I speak of the Orland Park location and had a brief conversation with Oak Lawn. My experience with Dr. Katsoulakis and Dr. O. Donnell were more than satisfying. However, it appears that there is no way to reach them if necessary after the office visit. I am sorry to learn that the aftercare appears not important. Perhaps that is the Krates structure.

i cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nick--he is absolutely fabulous, highly professional,…read moreand an excellent doctor. Unfortunately, his office staff desperately needs a tune-up.During my visit, I was left waiting in a small exam room for 20 minutes. Because I struggle with claustrophobia, the tight space became overwhelming and was truly freaking me out. When I stepped out to gently explain my situation to a staff member (who I believe is the office manager), her shocking response was, "You're freaking me out, get out of here."I went and sat in the main lobby waiting room instead. After another 12 minutes of waiting, I realized the anxiety was too much and went up to explain that I simply couldn't wait any longer and needed to leave. She dismissively told me to "have a nice day"--but the dripping sarcasm and condescending way she said it was incredibly disrespectful.Dr. Nick deserves 5 stars, but the hostile, completely unempathetic behavior of this staff member is a major issue. Management needs to address this immediately, as no patient should ever be treated with such cruelty during a medical vulnerability.they should change the policy of the game they are playing,"Hide the Patients". 08/28/2026 12:50 appt.

I told the front desk that I changed purses and inadvertently left my license in that purse, she said oh, I understand however our policy is you have present it at the time of service. She then picked up her cell phone and called who I am assuming was her manager to explain the situation. Now, from where I was standing I could hear the responses...this person, stated absolutely not, I had to have my drivers license or state I.D. right now or I could not be seen. I told the receptionist as soon as I got home I could upload my I.D. into the patient portal; her posture remained the same. She was told I have credit cards, that match my name, not to mention I completed all office forms with the same identification. Still no go...I certainly understand policy, however there has to be a little give. Why couldn't they just see me?? If I did not provide the I.D. they could have just not scheduled any further appointments until provided. The front desk was not friendly at all and not very customer oriented. I will not be returning

my concern regarding the conduct of staff during my grandmother's recent appointment at your…read moreoptometry office. Upon arrival, there were two receptionists at the front desk. One was on the phone assisting someone, while the other was sitting at the desk but did not acknowledge us. There was no greeting, no "good morning," and no direction given. My grandmother stood at the desk for approximately ten minutes before completing the sign-in sheet without any assistance or acknowledgment. After she signed in, a staff member loudly stated, "After you sign in, sit down." There was no polite instruction, no "please," and no professional tone. In a healthcare setting, especially when dealing with elderly patients, courtesy and clear, respectful communication should be standard. Additionally, the same staff member loudly asked another patient across the waiting area, "Do you have your medical information?" Discussing or requesting private medical details in a raised voice across a room compromises patient privacy and reflects a lack of discretion. In a medical environment, confidentiality should be taken seriously. When my grandmother was taken to the back, several staff members appeared to be standing around chatting, moving between patient rooms casually, and engaging in what seemed like gossip or playful behavior. This created an atmosphere that felt unprofessional and inattentive. A medical office should reflect focus, organization, and attentiveness to patient care not casual socializing. This experience left me feeling uncomfortable about the level of professionalism in your office and concerned about the quality of care my grandmother is receiving. Respectful communication, privacy, and professionalism are not optional in healthcare they are expected.

My mother's doctor is exceptional and he's very patient and explains everything. We never have to wait more than five minutes to be seen. She has been getting injections for over three years and I credit the doctor for saving her eyesight. I would highly recommend Dr. Eadie to anyone who needs to be treated for macular degeneration. He is gentle and kind and takes the extra time to answer all our questions.
