Im just going to put it out there. Our first time trying Il Capo. Its a Friday night and its packed. We come to sign to seat yourself. NOT a good plan for Fri & Sat. We almost got into a "misunderstanding with one couple". And my husband actually had to sit at a table so we were seated next. The food is Excellent but the seat yourself on Fri & Sat night when they are packed wont work. Please take my suggestion take & call names or give out buzzers. A waiter was trying to seat a man and his daughter in front of us. We had been patiently waiting our turn and were 100% next. Luckily the guy the waiter was attempting to sit in front of us. So NO they were here long before us. We started with their fondue app with pancetta and crusty olive oil crusty bread pieces. It was so Good! I wish I had ordered the large. The fondue came in a cute pot with a flame under it. Our meal was a large meatball pizza. Nice size pieces of meatball. Nice thin crust coal fired yet Not burnt. Looking forward to going back!

Pizza was outstanding. The BEST pizza in the area by far! We ordered the crispy calamari, which was plentiful & fresh, hot chili wings, all delicious. We ordered margarita pizza, fresh tomato & hot honey pizza. Each was made with a thin crust & perfectly crispy. The ambience of the place is simply adorable & inviting. Staff is friendly & attentive. We will definitely will be back....just excellent as we are pizza connoisseurs.

David, our friendly, knowledgeable host and waiter, made suggestions and we each ordered a salad and the Rigatoni Bolognese. The portions were perfect, not outrageously large, but enough to bring some home for another meal. The Spinach Salad with Pancetta, Candied Walnuts, Gorgonzola, Onion, Craisins, and Lemon-Shallot Dressing was crisp, fresh, and delectable. The bolognese was absolutely delicious and as good as any bolognese offered at an Italian eatery in Boston's North End. Nice selection of drinks. Waitress was very nice and patient. Gave us lots of time to decide. She brought some bread with oil which was good. We started with fried calamari. Delicious! Next time I would ask for lemon. I ordered the chicken franchise and my husband chose the chicken Milanese. We each enjoyed our entrees. We couldn't finish so brought home the leftovers. We arrived around 6pm, to a fairly empty dining room. When we left, the room had filled out more. Can easily see this place be hopping on the weekend. Waitress was really nice! Recommend Bottega to everyone. We will definitely be back.

There's a dining room and bar area which also has seating. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was great. The dining room looks like an upscale fancy restaurant. You are started off with fresh baked bread from the wood stove. We ordered the Bianca Pizza and Naples Street Food Basket as appetizers. I love potatoe croquettes and this definitely did not disappoint. The Bianca Pizza is made with fresh ricotta which makes a huge difference. Check it the cheese pull posted in one of the pics. I ordered Bolognese over rigatoni. It was delicious and meaty. Luckily there was a little extra sauce and a piece of bread left. Do the math. Overall great experience. We were served some water and bread. We noticed there were only two servers for about 30-40 tables. When we finally flagged down a waiter 40 minutes after we sat down, we ordered our drinks and also asked if we could order our apps and dinner at the same time since we were so hungry and didn't know the next time we'd see him. He took our order (no hello, no sorry for the wait, no chat at all) and came back about 15 minutes later with my husbands drink and not mine. He told me to "hang on". Never came back. My husband ended up going to the bar and buying my wine from there. He never came back to the table. Never checked on us, never brought a drink, never asked if we wanted to order another drink or dessert, never another visit until her dropped the check on the table without a word. The service was so bad we were actually laughing. Oh, and they charged us for the wine they never brought but we just paid the bill and left because we just wanted to get out at that point. The food was okay but we will never be back. We have never experienced such bad service anywhere.

He wholeheartedly recommended Bora Restaurant. I followed his advice and was not disappointed! Do not judge the book by its cover. It looks plain and unassuming on the outside and took me a few seconds to spot it. (No pic, as I was distracted by my new car!) The inside was nicely appointed. Perhaps too many fake flowers, but maybe not. They seemed to work and add color. I went at 4 pm on a Saturday, so between lunch and dinner. There were people, but no crowds or noise. All I wanted was a good burger. And I got it! I ordered the House Burger: (6 oz?) Marbled Wagyu Beef, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon, Red Onion, Toasted Brioche, and Special Burger Sauce on the side. (Truthfully, I included all that for your benefit. I only wanted the burger, bacon, and bun with ketchup on the side.) It was delicious! I did manage to snap a pic before I descended upon it like a ravenous Serengeti carnivore... with a modicum of decorum so as not to scare the other guests. The service was fast and friendly and the prices reasonable. This is the sort of place I would like to return to in order to try some of their finer dishes!

It…read morewas founded as a joint venture between Diamond Hospitality Group and Village Social Restaurant Group. The focus of Vans' menu is their signature bar-style pizzas. In addition to the pies, the menu also offers smash burgers, sandwiches, wings, salads, and other classic pub fare. The bar area features numerous flat-screen TVs for sports game viewing as well as a selection of draught & bottled beer, wine, craft cocktails, and fountain beverages. At 2,000-square-feet, Vans offers a large variety of arcade games (both classic and modern) and even an area to redeem tickets for prizes. At Vans, the goal is to provide a fun and casual dining experience that complements the vibrant atmosphere, making it a perfect destination for both foodies and sports enthusiasts I recently visited Vans for dinner with my two sons while we were passing through Danbury. We were all excited for the combo of bar-style pizza with arcade games. Upon arriving, we asked to be seated at a booth. There are plenty of seating options inside as well as an outdoor seating area with deck chairs and fire pits. My older son and I ordered and shared the "Margherita" (fresh melted mozzarella and basil) and a "Pepperoni Pizza", while my younger son had the "Chicken Tenders" (w/ Fries). The pizzas are 11" personal sized-pies and very thin with a nice crunch. These are pretty typical for bar-style pizzas, and they were quite tasty too. To drink, I had a draught pour of New England Brewing's "Sea Hag IPA". After finishing up our meal, we all headed to the arcade area. Vans has an extensive selection of both retro arcade cabinets as well as modern arcade attractions. Both of my sons prefer arcade racing games, and Vans had plenty of those; "Mario Kart" is a personal favorite. We ended up staying for almost two hours and we all had a blast! We look forward to returning on our next trip to Danbury!

Vans reached out to Doordash not wanting their food quality to be in question to find out what happened. As they should advocate for what is right. Doordash told me they waited for my food. But Vans found out that several drivers with Doordash where assigned to my order before someone came to pick it up. This was the reason my food originally arrived cold. My food arriving cold was No Fault of Vans. My order was soft baked pretzel sticks with a dipping sauce and two pizzas that were personal size possibly a little bigger. Both pizza's were traditional crusts - one meatball and onion. One a Bianca pizza. My favorite part of the meal was those pretzel sticks. Good size more towards big, just enough salt, nice and soft on the inside. My husband is a lifelong New Haven pizza eater and he did like the thin crusts on these pizzas. However, we are going to try again at the restaurant with the pizza. As You see in so many of my reviews over the years. I always give a restaurant a second try at their establishment as takeout is a hard thing to get spot on. **Give Vans a try at their restaurant and play some video games. I will be doing the same soon.
