Lisa is incredible! I have been seeing her the last few months after never having lashes extensions before. She is professional, a perfectionist and just a really nice person to work with. She always makes me feel comfortable, and valued as a customer. I would highly recommend her! read more

I love iLash studio! Lisa is absolutely amazing, I definitely can't live without my eyelash fix.. I've been to other places and they do not compare to the quality and great service you get here. I usually come for a full every two weeks but I can go up to one month with ILash extensions still looking great! read more

I love iLash Studio! I've been a loyal client for almost a year now and every time I go in for a fill, my eyelashes ALWAYS turn out great. I had a special occasion to attend so I asked my friend( who had lashes extensions before) who to use. She gave me Lisa`s name and info in San Mateo and I made the appointment. Lisa was quick to follow up with me and in I went, this was my first time with extensions. It took and hour and a half, lying with your eyes closed. Lisa plays music and we chatted a little bit about what I wanted. She places a pad on your face, under each eye to protect lower lashes, they where uncomfortable for me as they felt like they where in my eyes but I let Lisa know and she moved them. I told Lisa I wanted a natural look in hind site I should have brought an picture or had her show me the lashes so that was my fault. The lashes where a bit of a shock to me, but gorgeous it took me a couple of days to get used to them and after several compliments, get used to them I did. So here is where Lisa earned the 5 starts, after several lashes fell out in the first couple of days I called Lisa and told her, she offered to have me come in the next week and she would fix them with no charge. I was not able to get in to see Lisa until 3 weeks after they where first applied so by the time I got to see Lisa it was almost time for a refresh, Lisa did this at no cost and took out the longer lashes and applied a shorter and lighter color lash. So thanks to Lisa and her great customer service, and my gorgeous eye lashes. read more

I went to Lisa for extensions in preparation for a cruise last summer. My plan was to try them out and keep them in mind for special occasions, but like the other ladies here, after the first experience I was hooked! Lisa is professional and so good at what she does! Based on our conversation it's clear that she is very knowledgable and well trained. It's quick and easy to book an appointment online, and Lisa keeps to the schedule. The location is convenient and there's always plenty of parking. The appointment itself is pleasant: lay down for an hour, chat a bit, doze off, wake up and the lashes are amazing! I save time getting ready in the morning and get lots of compliments! read more

This place awesome, lisa took good care of me.. my lashes look so beautiful and full, and it's last for months. Yes I travel for good service. It's a high price to pay to keep a wonderful artist. I love her work and her kind personality and best of all her price is very reasonable. Thank you lisa for always taking good care of me.. read more

Got my lashes done on a Thursday at 12:30. The appointment took and hour and a half, and I took excellent care of them as best as I could afterwards. (This was my first time getting extensions so I had done my research and also read through the aftercare pamphlet) However, by Sunday night, every single extension had fallen off my face. I literally stood in front of the mirror and watched the last of them fall off as I was blinking. I sent an email and spoke with Lisa over the phone to discuss getting a refund. It was a bit difficult because she blamed it on the stylist who did my lashes and said it was because she's new and doesn't have as much experience, and then offered me to get them redone by the same stylist without charge. Ummm... no. Not wasting my time on that again. She then told me she would do it herself and it would be better because she knows what she's doing. I told her no because my natural lashes were falling out with the extensions too and I didn't feel comfortable getting them done again so soon. In the end, she didn't want to give me a full refund because of the time that was spent putting them on me and that the lashes themselves are expensive. First of all, it was a complete waste of MY time as well. If it was done right, and done well I wouldn't have asked for my money back. Second of all, I know they're expensive because I had to spend my money on them and they lasted less than 3 full days. Overall pretty disappointing experience. She ended up not giving me a full refund but I took what I could get because there's no way I wanted to lose the full amount I spent on nothing. 10/10 would not recommend. 10/10 waste of my time and money. read more

iLash Studio - Appt Thursday @ 12:30, all my lashes gone by Sunday @ 8:37pm. So sad & disappointed. - Eyelash Service Near Me - San Mateo, California

I have been to Lisa 3 times now & I can honestly say she is amazing at her eyelash extension artistry!! Lisa is easy to speak to, professional, light with her hands, fast, meticulous & very trust worthy which is important with your delicate eye area. I have had eyelash extensions done by 2 other people before seeing Lisa & I can definitely see/feel/tell the difference in her products & technique! Lisa's lashes are really light weight & the glue is not irritating (I have super sensitive skin) - I was apprehensive when showering after my lashes due to prior experiences with my eyes stinging so I was pleasantly surprised that there was no stinging - yay!! Lisa is really knowledgable in her line of work & will also tell you how to care for your lashes with instructions & a brush when you 1st see her all to take home. The ilash studio is in a salon but is a private room upstairs that's peaceful, clean & quiet. There is a sitting area down the hall so you can feel totally at ease with your privacy & eyelash pampering. I love Lisa & am addicted to her eyelash extensions & would definitely highly recommend her! Other bonuses with Lisa are she is punctual with your appointment time, she uses a nice soothing gel patch for your under eye area & you can feel relaxed enough to doze off during your appointment! read more

Lisa is awesome! After having some questionable work done by a famous business on 25th ave. in SM I got online and searched for something better and safer for my lashes. That's when I found Lisa at Ilash! She does fantastic work and is super friendly. Her schedule is flexible and her rates are fair. read more

Lisa is amazing. Such a perfectionist. She really cares about how the clients' eyelashes turn out. I have been going to her (and Yen) for about two months and love the results. The entire process is comfortable and relaxing; I have fallen asleep several times there. The lashes last a long time and are actually far more durable than I had expected as long as I follow the simple care routine. And they look great! read more

Beautiful lashes time and time again! Lisa pays close attention to the little details and definitely has an eye for her craft. Her studio is very relaxing and welcoming, which makes the entire experience wonderful. She and her staff are personable, professional, and genuinely care about their clientele. There are many lash artists out there, but Lisa and Thuy are definitely my go-to gals. I'm ALWAYS guaranteed beautiful, lush lashes that last. read more

This review is for Lisa. She is AMAZING!! So sweet and really listens to what you want. Every time I get my lashes done I get so many compliments and women asking me where I get them done. She is the only one who knows exactly how I like my lashes. They are perfect EVERY time. I've gone to other places but honestly, Lisa is the best. :) read more

Lisa always provides such excellent service. I was not born with a full set of lashes and, to be quite honest, i don't have a lot of hair. LOL. My lashes are always a conversation starter with my patients at work and it shaves off so much time in the morning. I just wish they would make the drive from the city to see Lisa in San Mateo because I LOVE the end result and it's definitely worth it. Trust me, I've had my fair share of "shedding" after all, it is hair, and it goes through stages; regardless of what stage my lashes are in, she always makes them look FABULOUS! From volume sets to individual ones, its always customized. One of my eyes are smaller than the other and she does this trick where she makes them look symmetric! C'mon, you can't beat that! Her prices are VERY reasonable for the quality work she does. Please visit her, I have been for a while now and will NEVER cheat on her. Oh, and her online booking system makes scheduling a breeze. read more

I have been going to Lisa for over a year now. She is professional and does a great job. Her work is high quality, and my lashes always look perfect when I leave her studio. I don't know why it's taken me so long to write a review for Lisa - I think it's because I'm just too busy enjoying my lashes right after she does them! From the beginning, Lisa has been so sweet, accommodating and skilled whenever I come in to see her. I'm so grateful! If you are lucky enough to get on her calendar, I'm sure you won't be disappointed and are guaranteed to become a fan of her and her work - just like me! read more

I've been going to Lisa for two years now and I can't express what an amazing job she does every single time. She's professional and listens to what you wants. The lashes themselves last for 2-3 weeks and are better quality the other locations that I've went to in the past. I always refer her to anyone looking to completely enhance their lashes read more

I found iLash on Yelp and decided to give it a try for my first time getting lashes. I really wanted something natural looking and Lisa didn't disappoint. She walked me through the process in detail and make sure I knew exactly what was going to happen. Most importantly I was very pleased with how my lashes looked. Will definitely be back! read more

Lisa does wonderful work. I had done a lot of research on different eyelash extension studios before choosing Lisa and she has never disappointed. Lisa has great attention to detail, is patient, and is very accommodating. She makes sure that I am comfortable throughout the appointment and confirms that I am happy with my lashes before I leave. Lisa is so talented. I recently moved from Orange County and was dying to find someone equally as talented and reasonably priced as my technician down south. I was beyond thrilled to find Lisa. Her work is impeccable and natural looking. I have had lashes for 5 years and I can say she does amazing work. She takes her time (but is not slow!), places every lash meticulously and is so nice to talk to. Her prices are appropriate. Would highly recommend this spot! read more

I dont understand what happened to my yelp, but here it goes again. Lisa is wonderful at what she does, shes a true artist. She knows just what lashes to use on your eyes so your lashes dont get damaged and she designs the shape perfect to your eyes. My lashes were so damaged from that place on 25th that i hardley had any, i was so upset considering the fact that my regular ones are thin and light to begin with. I just love lisa, shes sweet and fun and i enjoy my visits with her after a hard days work shes a great listener. Thanks Lisa xo read more

I have been getting lash extensions for many years and have tried out many places both in San Francisco and the peninsula and I give iLash Studio my highest recommendation. I have had many bad experiences with lash extensions. It is very important that the person that you go to is well trained and is able to place each lash extension precisely on one of your own lashes and ensure that there is no clumping with other lashes. I find that all of the technicians at iLash do a great job. They will take the time to understand your lashes and make recommendations based on what is best for you and what look you would like. The other thing that is important to me is that the service doesn't take too long. I wouldn't trade off quality for speed with lashes, but iLash offers skilled technicians so that you can get both. Also, it is actually quite relaxing and enjoyable to get your lashes done here. Everyone is very nice and they make you very comfortable. After each appointment my lashes look great and I am also quite relaxed and rested! read more
