When you call in they try to rush you off the phone or push you off to another number that no one ever answers. When your provider tries to call in to renew a prescription they don't respond. I have been without my prescription eyedrops since March of 2024. It's November 2024. My provider has tried to reach them multiple times but no one responds and I never hear anything back. This is a horrible location for Eye Service. I am looking for another Eye center that handles their business. I was there 10/31 and was told that my prescription would be called in for a 30 day supply. It's 11/1 and that prescription still has not been called in, knowing that I have been without since March of this year. I called in this morning and was quickly transferred to a different area that did not answer. If I get Glaucoma now I am wondering will I have a lawsuit case I can pursue. They seem to be negligent to me. The office experience was terrible. The care sucks and the quality of customer service is a zero!

I myself was in the same industry for 25 years so I know a good doctor when I meet one. Parking lot was clean with ample parking, the building looked nice aesthetically, you walked in and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. When I was taken in to the initial pretesting the technician was very friendly and very precise. She made me feel comfortable in what she was doing and how she was handling the tests. I used to administer these tests myself when I was in the optical field so I do know when it's done properly or not. About 5 minutes later I was taking into the office to meet with the doctor, the doctor's assistant that initially took care of me and checked my vision very thorough, very friendly, very knowledgeable. When the doctor came in she had a big smile on her face, she made me feel comfortable and that was a great relief considering I was going there for a very serious eye condition. She was thorough, very precise, kept me informed on everything that she was doing, put my fears to rest, and I felt very comfortable with her diagnosis. When I went to the desk to check out both Debbie and Erin C were super friendly and made it very easy to make the two follow-up appointments that I needed to make. I highly, highly, highly recommend this practice. Whether you need just general optometric care as in a general eye exam, or if you need specialized Care from one of the ophthalmologist as a previous professional in the field I say that you cannot go wrong seeing the doctors in this practice. I scheduled cataract surgery with Dr. Shah. A few weeks prior to the surgery date, I called with a…read morequestion about prescription eyedrops. I was told the message would be given to the surgical coordinator, who never responded. I was told I'd receive a call the day prior to the scheduled surgery to tell me what time to arrive at the surgical center. I did not receive a call and couldn't reach anyone to ask about it because it was a weekend. When I called the surgical coordinator early on the morning of the scheduled surgery date, I was told the surgery was not scheduled for that day, but rather weeks later. My paperwork from the office showed the scheduled date was, in fact, that same day, and when the surgical coordinator checked with the scheduler, she confirmed that the surgery date I was given was indeed that same day. I asked who made this error, and was told the manager would call me that day. I did not receive a call from anyone. When the surgical center called me to go over pre-op questions, I explained that due to an error made by Arbor Eye Institute, the date was wrong and I could not have the surgery done on that date. The person at the surgery center told me they have experienced date mix-ups from this office before. My experience with this office is that they are unresponsive, couldn't even get the date of the surgery correct, and no one takes responsibility. I'm forced to delay my cataract surgery while I look for a practice with a competent and responsive staff.

The doctor didn't mention anything about an additional fee for 30-seconds of "professional tweezer work." A week later, received a bill for $60 - that's $30 per eye lash! Called and asked them to waive it, and they said no. This is representative of the current state of health care. What a joke. UPDATE: 2 months later, they sent it to a collection agency. Yep - They played hardball for $60.
