This is my go-to spot for when I'm craving poke and don't want to go too far. I always get the same salmon poke bowl and order using the online site for a small discount. They are quick, consistent and reliable!

EASILY FIVE STARS! Such a cute and modern ambiance in the building, it felt very cool and elevated. It's brand new too, just installed a few months ago and fits right into the strip mall area. Lovely new addition to shoreline. The service was quick, and is a select along a line of options (like chipotle or Panda Express) then pay at the end, then take your food and sit down. They have poke and sushi burritos, and a few side dishes - the poke was super fresh! My only thing is that the scoops are pretty small, but honestly the ratio with the rest of the unlimited toppings is good. The tuna is fresh and delicious. The salmon delight sushi burrito is also great! The right amount of spice with generous avocado - it was perfect. Will be coming again

Sumo crunch with rice on the outside. Very messy. I'll ask for it to be inverted next time.

Good portions and friendly service. The Sumo Crunch burrito seems to be the only one with the rice on the outside which made it very messy. I will ask for it to be inverted next time.

Liked it! They have combos which is cool, a drink, a side and a burrito. I got the super crunch and added green onion, spicy mayo and poke sauce. Next time I'll try the combo and karage but I wasn't that hungry. Would come back!

Simple and tasty sushi burrito! The restaurant is bright and clean and the staffs are always smiling. Now they are my go-to lunch place. I had only try Dancing Salmon so far, one with spicy mayo and one with eel sauce. I actually ordered the eel sauce by mistake today and was wondering why it was a bit too savory than last time, then I check the order, yeah my bad I clicked the wrong item. It was still good, the eel sauce was flavorful like BBQ sauce with extra umami flavor. If I order with eel sauce again, I'll go for light on sauce so it won't overwhelm the salmon. But if you're more of a savory, barbecued eel lover and tangy person, eel sauce one is good. Spicy mayo with salmon is my top choice for now, with avocado it's creamy and rich, the spicy flavor and cucumbers also bring a perfect balance to the salmon, so it doesn't feel greasy or too heavy. It's a perfect picnic food on a sunny day.

I love this chain and this location doesn't disappoint. Giant, well-made, freshly assembled sushi burritos, We did the build your own sushi burrito (range in between $10-15). Good amount of protein and topping options. They are really filling!

What you see is what you get! Nice clean ambiance on the inside with plenty of seating. They make the food fresh, didn't have to wait very long and you rarely find a place that has Ramune! I had the Dancing Salmon burrito. It was delicious and the crispy onions gave it nice crunch. Try this place if you like sushi in burrito form!

Restaurant close to Home Depot and Costco. Has plenty of parking around the area. Inside the restaurant has a big mural of Space Needle, Downtown and Mt. Rainer. Unique of its own. Upbeat music to set the theme of the restaurant. Salad Bowl with Spicy Tuna and Salmon Poke, all toppings. $19.80. Did not get avocado, snow crab since it costs extra. Great taste with a variety of flavors. Feels refreshing and healthy eating the combo of variety of toppings. Not a lot of meat given compared to other poke restaurants. Don't expect left overs. Overall grade 8.5/10 due to the atmosphere, and the refreshing, variety and flavorful of the bowl. It would be 10/10 if more meat was given more such as other places relative to its price.

This is an unusual concept for Sushi. Sushi Burritos by IJ Sushi Burritos. The first time trying them and I ordered the Seafood burritos. I add lettuce, cucumber and corn. I also wanted the eel sauce. I am not a spicy person and i ask the server if it very spicy and he said it is, so I didn't want it. I did wanted extra eel sauce. The price was under $18. w/ tax. The size is huge for this burrito & I was starving and so I only ate 1/2 of it. First of all, this was pretty good. Worth the money. I need to go there next time and order other options. Very quick and fast service. Less than 5 min, but all depends on what you want to add inside of this burrito.

Yum.!!! I live in the area and I've been watching this slowly come into fruition and Yum!!!! Super Clean, probably one of the cleanest food establishments I've ever been into! FRESH FRESH FRESH!!!!! I got the Fiery Chicken Sushi Burrito and yum!!! Chicken was freshly fried, veggies were super fresh, Rice was rice haha Eel sauce was amazing!!!! I'd definitely recommend getting the chicken as a side versus a burrito.. even though it was delicious I felt like I should have ordered a fish for the burrito because Ive come to the conclusion that chicken sushi is a weird combo. I will definitely be back within a few days and I'm looking forward to trying the seahawk roll with crispy salmon!

Updated review from 2 Months ago…read more.. I've been back roughly 6 times from my previous review of Kona Kitchen. Then it was too many staff, not many customers and it was difficult to get service, that has been improved upon. They are nice and attentive when they see you. Service was normal, the wait staff came around and offered more beverage. This time it was still slow period, so what gives it only 3 stars instead of more? It's the fact that the main door the employee use to go into the kitchen to give their orders to the cooks had cob webs on the top of the door.i mean everyone of them walk through that door hundreds of times throughout the week because I could tell it's been there for some time. Where's the food inspector, should be a concern because if it's there in full view of customers and employees, what else is happening as far as cleanliness at Kona Kitchen. I will be there within two or three days and wonder if the cobweb will still be a fixture there... it's something that is annoying because nobody's done anything about it. Amazing.

Thankfully dine-in is back open again, so we got here on a Saturday morning around 11:20am to indoor seating that was nearly full and a small line that was forming at the front counter. Walls have a bunch of photo frames, and overall place felt very homely. They have a ton of Hawaiian style plates and even burgers and some seafood, though we and most others got the former to eat. I ordered their chicken and pork combo Hawaiian style plate, and my bestie got their chicken katsu Hawaiian style plate. Portions are huge for both plates and both also came with macaroni salad. They give you sooooo much meat no matter what you get. To go in slightly more detail: - Chicken and pork combo: both meats were flavored very well, and a little sweet too though pretty salty without using the rice as a palette cleanser. Chicken had more depth in its flavor; the pork's flavor was a little too much for my liking, and was slightly harder to chew. Both meats had some sauce hat went onto the rice itself. This didn't detract from my overall experience here, though. - Chicken katsu: we both agreed this was our favorite after exchanging pieces of each other's dish. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. Just get here, it's a place you can't pass up when you hit up Georgetown!

I want to mention that the workers were all very kind and I had no problems with service. Even though we ordered at the counter, they checked in at our table multiple times. Unfortunately, the food fell flat. The Mochiko chicken was flavorless and served with a sweet chili sauce that tasted just like the kind I have from the grocery store. I thought Mochiko chicken was supposed to be flavorful on its own, even without a sauce. Also the portion was kinda small for the price. The Kahlua pork bowl had pork, but also what tasted like loco Moco gravy... which was a good gravy, but not what we really wanted on top of Kahlua pork. When we saw that it came with "gravy" for the bowl description on the menu, I was thinking it would taste something more like the pork itself. Also, it was heavy on the rice. Lastly, the guava cake had a nice soft airy texture... but not enough guava flavor. It is huge, but mostly air. We didn't order it to-go, but it came in a to-go container rather than on a plate. I felt it was overpriced at almost $10 per slice. Overall, my experience was just alright. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't need to return.

There were three others dining onsite, but also later overheard phone orders taken followed with brisk takeout pickups. They also have the capacity for catering with product, prices, and serving pan sizes posted on the wall. The Homie ordered the loco moco with overeasy eggs, plus their standard cheeseburger. He was pretty happy with the outcome. Consistent to his previous experience, but also took note of the quality and reasonable cost for the cheeseburger. I opted for the laulau plate which came with the requisite two scoops steamed rice and one scoop mac (Hawaiian style macaroni salad) with a sizeable laulau. I unwrapped the outer ti leaves and cut into the taro leaves (steamed like spinach) to reveal succulent pork and tender butterfish inside. This was great with a little added shoyu. Spot on delicious! The ice water also hit the spot. Perfectly chilled without any aftertaste from a pitcher. None of that tepid water in a stoppered top glass bottle or carafe. Refreshing! It asks what you want for your first side. It asks what you want for your 2nd side. I am guessing you get 2 sides with the rice/burgers. I was not real sure. So I asked for 2 sides of macaroni. It asks for mini or 2.50 for regular. I am thinking they will give you reg. side macaroni for 2.50 more. I go back and ask for mini. I do not need that much macaroni. Very disappointed to open the take out container to find zero rice and one small burger with an egg sitting in gravy and 2 sides of macaroni. They need to make this more clear. You only get 2 burgers and eggs if you add 2.50 (regular size). If you choose mini its not for the size of the sides but way less meat. I believe the photo and wording were very misleading. We also ordered Mochiko Chicken....Macaroni salad and broccoli, also a mini. I had it once before, somewhere else, and loved it. Ordered a Hawaiian Chicken BBQ plate, again mini and 2 sides. Did not like either of them. Hawaiian chicken BBQ was like a chicken thigh flattened with soy sauce maybe...no sweetness etc. They both kind of tasted the same. My 2 adult kids barely ate any of it. This was a real treat for us on a very sad day and it was not what we were expecting.....The macaroni salad was just ok...if I added salt.
