM to get you in the door. It's $500 which I actually don't mind but be upfront instead of wasting people's time. They refuse to answer questions unless you physically come in because they know they have SHADY SALES methods. No thank you! read more

I love my kickboxing family/Team. All the trainers have their own personality. Which makes every class unique and fun. But they all share one common goal and that's to kick our butts in class.... in a good sweaty way. Anyone looking for a fully mind body n soul change should definitely join!! read more

On a whim, Ibought a Groupon for ILKB and I fell in love at the initial class. I signed up that night and have been attending 3-4 classes a week since then!! ILKB-Pompano Beach is AWESOME! I used to be quite athletic. Years pass, and you do what you do. Then sometimes you realize you need to get to another chapter. They don't just make you finish what chapter you're on, they get you to the end and start another another! The staff is FAN-TASTIC! I'm def a FAN. You're treated as family and you may even meet some. I have. Great people! One of the best experiences of my later life. That's how they do things. They want you to be the best you can while providing a focused, energetic, and feel good about yourself experience. And the place is clean as a whistle! Its a place you want to be. More than a few times a week! True student, real review! read more

They quickly lock you in a contract without explaining anything to you. Class was fun but way overpriced!!! Would love out of this contract. I'm not able to make it because of my work schedule. Really like the class instructors they are awesome. read more

This gym has the potential to have 5 stars from me HOWEVER my biggest pet peeve is trainers who stay on their phone during the class. I come to ILKB for the motivation from trainers to keep pushing. If you are on your phone the whole time, and not engaging with the class, I might as well go to the gym and work out by myself for a fraction of the price. read more

I had never done kickboxing before, yet I wanted to try it out! This place has me looking forward to each class! They keep you engaged and sweating! The classes are fun and the people are awesome. After I had my first child in November of last year, I ate whatever I wanted when breastfeeding. After I stopped breastfeeding, I gained a bunch of extra weight from not changing my eating habits and became the heaviest I've ever been. I joined ILKB Pompano back in May and started out slow, only taking 2-3 classes a week. After some time and dedication to the September 20 in 26 challenge (you have to take 20 classes in 26 days), I can say I am on class 15 with 5 days left to go, down 12lbs and 3" off my waist and feel so good! I can wear clothes that I would never think of wearing in the past and feel confident and comfortable in my own skin, and have gained a renewed sense of self confidence! I couldn't and still wouldn't dream of doing this without the amazing guidance, knowledge and support of all the amazing coaches at this location. Paige, Coco, Andrea, Marco, Thad, and CT are the best!!! They are all so inspiring, friendly, and uplifting. We all have a great time working out and they make everyone feel welcome. When I go to class I feel like I'm at my home away from home. These people and the rest of the members are like family. I find myself excited to go to class every day. If you want a great workout (you will sweat. A LOT.), great atmosphere, good music, and amazing coaches who work with you one on one, this is definitely the place for you! They also run specials for trial classes with free gloves if you are unsure, so come check it out!!!! read more
