i've heard about this place plenty of times all over my social media. I finally tried it and all i'm saying is IM GOING BACK. everything was spot on delicious. I had the oxtails with mac and cheese with a side of fries and the fruity pebbles waffles. Everything had some much flavor, i just wanted more and more. the oxtail were beyond tender. The meat would slide off the bone and it was really juice. I had the fruity punch mixed with lemonade and drink and it was PERFECT. super refreshing especially in this miami heat. I'm beyond happy with this location and their food. I have tried ikrave on three different occasions (twice for lunch and once for breakfast) and each time the food was really good. I had the fried shrimp, collard greens, and Mac and Cheese for lunch and it was delicious. I also tried the shrimp and grits and cinnamon waffle for breakfast which was also really good as well. The only reason why I am giving the restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 is because of portion size ( I paid $10 and my shrimp meal only came with 5 shrimp; they were decent sized shrimp though) and the parking is pretty limited ( we had to drive around for a bit to find a space). Nice place for a quick bite to eat. The staff was very pleasant and the service was quick. Also love the atmosphere and the fact that the owner/manager (?) comes out to make sure everything is ok. I can tell they really want to make your experience here a pleasant one and welcome feedback. I wish they had more of a selection so i wouldn't feel as guilty eating the Chicken and Waffles. Not a big waffle/pancake fan....or sweets for that matter but i did enjoy mine. I also had the Chicken Strips and Mac & Cheese. The CS was ok and the Mac & Cheese was delicious. They also have "special meals" that they advertise on the day they're actually making it which is a bummer. Also breakfast is only served on Sat and Sun.....another slight let down. I heard about this place at a party. I drove from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami to try it during this Covid 19 mess. I ordered Chicken & Waffles. They were a little backed up so the young lady gave me 2 cupcakes for my wait, which I didn't complain about or mind because I was sitting in my car. The chicken had a really good flavor it was cooked to hard almost burnt. The waffle was not the best. It had a weird after taste. It wasnt very sweet. Parking was easy to find, the outside is kind of sketchy but once you get inside it's very chill and closed off. The FOOD was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I wasn't disappointed at all the food came out in about 10 minutes it was HOT AND READY to be ate. The waffles were crispy but not too much the chicken was seasoned right. I also got mac and cheese with fries, they gave you a good amount of fries enough for 2 people. The Mac and cheese wasn't too cheesy could use a little kick but still really yummy. I found this place simply by driving past on my way to the cruise ship, and might I say the food, staff, ambiance, and vibe, were spectacular! I ordered the "Promise Pebble" exotic waffle with Fruity Pebbles, vanilla glaze, and power sugar on top, along with some turkey bacon, grits and eggs over medium... Everything was perfect! Today I experienced the worst experience ever. My food was ordered online and and I received a notification that my order was ready for pickup. Upon arrival, I noticed that only three of the five plates were actually ready. So, the server informed the kitchen staff that they were short on the pancake orders. So after a 20 minute wait for the missing orders, the kitchen produces only 1 of the missing pancake plates. So, once again, I informed the counter that we were still short of one pancake plate. Now I have wait an additional 20 minutes as they prepare the final pancake order. Now, let's be mindful of the fact that the first three plates are just sitting there while I wait an additional 40 minutes for my order to be completed. But, get this tho, when I returned home and opened up my plates, why were the eggs missing from all three of my pancake orders? At this point, I feel like I was totally inconvenienced and overcharged for what I did receive. read more

I've heard about this place before and finally decided to give it a try for a late lunch. There were so many different menu options that it took me forever to decide on what I wanted to order. After quite the deliberation, I ordered the shrimp and grits and an order of the red velvet waffle. Service was quick and efficient and my food was ready in about 15-20 minutes. The highlight of the meal was the shrimp and grits and while they were not the best shrimp and grits I have ever eaten, it was tasty, flavorful and filling. I was not a fan of the waffle and found it to be too dry. I am not sure if it was because of the "red velvet", but I would not order that waffle again. The other waffles looked good though!
