Poke bowl w/ tako, spicy tuna and kimchi cucumber. SO fresh and SO good!
Michael E.

Amazing poke spot located in Kingston! We were extremely surprised by this place with the quantity and freshness of the food! We ordered the spicy tuna and tako (octopus) with kimchi cucumber salad. It was SO good and we will absolutely come back for more!

Regular bowl, spicy ahi tuna mac salad on top of half salad and rice.

After I found this place, no other place can compare. Not quite Hawaii but good enough for all the cravings. The staff here is really nice and gets the food out quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The entrance is small but there is space upstairs to sit down and eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is also a bit tight.

Yummy and simple! This is a great by the pound poke place that does simple bowls as well. I got the garlic salmon with salad and cucumbers. The fish itself was fresh, I liked the sauce it came with as well. The salad was refreshing, came with its own dressing which was nice. The cucumbers were okay! Had a strong powdered gochugaru taste and not super pickley. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have upstairs seating and a few tables outside which was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, super clean, nice, simple, and ono haha[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Post fishing and I had myself a big hunger. I love that they didn't overcomplicate things. Pick two proteins, a side, rice/salad/mix, and move on with your life. Sauces available as well. I had the spicy tuna and spicy salmon with mac salad and cucumber kimchi over half salad/half rice. Generous protein portions of fresh tasty fish. I was stuffed. Fair prices and fast service. I'd eat here again.

This was the best poke I've ever had. I don't think I'll get poke anywhere else. The ladies were so sweet too and let us try each poke, everything was great. Decided the shoyu lime ahi and OG spicy salmon with cucumber kimchi and mac salad on the side. Would love to come back, will try the Edmonds one too, cute little shops! Oh and got the miso soup too which I loved.

Flavorful secret hole-in-the-wall restaurant serving fresh poke. We did the surf and turf over 1/2 greens and 1/2 rice. Friendly service and offered samples for us to try before ordering our lunch. There are a few parking spots outside their restaurant and seating upstairs.

Spicy pokè and shoyu pokè

As a local boy from Kauai, i know what fresh pokè is. i've been to all the spots around kitsap, this is by far da best. Buga brought me back to Ishihara market tasting this killa. will be back for more.

I love poke and when I came across Ono Poke in downtown Kingston, I was more than excited. Run by women and in building owned by women with women run businesses, this place is more than cool. Fresh cubes of ahi prepared multiple ways, even scallops, seaweed salad, lots of different sides, there's something for everyone. The gals behind the counter were funny, helpful, offering tastes and quickly dishing up my take out choices. Other customers were getting poke bowls that looked great, too. Looks like a great thing to grab on the way to the ferry or to take down to the green by Appletree Cove for one of the Kingston concert series. Really tasty option and glad to have them here!

I grew up in Hawaii eating plenty of poke and this is the best poke I've found in the Seattle area so far.

Two tuna, one salmon poke. Seaweed salad and Korean cucumbers over sushi rice.

This place has the best poke. Crazy good! I had eaten at the sister restaurant in Edmonds before. Nice portions of each poke, as seen in photo. I enjoyed a first taste of everything while at the restaurant in Kingston. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice little place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then took the rest home for dinner. Taking a friend there tomorrow upon arrival for lunch!!

My husband and I and came in to eat and from the moment we walked in we were treated so amazingly! The workers are all so friendly and recommended us to have to Big Eye special to get to try everything as it was our first time visiting. It was 100% worth it, all the fish is so fresh! The sides are fresh and delicious! They let us store our stroller behind the counter so we could take our baby upstairs while we ate. 11/10 highly recommend. We will be back to try more of the menu. Best poke ever!

Love Poké! And this is a great place. It looks small but there is a whole upstairs with tables. Bathroom available as well. If you're waiting for the ferry, this is a great spot. Spicy salmon is delicious! I liked the mix of rice and mixed salad that I chose. Definitely doesn't need any more sauce, it's already perfect. Spicy cucumber kimchi is SPICY!! My lips still burning... Their shoyu ahi tuna is very good, we'll seasoned. The only minus is cost. Small bowl is $14 But worth it if you're in the area.

This was at 12:30PM and there was a long line out the door and around the corner, taking almost 30 minutes. I had previously visited on a rainy winter weekday for lunch and there wasn't a line at all. What a difference the day and weather can make! While in line we could see the chefs cutting up ahi fresh right in front. The longer line gave me time to chat with the owner as he was trimming off the skin and other bits. I learned that tuna skin is much tougher than salmon skin so can't be eaten like salmon skin chips. He also said that the trimmed parts can be taken for free if anyone wants them. Apparently they make good crab bait! Medium w/ Rice, Traditional Limu Ahi, Hamachi, Mac Salad ($21.50) - I love the Hamachi poke mix. It's fresh, tender, and buttery fish tossed in a creamy and slightly spicy sauce, filled with little briny pearls and plenty of aromatics giving a super umami bite. The Limu Ahi is very fresh as well - I mean, it's sliced right in front, and there's so much turnover of the food that's it's pretty much guaranteed fresh. The tuna is fresh and tender, but there's noticeably more sinew compared to the hamachi. The Mac Salad is also really good. It's super creamy and the macaroni isn't overcooked so it still has some bite. The rice is unfortunately the weakest item in the bowl. It's a little too dry for my tastes and is only lightly tossed with rice vinegar, giving a tangy flavor. Overall all the poke is fresh, the flavors all meld together into a delightful balanced bite, and the sauces are not overwhelming. Ono Poke definitely serves some great poke! They share parking spots with the rest of the plaza and it's not difficult to find a spot if you're willing to walk just a few extra feet. Went for an oddly timed meal on a Saturday around 4PM and they still had all their poke options. There are about 6-8 tables in the store, but quite a few folks take their meals to go. It's definitely not the cheapest meal option, but the poke is absolutely delicious and the fish is unbelievably fresh I tried the Shoyu Salmon, Spicy Tuna, and the Hamachi; all of them were incredible. The Hamachi is only available on weekends and the fish is so fatty it almost melts in your mouth with the creamy and tangy sauce. The Shoyu Salmon is incredibly succulent and just a classic knocked out of the park with a great balance of fresh, salty, and slightly sweet. I'm normally a tuna hater, but the texture is excellent with a nice bite and great spice level.

We were on the fence on whether or not this would be enough food initially and contemplated ordering more food but I'm glad we did not. The spread of eight different poke bar items -- 3 varieties of ahi and Atlantic salmon, one scallop, and one tako, was more than enough to fill us up. The fish here was all really fresh tasting and properly prepared. There wasn't a single bite that was stringy or tough to chew. I also liked that none of the poke were overly salty. During a recent visit to Hawaii, I found that most of the poke I had there needed to be eaten with rice because they were so over-seasoned. Glad to see that was not the case here! From the bento box, my favorite item was tied between the scallops and one of the salmon pokes topped with an aioli. If you're visiting Bainbridge Island and are looking for a delicious lunch, I would definitely recommend checking out Hi Life.
