Do NOT under ANY circumstance see Dr Salem, unless you like to be ripped off! He'll first insist on charging you for a scan, stating ALL patients must have a scan on file, which is a blatant LIE and not standard practice at any other local optometrist! Just a scam, by a sleazy Arab, to make money! When you refuse the scan, you'll immediately see a shift in his persona. The glasses are waaaay over-priced and if you have issues with glasses ordered through them, you'll have to fight like hell to have them corrected! I'm 70 years old and have seen an eye doctor every year since I was 12. Dr. Bury is by far the best eye doctor I have ever seen. She is incredibly thorough and takes time to do a very complete exam and clearly explain all the findings. She is now my forever doctor. I only wish I had found her years ago. I highly recommend Dr. Bury. After cataract surgery at a different eye doctor, I couldn't get the correct prescription for my glasses for a year. Having spent thousands of dollars on glasses that didn't work, I changed eye doctors and went to Dr. Bury who a friend recommended. She spent so much time with me testing various lenses and over the course of several months finally came up with the correct prescription. Where do I begin? After getting the run around at a chain I decided to try a local business. Elizabeth who was up front was really welcoming and helpful with getting my insurance and script emailed to them. She also made the check out seamless. Then came Lisa, she helped me find frames that really fit my face and my style. She explained a lot of things other optometrists didn't. It felt like she really cared about what I was buying and told me what my insurance would cover. We settled on frames and she really listened to what I needed for coatings. I've been a patient here for years. I can honestly say that the front desk crew are often rude and it's basically impossible to make an appointment with any of the doctors here. Go ahead and make an appointment and try to reschedule because something comes up. They will literally tell you that all their doctors are "scheduled for the next 3 months." Really...? I am glad to see that several reviews here acknowledged Dr. Narbone though. She is the sweetest, most nice eye doctor I've ever seen. I always prefer her and she remembers what you tell her from years past, stays involved with her patients, is always extremely friendly and comes off as absolutely genuine. If you are not a patient of hers, request her and you will be more than happy. read more

I went here with a voucher a few weeks back. They accept the otis and piper one! Its been a while so I forgot his name. My optometrist was a young guy who's name I cannot remember at this point. Pretty laid back and had some interesting information and knowledge on stuff relating to the exams and followup questions. Everybody there seems really nice. There's a kids' section that even has a gate. They have the waiting area with magazines, and they decorate for the holidays which is cute. I think the receptionists do it... that's fun! I like all the staff I saw that day. Its clean and has a very exposed wood, calm ambience. 5 stars. read more

I've been coming here for years and I really have mixed feelings about this place. When I was younger I was a patient of Dr. Bury, she was always hard to get an appointment for. She was okay as an eye doctor. I began seeing Dr. Narbone years ago when she was new there and they asked if I would mind trying her so I said yes. Dr. Narbone is the only reason I still go here every year! She is great. She is very friendly and not in the fake doctor way. She remembers things about her patients, talks to them like a real person, not down to them like some doctors do. She is great when there is a problem. A couple of years ago I got pink eye from work and she was great about adjusting her schedule to get me in. When I came in a year later for my yearly appointment she talked to me a lot about my weight loss. Dr. Narbone is a really great doctor. However, the staff that works there is awful. They constantly make mistakes with filing and bills. When I called about pink eye they told me she was filled for the next two days and could I wait until a bizarre time THREE days later. Lucky for me, Narbone was standing there and overheard it and she got me in that day. But the staff is awful. I cannot tell you how many problems me and other family members have had with billing, insurance and other problems because of the staff. There is an older lady there that is just pretty mean. I would have stopped going there years ago if I didn't like the doctor so much. So I am giving it three stars, because as much as I like my doctor I can't stand the staff there. read more

This office is so nice and helpful! They are great at explaining everything to make sure you understand it all - obviously depending on your situation. They also offer later appointment times on certain days and even some on weekends! I also like the fact that they schedule your annual exams ahead of time because it's always easier to change it at a later time rather than having to wait to get in because of a busier schedule. read more

I have been using them for about 4 years and have had nothing but good experiences. Today, though, I felt compelled to leave a review, because they really went above and beyond. My babysitting fell through so I had to take my 3 kids with me, and Dr. Narbone was extremely understanding and kind as were all of the technicians and office staff. What could have been a miserable experience for everyone involved ended up being a bit tiring but really pretty good all things considered. They were also surprisingly cost-effective, particularly for such a nice place! read more
