My son got a little scared getting x rays done for the first time but he managed in the end, partly because the whole office was supportive and rooting for him. I was so grateful. Everyone we spoke to is highly experienced with kids and they make sure to establish trust with them. Marlee showed my son every single tool in a fun way describing them as "teeth counters", "air tickles", "teeth tickles", "kiss suckers" and more. My son was extremely relaxed and told me he was really having fun. The icing on the cake was the goodie bag at the end of a great cleaning, "teeth pictures" and lots of tickles. Marlee got the cutest giggles out of him. Marlee and Dr. Landa gave us time to ask any questions we had and we never felt rushed. They have a tv on the ceiling for the kiddos. I wish I had a tv on the ceiling at my dentist to catch up on some shows Covid precautions - everyone must use a mask and they limit the amount of people in the lobby. We ended up waiting in our car and they called us as soon as a room was ready. They have sanitizer in the waiting area for anyone to use.

Other South Florida practices treat you like an insurance file leaving all the socializing with the child patient with the support staff. However Dr. Mario takes the time to explain every procedure and makes the entire visit stress-free for both the child and the parents. (We had to experience 2 subpar pediatric dentists before Dr. Mario was able to patiently and with care treat our child's deep cavity.) I was so excited when I received a flyer in my mail indicating that a new dental clinic was opening…read morein the old now defunct "La Ganga Discount Store." I saw that the flyer had specials for different procedures, I'm guessing that was the new patient price and for those without insurance. I gave them a call and asked if my dental insurance was accepted and if they were "in network." Both of their answers were yes. I've been needing a implant for a couple of years and been put on the shelf, because of my children's dental issue these last couple of years. Finally, I was able to save money on my health saving account and told my kids, "my turn to get my mouth situated." I called an made an appointment and I was given an appointment the following week. I arrived promptly like twenty minutes before my appointment. I was given some forms and she gave them to me in Spanish, (mind you I'm bilingual, but it's easier for me to read in English). I asked the receptionist if she can change the forms in English and she replied, since you spoke to me in Spanish, I figure you wanted them in Spanish? I was a little confused, but anyways. I filled out the forms and I was called within ten minutes. I understand this establishment was opened a little over a month, but they had one dental assistant and one dentist. The dental assistant instructed me that she was going to do some x-rays. Shortly after the dentist walked in and was looking at my x-rays. I questioned him and asked if he was the one doing my implant and he said, "yes." I was a little shocked, because at my dental place (Sage Dental) it was an oral surgeon who was going to do my implant. He stated that he had enough training and experience to do the implant. After reviewing my x-rays, he facial expressions wasn't looking to Kosher. He stated that it was best that I seek a second opinion from an oral surgeon and that he would not be able to do my implant. I was a little upset, but felt a sense of relief, because I was feeling a little iffy about the dentist doing my dental work. I made an appointment for my daughter to receive a consult for wisdom teeth extractions and I cancelled, I wasn't feeling comfortable with this establishment.

After my lactation consultant suspected a lip and tongue tie for my daughter, we were able to get in the schedule in less than 48 hours for an evaluation and correction. Everything happened right away and this made all the difference for my 2 week old little, who had started falling off the weight curve! The procedure was very quick and helped tremendously with the feeding difficulties we were having. Though this procedure is not covered by insurance, I found their fees reasonable and they offered the opportunity to use care credit. Dr. Bob is a wonderful dentist and the office is well run! If you have a little who is having difficulties with lip/tongue ties, don't hesitate to go see Dr. Bob for a consult!

My kids are now 2 & 3 years old so my kids have been a patient for 2 years now. The staff is extremely costumer service oriented and very nice. They will text you and call you to confirm if you don't respond to the text. The office has a nautical theme very nice and clean and the process to fill out paperwork in in an IPAD. They have computers for the kids to play outside and TV's on the ceiling for the children to watch kids shows. The wait time is very minimal which is great and one of my favorite things. I have been in and out in 30 minutes. Dr. Bob is bilingual as most of his staff is as well. Dr. Bob and the staff will try their best to make your child feel comfortable and enjoy their experience by giving them a balloon, stickers, good bag, coin for a toy vending machine outside. I definitely recommend Dr. Bob if you are looking for a Pediatric Dentist.
