I am a patient of Dr. Khouri, and I am currently undergoing reconstruction. I can only feel…read moregratitude toward him and his entire team (you are the best!!). I was first diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer in 2019, and I underwent lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. After a second cancer diagnosis in 2024 (this time hormonal), I decided to undergo a double mastectomy. I chose to stay flat because implants and flaps were not for me. I had healing issues and developed necrosis in a large area of tissue, which also formed keloid scars And fibrosis. The tissue started to become increasingly stiff, and the doctors I saw in Spain told me that if I did nothing, the problem would worsen over time. This tissue would continue to adhere more and more to my chest bones, and I would lose more and more mobility. I visited many surgeons until I found Dr. Khouri (thank you, internet!). Dr. Khouri was the only one who gave me a non-mutilating option: a full reconstruction using my own fat. I am a slim person, but that hasn't been a problem at all. Dr. Khouri is very experienced in working with all kinds of patients, and his track record in fat transfer surgery is incomparable to that of any other surgeon. He is a pioneer, and for me, that makes all the difference. Since I started treatment with Dr. Khouri a few months ago, I feel that I will be able to put an end to a very complicated phase of my life. It has been 7 years since my first cancer diagnosis; it's a long, very tough process for breast cancer patients, and you rarely come across people who are as deeply involved in improving the quality of life of patients as Dr. Khouri. My opinion: Dr Roger Khoury is not a good surgeon, he destroyed my hand…read more He performed liposuction on my abdomen, surgically attached to my hand a weird contraption I believe he invented and inserted metal rods into my hand without clearly explaining all of these procedures to me beforehand. All of this to alleviate my arthritic condition. According to him the surgery did not go well and I went through hell for three months. I saw him at his office in May 2023 and have not seen him in person since then, mind you I had surgery in June and July 2023. Be wise, avoid the Miami Hand Center and Roger Khoury MD.

Tami Boothby I was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was…read more27 and had bilateral mastectomy, 6 months of chemo, and reconstruction with breast implants. After many problems with the implants and multiple health issues from BII over 16 years, I finally had my implants removed in 2019. I felt better health-wise but I was concave and was disfigured after explant. My surgeon told me to "just be happy being flat". I initially looked into the flap surgery for reconstruction but felt it was too invasive for, in my opinion, not the greatest looking results. I was relieved to learn that I could have reconstruction using my own body fat at Miami Breast Center. I met Dr Khouri for the first time in 2020. The first thing he said when he saw me was, "How could someone leave you like this!?" My sentiments exactly! Instantly I knew he was on my side and I felt heard and hopeful for the first time! Dr Khouri invented the EVE device which is much like cupping. You wear it for 2 weeks prior to surgery to expand the tissue so there's room for the fat, but the device also helps bring blood supply that the transferred fat needs to live. This process wasn't easy but the results are so worth it! I am now a C cup and the fat has stayed beautifully since my last fat transfer 4 years ago. I am a nurse and I've worked with many doctors. Dr Khouri is one of the best on the planet. I felt like he treated me as he would his own family. I have been a champion of his cause online and now help him with marketing. I believe women are falling thru the cracks and Miami Breast Center is doing the right thing for women! As a natural girl, I was never comfortable with foreign objects in my body. Fat transfer is the most natural option with the most beautiful and lasting results! I cannot recommend Miami Breast Center highly enough!

My experience with Dr Khouri was unique but also amazing I…read morehad breast cancer in 2014 and reconstructed with implants , had 7 weeks of radiation shortly after. My implant on my radiated side never felt right and looked aweful, so I did about a year of research and found Dr K . I traveled from Texas to see him. In 2014 when I had my BC recon in Texas there was mesh put in with my implants and It killed breast tissue around it I started my journey with Dr K in 2021. My reconstruction took longer since that mesh was there but after we figured it out and got it removed my procedures took well I love Dr K and I'm very thankful for everything he's done for me . He truly cares about his patients and is passionate about his wrk.
