This is an awesome facility and I truly enjoy spending time there. There's something for everyone no matter what your fitness goals are-- during my time as a member I've gone from "taking a break" from working out and doing a lot of yoga/relaxing and now currently getting back into a bodybuilding program. The gym offers a variety of equipment and I never have to improvise due to lack of equipment. I might be staying the obvious here, but if you are into powerlifting, I would probably go elsewhere. The cardio machines are brand new and really nice. The actual place itself is very clean. I feel totally comfortable showering in the locker room and they have everything you need- towels, body wash, lotion, razors, etc. The outdoor pool is really pretty and nice to relax at after a workout. Staff is super nice and helpful. I have yet to buy any food from the cafe but it looks good. Definitely some good options if you're in a bind or spending a long time there. I will gladly pay the extra $ to train in a clean and peaceful gym.

I simply cannot believe the decisions made for their renovation. I understand renovations were needed as the gym they previously purchased and renamed, did need several cosmetic updates. However, whoever made the decisions for this specific location seriously is tone deaf, and should not be put in charge of such decisions in the future. Not to mention, the air conditioning still stops working randomly, the showers are not open for use, can't use the court because of construction, several classes unavailable. And they are still charging full price. The only silver lining, and also the only reason I left two stars, is because the lifting area is still nicely maintained. And honestly, after seeing what they chose to do with the basketball courts, I will no longer be coming to this location. Removal of the full court NBA sized court with all the side baskets will affect their membership numbers more than they realize. This location has long been a legendary court where high-level players and their training staff and friends would frequent. Especially over the summer. Now it's been downsized to a LA Fitness style court. Also, considering how much it cost nowadays to replace of hardwood basketball court, if they ever chose to go back on their decision, it would cost them triple. Absolutely bonehead move by whoever signed off on this. Whoever made this decision, does not understand the local community and their desires. Furthermore, it's not like they were short on space. There's plenty of room in this massive gym to have turf placed without cutting up the bball floor. Not to mention, the other nearest lifetime in Palm Beacch Gardens only has Pickleball courts. So basically, if you are a basketball player, Life Time doesn't really care about you. Such an absolute shame. Local community that is affected by this will find alternate locations. Personally, I will be going to the equinox in West Palm. Feel free to include a boring corporate response below this review, but understand that no matter what you say, you made a terrible decision which was not " in the best interest of the community". I hate how so many things nowadays are made worse by someone sitting behind a desk signing off on bad ideas. Well, understand that now people who used to drive over an hour to come use this gym will find other places to go.

Both gyms are about the same distance from my house, but I prefer the Boca location. They have the same amenities, but the Boca gym is much more aesthetically pleasing. I especially love the room on the left side when you first walk in. There's a record sign up there. I like to record workout content every now and then, and that space is perfect for it. I also really like the graffiti-style art on the walls. The only downside is that it's always pretty packed whenever I go, which can be a bit uncomfortable at times, but it is what it is. The staff could work on their customer service, as they're not always the friendliest, but I've dealt with worse.

He tried to play it off but never answered me. I explained to him that I'm a member and don't appreciate being disrespected by being barked at like if I was a dog. This gentleman proceeded to escalate the situation and asked me if I wanted to have a problem with him. He might be used to threatening people in his life, but I don't play that nonsense. Customer Service 101, apologize and rectify. I politely explained to him that instead I wanted the solution of being treated with dignity and respect. Like all cowards he tried to play it off instead of manning up and being accountable for his immature and unprofessional behavior. He commanded me to "walk away" to which I responded with "apologize." He refused and then squirried away from the front desk. To exacerbate the situation, one his older white coworkers (Lee?) told me that he would beat him up if he ever barked at me again. Instead of an apology, I got another clown trying to punk me. I then saw them both talking so I approached them to have a professional conversation. This time the white employee ran off with his tail between his legs and the tall African American employee told me, "don't come at me." Instead of having a professional conversation, he also ran bravely away. BTW, I'm 5'7" and 160 lbs. This gentleman is 6'4" and at least 200 lbs. Trust me, there was NEVER going to be a physical interaction. I just wanted to talk, man to man. I guess little boys can't handle that yet. If you're the GM, please contact me. I have been a member of EOS for years both in California and Florida and have never run into anything remotely as unprofessional as this. Please run a serious business and hire professionals. EOS, you're better than this.

A Great Gym With a Few Things to Improve…read more I recently became a member of LA Fitness, and so far, I'm really enjoying my experience! The location is convenient, there's plenty of parking, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The gym is clean, and I especially like the pool area. One detail that really caught my attention is the large window overlooking the pool such a unique and thoughtful design feature! Of course, there are a few things that could use some attention. Three restrooms on the second floor are currently out of order, several gym machines are unavailable, and a couple of ceiling tiles have been removed, with a bucket placed underneath, possibly to catch water from a roof leak during heavy rain. Since I'm still new here, I'm hoping these are temporary issues and that everything is already in the process of being repaired. Overall, I'm happy with my decision to join and look forward to seeing the facility continue to improve!

Several months ago, I called to cancel my membership because my son was getting his own account, and we were trying to reduce expenses while I was unemployed. The manager, Chris, told me over the phone that he would take care of the cancellation himself and save me the trip to the club. My wife and I both clearly remember that conversation because we had been discussing ways to cut costs, and we were genuinely grateful that he offered to help. Fast forward about six months, and I discovered I had been charged every month for both my membership and my son's membership. When I called, Chris said he didn't remember our conversation. I then spoke with another manager, Cookie, who told me there was nothing they could do to help or reimburse me. What made the situation even more frustrating was the inconsistency. I was told that LA Fitness does not allow membership cancellations over the phone. However, during that same phone call, Cookie canceled my membership over the phone herself. She told me I didn't need to sign anything and that she would simply email me a confirmation. I never received the confirmation email, but the point is that she was clearly able to process the cancellation over the phone. That directly contradicts what I was told about it being impossible and supports exactly what Chris had told me months earlier. I've been a loyal member for many years, and this was extremely disappointing. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen. What matters is how a business responds when they do. In this case, there was no attempt to acknowledge the mistake or offer any reasonable resolution. To make matters worse, this isn't the first issue I've had with membership cancellation at this location. I experienced a similar problem during the COVID period, but I chose not to make a big issue of it at the time. Unfortunately, this experience has left me feeling that customer loyalty isn't valued. If your policy is that cancellations cannot be done over the phone, then employees should never tell customers otherwise. And if they can be canceled over the phone, as was done in my case, then customers should not be told otherwise when they're asking for a resolution. I simply wanted the charges refunded for a cancellation that I was told had already been processed. Instead, I was told there was nothing they could do. After being a loyal member for many years, I expected much better customer service.

I wish the yoga studio itself was a little bigger because if it's a full class it's difficult to move around but the instructors are amazing. I haven't been to a yoga class in a long time where the teacher came up to meet me and find out my experience level. And then her instruction was so dynamic and fun! I've been doing yoga for 30 years so it's hard to surpass me with an innovative sequence, but we were moving left, right and center stringing asanas together in ways I never have before. The heat was just perfect and I was sweating like I was literally in the shower! That's my goal though when I go to a hot yoga class. I want to sweat and detox and feel hot! The studio itself is really pretty with lots of fun things to shop for. They have cubbies, with a few that lock, which I really appriated as I will never leave my purse unattended. Their restrooms were clean. The low, colored lighting in the yoga room really sets a mood and I love that they have a mirror so alignment can always be considered. The front desk was so welcoming and even said goodbye by name as I left. I am so excited to have found this studio. Its also in an awesome shopping center with a ton of restaurants and retail shops! You can definite make a few hours of yoga, food and shopping.
