My experience with Dr Khouri was unique but also amazing I had breast cancer in 2014 and reconstructed with implants , had 7 weeks of radiation shortly after. My implant on my radiated side never felt right and looked aweful, so I did about a year of research and found Dr K . I traveled from Texas to see him. In 2014 when I had my BC recon in Texas there was mesh put in with my implants and It killed breast tissue around it I started my journey with Dr K in 2021. My reconstruction took longer since that mesh was there but after we figured it out and got it removed my procedures took well I love Dr K and I'm very thankful for everything he's done for me . Roger K. Khouri is a monster who difigures his patients. Stay away at all costs! He botched my sister's surgery so badly and sent her home the very same day, although she was bleeding profusely (and continued to bleed profusely for several days after). She continued to be in pain for months, recovery took forever, and she is now scarred in areas that he was never supposed to touch. After the surgery, the saccharine, sweet staff turned sour and unresponsive. At the post-op visit, he actually scolded my sister, accusing her of not following pre-op directions, because she bled so much on the table! She had followed his instructions to the T! This man is a butcher and should not be practicing medicine. I pray for anyone desperate enough to go to him. He does not seem to care about his patients, and I doubt the reviews that claim he does are genuine. I've noticed he has multiple listings on Yelp for the same few businesses. When he gets too many negative reviews, he creates a new business page. Huge red flag! I urge you to research him on other platforms, including Google. If you continue to scroll, you will see the buried negative reviews of what he and his staff have done to so many poor women who came to him for help, but instead ended up disfigured and severely traumatized. Dr. Khouri and his staff, including other surgeons are known for their new and innovative breast argumentation and breast reconstruction! I learned of Miami Breast Center from being introduced to Tami Boothby, a beautiful kind soul, nurse and field representative for Miami Breast Center, at a Cancer Awareness event here in Tampa. At the time of meeting Tami, I was scheduled for a revision surgery of my previous breast reconstruction surgery due to Breast Cancer. My reconstruction surgery left me with a deformed breast. This deformity added more trauma to an already traumatizing diagnosis. After speaking with Tami and receiving a large hardcover binder book of DR. KHOURI'S BIO, I was greatly intrigued after reading his bio and witnessing from photos throughout the bio, his achievements, and results. Dr. Khouri's creations, along with his creativity, which leads to his innovations, I found to be astounding! SIGN ME UP! I had my revised surgery on the 13th of March, 2026 with Dr. Khouri. Though I am recovering still, I look AMAZING, I feel AMAZING! The staff and Dr. Khouri at MIAMI BREAST CENTER are very friendly, kind and compassionate. I have to travel from TAMPA to MIAMI to partake in the care of this facility, trust me, it has been WORTH IT every step of the way! I am a patient of Dr. Khouri, and I am currently undergoing reconstruction. I can only feel gratitude toward him and his entire team (you are the best!!). I was first diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer in 2019, and I underwent lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. After a second cancer diagnosis in 2024 (this time hormonal), I decided to undergo a double mastectomy. I chose to stay flat because implants and flaps were not for me. I had healing issues and developed necrosis in a large area of tissue, which also formed keloid scars and fibrosis. The tissue started to become increasingly stiff, and the doctors I saw in Spain told me that if I did nothing, the problem would worsen over time. This tissue would continue to adhere more and more to my chest bones, and I would lose more and more mobility. I visited many surgeons until I found Dr. Khouri (thank you, internet!). Dr. Khouri was the only one who gave me a non-mutilating option: a full reconstruction using my own fat. I am a slim person, but that hasn't been a problem at all. Dr. Khouri is very experienced in working with all kinds of patients, and his track record in fat transfer surgery is incomparable to that of any other surgeon. He is a pioneer, and for me, that makes all the difference. Since I started treatment with Dr. Khouri a few months ago, I feel that I will be able to put an end to a very complicated phase of my life. It has been 7 years since my first cancer diagnosis; it's a long, very tough process for breast cancer patients, and you rarely come across people who are as deeply involved in improving the quality of life of patients as Dr. Khouri. I have been a patient of Dr. Khouri since 2020. In 2002, I had a left-side mastectomy, with TRAM flap reconstruction, followed by chemo and radiation. In 2016, cancer was detected in my right side, having a mastectomy. Chemo and radiation were not necessary. To match my left side, I opted for an implant. Eventually, I felt I developed BII. In 2019, I received a letter stating my implants gave me a higher risk of developing another type of cancer! All of my surgeries at this point were done at the Cleveland Clinic, with the most up-to-date procedures. I had dealt with cancer twice. I wasn't going to risk a third go-around, so I chose an immediate explant. I thought I could handle being flat. Every person is different, but psychologically, I couldn't handle it. I wasn't just flat. I was concave. Returning to Cleveland Clinic to discuss my options, there were no good options for me, with my prior surgeries, RAFT reconstruction and radiation. My skin was damaged. My explant surgeon said he had seen the work of a doctor in Key Biscayne, FL, who achieved good 'mounds' with fat transfer. That is how I found Dr. Khouri. From the first time I met Dr. Khouri, I felt this was the path for me. He was compassionate, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe. He answered all my questions, along with my husband's questions. Dr. Khouri is a perfectionist. His technique requires multiple surgeries, with each surgery building upon the others. Patience is needed. Some surgeries, I call them steps, are more painful than others, especially with the RAFT procedure. Everyone has a different tolerance of pain, but for me, it was not intolerable. You leave a surgery with a pain pump, plus needed medications. Dr. Khouri has always called me the day after surgery to check in with me. Looking back, would I do it all again? ABSOLUTELY! I no longer look into a mirror and am reminded I had cancer. Dr. Khouri requires blood tests, EKG, and medical clearance from your personal physician. The way I look at it is this way: I could have kept my implants, deal with BII and run the risk of developing another cancer or look and feel the way I dreamed of by relocating my own, natural fat where my body wasn't fighting a foreign object. I would like to add that I spoke to my oncologist prior to having breast reconstruction with Dr. Khouri. I had read concerns that fatty lumps could occur and may look like cancer on tests. My oncologist assured me that any good radiologist could tell the difference, and I shouldn't concern myself with that. I never did develop any lumps or bumps. I had the determination, patience and trust in Dr. Khouri, so we made a good team. Dr. Khouri's entire staff is remarkable and kind. I am sure they may have some off days, but don't we all? They are human like us. I can say all my interactions with them have been positive. read more

I would not recommend this procedure at all, at least not with this doctor. Although I am very thin, I have a little belly fat. This is where I wanted the fat taken from. Because my thinness is in my hips and legs, I did *not* want any fat taken from my legs. My legs have always been too skinny. Well, you go under anesthesia, so you have no voice, and Dr. Khouri took the fat from my already underweight legs. Not only that, he left them all lumpy and veiny. It is so upsetting, there is nothing I can do to fix my legs, they look horrible. And this was all done without my consent. How could you do this to a patient? A patient paying you 10,000s of thousands of dollars to boot? read more

This is the most unprofessional, unskilled unethical "healthcare" office. Did not require ekg before surgery, did not explain excruciatingly painful raft procedure & nurses are completely incompetent. After my raft procedure I was screaming in pain so the nurses took me to a separate room and told me to "stop screaming because I was scaring the other patients"! They told me I had to get up and leave- it took me 3 hours to sit up because I kept fainting from the pain. I begged them to call 911 as I was sweating, nauseous, in excruciating pain & kept fainting but they repeatedly denied my requests. One of the older nurses actually started arguing with me. I can't tell you how scared I was that I would die right there in their office. I finally was able to sit up & my friend asked if I could stay overnight or go to the hospital bc I looked so bad. The nurses said no I should go home. My friend immediately called 911- took me to u of m where I was diagnosed with internal bleeding, pulmonary embolism and subcutaneous emphysema. I had to be transferred to the ICU at mercy hospital where they said they didn't have my ct scan and did another one - magically I didn't have a pulmonary embolism anymore? I had a blood transfusion & stayed 4 days in excruciating pain( couldn't move my arms). No one contacted me for 3 months for follow up. After 3 months he did call to chastise me for sharing my experience in a private Facebook fat transfer/breast reconstruction group! How did he even know my private remarks sharing my horrific experience. He had the audacity to leave this tirade on my voicemail- don't worry I saved it. Dr. Khouri and his team did a phenomenal job at reconstructing my breasts with fat transfer post preventative double mastectomy. The process was long but 100% worth it considering, I don't have any implants and got the added value of lipo on my thighs and hips. I feel and look fantastic! The nurses are SO SO nice too! 100% recommend it! read more
