We also called the phone number they provided, but no one answered. If you advertise a 5-minute grace period, customers should actually be allowed to enter during those 5 minutes. Otherwise, that policy is misleading. We paid for the class and were unable to attend simply because no one would open the door or answer the phone. Very frustrating and unprofessional experience.

My instructor recommended SQLPT as a good place for me to learn the fundamentals, and I'm glad she did. The class is still a challenge for me, but I like that I can focus on learning the exercises properly and getting the most out of each one. I really hope they keep the Monday morning all-levels class because I'd definitely take more!

There was a good amount of parking and some street parking, all of which is paid for, but the first hour is free which is perfect for taking a class. The studio is a bit small and the class was packed, but there was just enough room for everyone to have their own space to move around. There are numbers on the floor throughout the studio for spacing which is great. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at this studio and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good workout in this area.

After having some life changing events and stomach issues I stopped going for two years and resumed 5-7 days a week when gyms reopened during Covid at another studio in town. I couldn't understand why I was struggling in classes with things that I had never struggled with before and I continued to keep getting weaker even after taking 100 classes. Finally, after being told that weights would no longer be allowed at the studio I was going to I canceled my membership and I took the plunge and signed up online for 3 months of unlimited classes at Laura's. I had never even seen the studio but her training was impressive and I was determined to get back in shape. At that point I was the heaviest I've ever been in my life, I had constant back pain after classes at the studio I had been going to and I couldn't even do a full teaser anymore so I had nothing to lose. I signed up for the Thursday 10:30 Triple A class because I saw weights in the picture on Instagram. When I arrived I realized I was in no shape to take this class. Everyone of all different ages was in amazing shape. I decided I couldn't just leave so I tried my best but everyone at the class ended up being very supportive especially Laura! I felt like it was ok to work at my own pace and Laura confirmed that. After that class I tried to go as many days a week as I possibly could. We did Pilates exercises I've never tried before and within a month I was feeling better and seeing results finally!! It still amazes me how the classes never get boring and are always challenging. I've gone down 3 clothing sizes and lost several pounds and I feel great! My back doesn't hurt anymore and I can do a full teaser again. I'm still an unlimited member and I try to take at least 5 classes a week. If you want to get in this best shape of your life this is where you belong. Definitely try a class!

After the class, one of the instructors was a bit pushy about getting me to sign up, but they reassured me that it was easy to cancel or freeze the membership at any time. Based on that and the convenience, I signed up for the unlimited membership, which came out to $173. That's where things went downhill. On my second visit, I instantly regretted signing up. I didn't realize that the workout would involve spending 15 minutes at a dog park. It was also extremely hot - I'm talking over 110°, and there was no working AC, no proper ventilation, and barely any fans. It made working out feel unsafe and miserable. By my third workout, I was growing more frustrated. Again, we spent a chunk of time at the dog park, and this time, a dog actually peed on the floor. I know many CrossFit-style gyms struggle with cleanliness, but adding dogs into the mix makes things significantly worse. At one point, I even saw a dog poop on a rope - and all they did was pick it up. No disinfectant, no cleaning - just left it. The entire gym smells like a kennel. Hygiene-wise, it's a disaster. My final visit sealed the deal. One of the instructors seemed irritated that my daughter was with me and made comments about not knowing what music he could play because she was there. Throughout the workout, he was rude and clearly didn't want us there. I understand not everyone clicks with everyone, but when you're paying that much money, the least you expect is professionalism. You don't have to like everyone - but at least act like you care. The heat was unbearable again - no AC, no airflow. I had to stop midway through to drag a fan across the gym just to keep my daughter from overheating. I kept checking to see if she wanted to go home. That shouldn't be happening in any gym environment. What made things worse is that I didn't even ask for a refund - just a cancellation. They gave me a hard time about that too and then charged me for another full month. I only went to four sessions total - and one was the free trial. That's over $170 for just three extremely disappointing and uncomfortable workouts. This place seems like it's struggling to stay afloat, and now I fully understand why. Between the extreme heat, poor cleanliness, awkward dog involvement, and rude staff, it was a complete waste of money. I would not recommend Aspire Sports Lab to anyone - especially if you value hygiene, professional coaching, or basic comfort while working out.

I joined about a year ago when I moved to the Oakland Park area and was looking for my new gym home. Sean, Vic and the other coaches were super welcoming and made me feel included right away. Sean (owner and head coach) makes sure to keep the workouts and training constantly varied so we don't get bored. The only reason w redo the same workouts it's to test our abilities to make sure we're improving. The Aspire coaches are very mindful of prior injuries and have so much patience for all of their members varied abilities. During quarantine Coach Sean made sure to send out a daily email with positive quotes to keep us motivated with the daily workout that included videos of how to do all the movements. We also had live weekly Zoom workouts and happy hour calls to keep in touch with our awesome little community. Since returning to the gym post quarantine, the classes are much smaller and everyone is ensuring that they sanitize all equipment appropriately. If you're debating returning to your packed globo gym and are looking for a smaller more intimate fun experience, look no further. Highly recommend Aspire Sports Lab for all of your fitness needs!
