Went to IKEA to return a set of kid's chair and table that I bought few months back. I was able to prepare the return barcode from the IKEA app. Upon arriving at the store, I checked-in at the kiosk and got called within a minute. The associate scanned the barcode and refunded the amount in the original form of payment. Was such an easy process. Love IKEA's 365 days return policy. After the return, I went to the online pick up booth to get the new table and chair I ordered via the app. The associate brought my packages within a minute. This was my first time using IKEA's online pick up feature and it was a breeze. I'd be definitely using it more often now. I also went for a walk in the marketplace. They had some new inventory. I saw new boxes in the storage section, bought one medium size box that had a decent cheap price.

It's a BIG place to walk around. The display floor is always very nice to look at. People are welcome to sit, lie down, touch etc. Selections of beds, desks, chairs and things that you don't even think of. They have basic stuff with basic price. They also have bigger/better design for higher price.

So the last time I have visited this store was probably in late 2009 to 2010, around those years, and I didn't leave a review at the time, but leaving a review now, this is a good furniture store but it's not my favorite, cause it's like a maze and it gets confusing if you don't know your way around it, they have a decent selection of cool furniture though, and they also have a food court as well, but overall, it's an okay furniture store IMO..

What a disaster! We are at click and collect which is useless. We are watching the employee wander aimlessly searching for our item we bought and paid for last week. What a disorganized disaster. This is our first and LAST trip here what a joke... still waiting watching this idiot wander around in circles looking at boxes and carts.

I've stopped at the Paramus location a couple of times at this point. It's feels smaller/more contained than the Elizabeth location. The showrooms are nice. I mostly short cut it to the marketplace to grab what I need, then do self-checkout. If you are doing that, the Paramus store is easy! Doing online shopping and pickup at this store is another story - it's a crap shoot. Some days, it works like clockwork where the process goes as it should. Once you arrive, you check in with your phone and you're alerted as to when to head over to the online order pick-up area. So streamlined. On other days, you are one of many standing there, waiting for over an hour after getting conflicting alerts on your phone and hoping a disgruntled customer doesn't pop off at any moment. But other than that, the Paramus store is A-OK.

First time in an IKEA store, and it did not disappoint. Went on a Friday in November arriving at 1:15. Parking was easy. The store was not crowded which made for a most enjoyable experience. We traveled 2 1/2 hours to get to store. Wish there was one closer. First stop was lunch in the cafeteria for the famous Swedish meatballs. Choices included chicken, salmon, and the meatballs -- vegetarian and regular. Sides could be changed up. Prices were low. We ate in an attractive space bathed in natural light. Indeed, the meatballs did not disappoint. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade. The lingonberry relish was delicious. We brought a cooler to take home a few bags of meatballs. I also bought a jar of the relish. After lunch, we explored the huge main floor that housed dozens of well thought out DISPLAYS of furniture, furnishings and accessories available. Plus many more items. At one point, we saw a team of designers expertly adjusting a display. There was no doubt that the store is 300,000 square feet! Elevators, escalators, and stairs were available. Over 7,000 steps this afternoon. The store is clean and well lit. Arrows on the floor served as directional guides as well as the many signs throughout the store. Well placed large restrooms were spotless. Next, we went to the marketplace floor to pick out items to buy. There were two types of shiny carts and large yellow bags for gathering purchases. Pencils and paper were also available to jot down info. Prices were excellent! Selection was amazing! Found several items I needed and several more that I knew I wanted after seeing them. There were huge stuffed animals for $16.99. There were sofas and chairs. There were pans and dishes. There were loads of pillows and pillow covers. Plus much more... Famous for their kitchens, the displays of kitchen cabinets, stoves etc. were incredible. The cabinets come in many colors including blue and green. There were many attractive storage pieces including bookcases and cabinets to solve storage needs and display possessions at affordable prices. Then, we went to the checkout floor where there was a marketplace. The chocolates with a crunchy filling were better than a Heath bar. The chocolate was better quality. Check out was efficient as expected. After checking out, there is a food cafe with tables that had many tempting items including ice cream cones, specialty coffees, two large choc chip cookies for $2.00, cinnamon buns, and hot dogs. Something for the road after a fun day of shopping!

I love the Ikea cafe. When I was studying for my insurance certificate, we used the cafe tables to drink coffee/tea and eat veggie meatballs for sustenance. When you're a member, tea and regular coffee are free and you get discounted food items. You also get a birthday treat, and that's what I was here for. I was craving the strawberry vanilla cake but couldn't find it. Plenty of chocolate cake. I got the veggie meatballs for lunch, a cup of tea, and after talking with the cashier, she helped me find the cake I was looking for. It was worth the hunt! The café is well lit, beautifully decorated with IKEA items, and the Wi-Fi is strong. You can't help but buy something before leaving, but it's cheap and fun to shop here so a shopping & cafe excursion well executed.

Went today to Paramus location and lines were insane. Is there an off time during the week I might make out better?

I would suggest going when Ikea first open in the morning, if you can bring someone to stand in line while you shop, so when your done, you will be ahead in the lines, and not have to wait.

What is the store hours after it reopened?

Is this location open for in person shopping as of today (7/2/20)?

Yes. Be prepared to wait online to get into the store though.

Is there a real telephone number?

The concept is interesting (products from around the world) which is exactly what the name suggests. They sell a mix of food items like snacks, pasta, sauces, and other specialty products, along with home goods, furniture, rugs, and decor. It's not a huge store, so the selection feels more like a broad sampling across many categories rather than a deep selection in any one department. Pricing was the biggest drawback for me. Many items that you'd normally find at a regular grocery or home goods store were priced two to three times higher here. I'd really only recommend buying something if it's truly unique and not easy to find elsewhere. That said, I did notice some holiday items on clearance priced as much as 90% off, which is definitely worth keeping an eye out for -- you might score a great deal if you catch the right clearance section. It's a fun place to browse and see some interesting items, but it ended up being about a ten-minute visit for me.

I found some of my favorite products like British Maltesers, the pocky, Korean chips and Cocacola sodas from Asia. They also had so many other food products like popcorns, bake goods, maple syrups, tea, coffee, almost same as a grocery store. They also have a huge furniture, home goods, and Christmas products (ornaments, cookies, pies, decors) sections. All items are very organized. Though prices are a but higher since all are exported goods. We spent a long time strolling around the store. All the associates were very friendly, helping out customers with products and at the checkout.

The emphasis here is on made in India and China furniture and furnishings -- with a decent selection of kitchenware and gadgets. No clothes, jewelry, shoes or fancy foodstuffs in this iteration of the ever evolving chain of stores owned by TJX. Homesense improves on the chaotic and frenetic merchandising practices of its relatives. In other words -- you will find the aisles logically organized with more limited and better curated selections. If you are looking for that odd off price piece -- like a sofa, chair, table, love seat, carpet or new china, this place is worth a look. As with all the other TJX retail stores, you are buying "off the floor" which means that the stuff has been sat in, handled, returned, jostled about, dinged, etc. -- so inspect carefully before buying -- especially with the higher priced furniture and carpets. Top Tip: Shares a parking lot with Trader Joe's -- which means PACKED on Saturdays. Best shopping experience is early or late -- midweek.

It is now approaching the end of April and I still have not heard anything about them rescheduling the delivery. I have called to follow up multiple times. In addition to this, I also ordered a couch in March. About 2 weeks ago (early April), I realized it will be too large for my space. I called West Elm to cancel the order, as they did not allow me to cancel online. The woman I spoke to told me it would be no more than 3 days to hear whether or not my cancellation request was approved by the manager. Again, I heard nothing. When I called back today, they acted as if they had never heard that I wanted to cancel the order (now far less-likely to be canceled due to being further along in production).
