I joined here about 4 months ago. As a former crossfit person, I didn't know if I'd find a gym that felt like home. I wanted a workout that was challenging enough to satisfy the fitness junkie in me but paced enough that I wouldn't burn out. I was jumping back into a structured workout regiment after 3 years away from a group fitness setting so it was important that everyone was welcoming. I could not have asked for a better group of trainers and gym goers as well. Everyone is really nice, friendly and encouraging. And I always get a good workout here. You can book classes through their app, which is really easy to download and use. Unlike other places (looking at you OrangeTheory), you get some grace with canceling if necessary. Of course, they don't encourage cancellations but they do offer some grace if it happens so you can keep the sessions you pay for. Also, you can text the trainers to let them know what's going on and they actually answer. Things to know: The music is great but it varies from trainer to trainer. Love hip hop? Take Stephanie's classes. Love Latin-inspired music? Damian is your dude. Prefer a rock/hip hop mix? Then Chris is your man. They are obsessive about cleanliness. This is one of the main reasons I feel comfortable coming here. They are really on the ball as far as cleanliness goes. That's a plus at this point. Each class is taught by a trainer who cares about you getting the best workout possible. Seriously. You don't have to worry about only one person being good while everyone else is mediocre. They all bring something unique and care immensely about their students. I could go on but really I have found a great way to workout and a new gym home! I always love trying new workouts when traveling! I usually get my workouts in at Vault Fitness when back home in Boca Raton, but their Tuesday morning schedule didn't really appeal to me. I read the reviews for IntensityX3 and decided to check it out since I always love a good kickboxing class. Since it was my first time there I had to take a 25 minute new members class with Ivy. There was one other newbie boxer in attendance and she went thru some of the punches and kicks she would be calling out in the 50 minute class that followed. While I've boxed before it was super helpful since there were a lot of different punches and kicks in the actual class. The 50 minute class was packed and clearly with many regulars. Ivy taught this as well and the first half of the class was kickboxing. She took us thru many high energy routines - it was fun and we broke a sweat! The second half of the class was all butt/legs. It was a great combo of cardio and strength and I left bummed that i was headed back to Chicago later that day since I wanted to go again. I"ll definitely be back next time I head home to South Florida! The studio itself isn't easy to find! They are located in the back of the Office Depot plaza, although the other side of Office Depot. Turn left before the Public Storage Building and look for the black awning. I had trouble, but called them and they stayed on the phone with me giving me solid directions. The only thing I didn't love was doing this workout barefoot, which they claim is better for your feet. I prefer to workout in shoes, especially when kicking backs and working with heavy weights. Perhaps it's just something I need to get used to, but everything else was solid! read more

This is one incredibly awesome gym. Tons of classes, as early as 5:30am and as late as 7:30pm. My favs are those half kickboxing half strength training classes. Instructors are ALL knowledgeable, encouraging, and fun!!! Their app is easy to use, you can book classes in advance and cancel within allowable time. The East location (Spanish River and US1) is great too. That location has shower and lockers, so making getting ready for work a breeze. Highly highly recommended!!! read more

I have been at IX3 for about a year and it is the hardest most fun workouts possible. Every single trainer and instructor at the gym is fantastic, energetic, and creative. Every 50 minute class is a bit different, and always works different muscles. It is total body fitness, and I am in better shape than I have ever been. It is a bit more expensive than a typical gym, but for me, the motivation and community has been beyond what I could have possibly expected. Even if another gym is cheaper it doesn't matter if you don't want to go. The enjoyment and community pull you back. I won't lie, the workouts are hard but it fits every level. I am exhausted completely after every workout. It is such a great stress relief as well. The benefits are remarkable. It is an amazing place with amazing people, and I couldn't imagine a better gym. read more

Allan and his wife are amazing ! They have the dedication and care to become so knowledgeable in their business not only for themselves, but also for people that want to learn how to get in shape and live a healthier lifestyle. they even send out email tips of healthy eating and recipes. My gf and I from work found ix3 fitness off a Groupon. We were going at the 6am class and I really enjoyed it. I am not much of a morning person but the class was fun and sometimes crowded which I wish was smaller at times but that just goes to show you they know what they're doing and kicking a$$ in doing so because they have a full class. The kickboxing was a lot of fun too ! I think the instructors name was Chris. He was really nice and took the time to explain to each person individually what they were doing wrong or how to do a move better. It's not an ordinary gym or circuit training. Chris actually took the time and sent out a personal text inviting me for a class after my week was up. Not only does that show a business ethic of wanting people to come back but it's so much more personal than a " I miss you" email blast That I've received from other companies. I would've liked to continue on but I was pregnant at the time and the class times were not working with my Work schedule. Since then, I've noticed they added some additional times for classes which is awesome. I want to highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Allan is so knowledgeable when it comes to eating, training, how the muscles break down and what needs to be done to get the results you want. His wife was working out at 8 months pregnant too ! Not only are these people business owners, but they are genuinely nice down to earth people trying to spread their love for fitness to people who want the same for themselves. They encourage you and want you to push yourself to what you can. Not like other places that sometimes make you feel like a loser because you can't do everything at full throttle and keep up with everyone. Garrin Evan's review is BS. Be happy with your lousy busy body garbage but leave a truthful review besides the music was too loud for this awesome place. It's loud for a reason. To get you motivated especially for the early morning classes and to wake you and feel alive. bpm And the loud music makes you want to strive that do that one last push up you maybe thought you couldn't do or one last squat or burpee. Since when do you want to be in a gym that doesn't have the music to get you motivated ! I'd hate to see what's on his playlist for gym workouts ! I've moved south and wish they were local so I could go back because I've had my baby and looking for a place as caring and energetic as ix3 fitness and their family. Absolutely love this gym!!! Started at iX3 about a year ago, and I was a little intimidated at first. I wasn't in the best shape. All the trainers are amazing and helped me modify certain moves I found difficult to do and kept me motivated. Before I knew it I was keeping up with everyone else. I especially enjoy the hot kickboxing classes. It's a great stress reliever and I feel great after every class. I love my results! I've tried several gyms and just hated the atmosphere. Dirty machines, broken machines, waiting, smelly, etc... Then I would just stop going. I drive 25 mins just to go to iX3 and will continue driving here. Definitely worth the drive. OVERVIEW: I went to this gym while I was living in Boca and I loved it. I hate gyms but love learning new things so this was the best fit for me. I had never went to often and looked forward to working out before. PRICE: They offer $30 for first six classes to be used in two weeks and 20% discount with student ID on classes after that trial period. The price is $120 per month with one year subscription or $170 for month-to-month. They will automatically charge you month-to-month unless you tell them ahead that you are finished. CLASSES: The teacher (trainer) has 30 mins with you in the beginning one-on-one in a private room to make sure you know how to punch and kick effectively. The trainers are friendly and are very fit and cut, ergo motivating. Trainer Chris was a great coach! During classes, the trainers give you extra attention as well if you are a beginner, until another newbie comes along so that they are effective as well. SCHEDULING There are tons of different classes all relating to MMA such as Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, boxing, as well as sparring and weight training, all with upbeat music. There are a very limited number of classes on Friday (close 6pm), Saturday (2pm), and Sunday (12 noon). Weekdays they close around 9pm. You must sign up for a class ahead of time, with about 17 spots open for the gym space is about the size of a one bedroom apartment. Instead of cancelling the subscription like we asked, the company has given us the runaround. First they insisted there was a 30 day notice requirement, which is ridiculous since this was before the end of her first month. Then instead of cancelling, they changed it to a frozen subscription for $20 a month. After 3 months of that, and realizing they were still charging, I reached out to them. They insisted we never cancelled because we never filled out a cancellation form... which was never presented to us and never mentioned. After getting nowhere with Intensity, I disputed the transactions with my credit card. After the disputes were completed, Intensity decided to start charging us the full $160 per month fee, something we wholly did not agree to. I've continued to have to reach out to my credit card company every month just to dispute this heinous financial abuse by a company with incompetent staff. I've now had to dispute 5 months worth of charges. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I have been a member of IX3 Fitness for 2 years it is absolutely the best gym and I highly recommend it to anyone who has fitness goals they have yet to achieve. I first started coming here off a groupon. I enjoyed it so much that I bought a groupon for my fiancé. After his first class, we both decided to make the commitment of year memberships. Each class is perfect for beginners to advanced. I personally never have done kickboxing, but they have a kickboxing fundamentals class that shows you the basics. I feel so confident in each class. All the instructors love to get to know their Members and it's part of what makes you feel comfortable there. They'll correct you and cheer you on! They have classes for people who are early risers and also for those who can make it after work. The great thing is all their classes are registration based. The class will never be over-packed. I joined youfit, LA fitness and I have a gym in my development. I have never lost weight and my motivation was always diminished after 2 months. I hate going to the gym and pretending like you know what the heck you're doing. It's like picking out a wine at a bar, no one really knows what their getting -you just randomly pick a bottle and act like you know what you're doing. I am so impressed with everything about intensity X 3. They are family friendly, which is so amazing for me as a mother. Their classes are exciting and no two are alike. It keeps things really interesting and fun. I am also impressed with their customer service and the friendly nature of their staff. I'm really new to Kickboxing and to this type of exercise in general and the instructors are so helpful when it comes to modifying exercises to my level. I've never felt more comfortable in a workout environment than I do here! My favorite part and really my end goal is to master a skill and I'm sure that intensity X 3 will help me do that in their Muay Thai self defense program. I would have continued coming if it didn't cost an arm and a leg. As a first timer you can buy a $30.00 two week/6 class package. The trainers were helpful and nice while the classes were upbeat, fun and really kicked ya in the butt. I personally do not think the pricing is logical since you come for an hour class and then leave.. where many other gyms offer very similar classes as well as have a full gym and locker room. Nice experience but becoming a full time member was not even thought twice about. read more

Went there after reading the reviews posted. I am totally disappointed!! I am not in the best shape and was told over the phone I would feel comfortable as a beginner and there would be many newbies! That was a lie! Everyone there was in top shape very young and not so friendly! It was very clicky and I felt self conscience and awkward! The class was very fast and I found it hard to keep up. There was no cool down and it was rushed and disjointed. I will not be returning to this gym! read more

They put so much effort into making this gym a great place. The workouts are challenging and always changing to make sure that you never get tired of your workout routine. Love this place!! I love that it's more than kickboxing. They have hot kickboxing, HIIT Box, Kickboxing and Legs and so much more!! They have so much to offer for their clients. The trainers are fantastic!! They are full of energy and really get you hyped up for the class. This is my favorite place and I like it better than the other kickboxing place I use to attend. I like that it incorporates more than kickboxing. It emphasizes on the entire body and have workouts that put more emphasis on specific body areas such as abs, arms or legs. Classes are a good size depending on time of day and day of the week. They offer memberships that work with your schedule and their pricing is very reasonable. Love love love this place! Even when i dont feel like working out, i drag myself into class and within 1 minute I'm no longer tired or thinking about my couch. It's also fun to beat up the bag, let some aggression out. I pretend it's a couple of people i don't like, depends on the day who's getting the honor of being the face on my bag. I'll be honest, the idea of a kickboxing gym terrified me. Having picked up the "COVID-19 pounds" during quarantine in particular, I was both skeptical and uncomfortable heading into my free week trial (which, you definitely want to take full advantage of; good news is that the coaches are incredibly kind and personable in helping you get set up). I also, for the first three classes I went to, had to step away and try not to throw up! These workouts are no joke, that's for sure. But I will also say I was incredibly surprised by how safe, friendly, and invested everyone was in creating the best fitness experience possible - including the other gym members! It's a contagious energy. You start off wishing you could die or at least get a ten minute break (!) but that transforms pretty quickly into excitement and eagerness to get into the next class. It's hard work, but the folks here definitely make it worth both the time and money. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm moving in the right direction with my health, and this gym is to thank for it. Give it a shot- you won't regret it! read more

Love, love, love this gym!!!! I have been going here for over a year now and I have seen vast improvements not only in myself but in other members. The mix of strength classes and kickboxing classes is perfect and they are always mixing things up so I'm never bored with the workouts. The instructors are extremely knowledgable and willing to offer a modification for anyone not comfortable with an exercise or just starting out. The owners Allan and Cica really care about this gym, always making improvements and listening to their members while providing some fun outside activities to make you really feel like part of their "fit family".
