We came here on a Sunday afternoon after checking out the Walt Disney Family Museum. First of all, the seating here is outdoor and since it was a windy day with plenty of fog, just keep that in mind that you'll be cold while eating. You order at the counter and then they give you a cute SF postcard with a number to call out. Listen for your number so you can pick up your order. This place has been on my list to try and I'm so glad I did! The focaccia pizzas were what everybody was recommending from word-of-mouth and also videos that I've seen on social media. Unfortunately, I think it fell short of expectations. The portion size and the toppings were generous. The focaccia should've been heated up, but it was cold when we got it. We used it to sop up the pasta sauce from the spicy vodka pasta. The spicy vodka pasta was delicious. It had a kick to it. The amount of cheese and parsley on top was perfect. I would definitely recommend this. It paired well with the farro salad, which was fresh and had a great blend of feta and cranberry to give a sweet and salty mix. The Chicken Milanese panini was surprising. The chicken was breaded and seasoned well. If you like chicken, then you'll like this sandwich. The Lasagna de verdure was heated perfectly. The cheese was melted in a way that added a crunch and flavor that was so yummy. Each bite was enjoyed and a great way to get your veggies in for the day. The prices here are pricey, but considering the location, it makes sense. The portion sizes are the kind that can be finished rather than taking a lot home. I would love to come here again when the day is warmer. It's a great place for groups with plenty of outdoor seating. There were some people who ended up picnicking instead. read more

This is one of the more difficult places for me to review. Truth be told, if you put REALLY REALLY HIGH value on the view, the high prices for a mediocre product are justified. But considering the trash on the ground and the filthy glass wind breaks, the place can definitely be characterized as a rip-off unless you a wealthy local, used to inflated SF/Cal prices, and this is your most conveniently located neighborhood coffee shop. Food is mediocre but at least there is variety (pizza, sandwiches, salads) as is also the case with drink selection (coffee drinks, beer, wine, sodas, etc). The main problem is that because of the location, this is a one of those places that doesn't have to try hard or lower prices to stay busy. They are really the only option within a 15-minute walk of the Presidio Tunnel Tops. Next closest is Piccino at the Letterman Digital Arts Center but it is a sit-down restaurant about a 15 minute walk. Best deal at Il Parco in my opinion is the canned beer. Actually now that I think about it, there is another option. If you walk 5 or so minutes Southwest from the Tunnel Tops area where there is an expansive grass lawn area you can find one or more food trucks. The better option would be to get food there and eat on the lawn or on the picnic benches in the Tunnel Tops. read more

We took the Blazing Saddles e-bike tour and one of the stops was here. Went on to grab a snack and was so impressed by the menu items. The Italian sandwiches looked so good so will have to reopen another time to try those. Just picked up a banana bread instead this time. Casual takeout spot by the presidio tunnel top park area. There is a counter with food items like square pizza slices, sandwiches and more. It feels a bit like a grocery store inside and some tables to sit outside. I got four slices of pizza to share with my friend which came out to around $55. Pretty pricy indeed. I tried the pizza bolognese, upside down pizza, pepperoni, and mushroom. It was warmed up but not crispy. I felt like everything was a bit too salty and greasy for my liking. The crust of all the slices were very bready and thick. My friend thought the bolognese was the best one, while I preferred the upside down. They were very filling and I was full by 3/4 of a slice. Still a nice option here and nice to eat it on the lawn or benches for a picnic read more

Stopped by for a casual quick lunch. I wasn't feeling very hungry so just got a caesar chicken salad from their grab-and-go fridge area. For $12, not a bad pre-made salad. While I wouldn't say the food is great, it works if you don't have other options. I will say that after looking at their sandwiches and focaccia pizza, I opted for a salad as the bread frankly doesn't good that appetizing. There are better spots to grab food and food trucks around during the day so I wouldn't recommend coming here if you are able to go elsewhere. read more

I had already read the reviews for this spot, so I kind of knew not to expect a lot. Ordering is a bit chaotic with several people trying to help you and not everyone getting your order right As mentioned in other reviews, the prices seem too high for what you get. My grandkids found the pizza ok, however I had the Caprese Piadini and was disappointed. The tomatoes were not ripe, and the dough was ultra thin. I was not able to finish it. The lavender latte was decent. The location and the outdoor seating is the highlight. I'd say if you' have children spending time at the Presidio top tunnels this is the most convenient place to eat. read more

Perfectly neutral. This place is on top of the tunnel top parks and it gets really busy. There's a good amount of selection but the place is quite expensive for what it is. $15 for a slice of focaccia pepperoni pizza, $6 for a vanilla soft serve and $12 for a spritz. Since yesterday was such a beautiful day, we decided last minute to head over to the Presidio Tunnel Tops and enjoy the sunshine. While we were there, we grabbed drinks and a pizza from this spot, and honestly, you can't beat the convenience. It's right there when you need it, especially for a spontaneous park day. Yes, the prices are a bit steep, but considering the location and convenience, it's understandable. You're paying for the ease and the setting. We ordered the Capicollo Ricotta Pizza, which features savory cured meat, creamy ricotta, and fresh garlic on their signature focaccia-style crust. It was flavorful and satisfying. My daughter absolutely loved it.she had creamy ricotta all over her face, which is always a good sign! The crust had that soft, fluffy focaccia texture that makes it feel a little more special than your average slice. For drinks, we got a canned beer and their Ginger Shrub, a homemade probiotic made with ginger and sparkling water. The Ginger Shrub was just okay for me. Refreshing, but not something I'd necessarily order again. Overall, it's a great, convenient stop when you're spending the day at Tunnel Tops and want something easy without leaving the area. I enjoy coming to the Presidio for some fresh air without leaving the city, and this place is a nice spot to relax at, get your coffee and snacks, and then take a few steps out to enjoy the scenic views. The location is super convenient, with a parking lot right out front, plenty of outdoor tables, a public restroom just to the left, and a central spot in the heart of the Presidio. Prices are on the higher side, but that's understandable given the convenience. It's perfect if you want to enjoy a quick picnic or grab something without having to leave the area.
