The pattern and color are perfect our Family Room. We appreciated your suggestions and samples. Installation was detail oriented. The patterns match perfectly and length/width seams are indistinguishable. It's a pleasure recommending your store, staff and installers.

The installers and their lack of professionalism, however, are the reason for the lower score. They refused shoe covers and walked with their shoes through the house, then tracked dust and carpet pieces throughout. They left water bottles, damage to the baseboards and walls. It felt like they were more in a rush to get done than to get the job done correctly. After discussing this with Jim, he wasn't phased by the issues and said we should have expected a little cleanup despite being told the installers would clean up after themselves. They were instructed to leave the old carpet for us to throw out, but they didn't bother to bag it up for trash. We paid $1500 for two rooms and I still had to do a lot myself. We wanted to support a local business but the whole effort was pretty average.

We live in DuPage County and checked out a couple stores out here - the tile shop which had some of the worst customer service we've encountered in our life, a couple locally owned who kept pressuring us to use their people for the installation despite us already finding someone we trust, and that left me searching for a new place. America's Flooring Store came up in our search so we had nothing to lose coming here. First, it is 1000% worth the drive out here. They have so many beautiful selections to choose from. After we shared our style with Lisa, she immediately pulled a few options. I'm not over exaggerating when I say they were all perfect. Both my husband and I leaned towards the same one as our favorite! Lisa really listened which I feel is so rare these days, and made the ordering process a breeze. Our tiles came in quickly in about a week. One of the tile sadly was cracked right down the middle which happens. Nobody can control what happens in shipping, and Lisa immediately took care of this and got replacements! We will never go anywhere else for flooring and will refer all our friends and family here. I can't recommend this place enough!!!

The water leaked sporadically, and since it leaked between gutters and siding, we called the siding and gutter installer, to have them fix the leak. They looked and looked, and found it coming from the toilet wax ring, installed years earlier, by Kautz. I called years later, and Mike acted like I was out of my mind, given the time lapse. Sadly we did not know what was the cause. I decided on Kautz instead of Home Depot, giving small business on this job. My $1,200. mistake. Home Depot has insurance to cover these events. Lesson learned !
