This is the combo plate kalua pig and furikake chicken, with a couple bites taken out sorry.
    Derek S.

Great food quality and everything was tasty and nothing overcooked. I got a combo of Kalua Pig and Furikake chicken. Kalua Pig was a perfect standard. I think I've had this saltier and other place which isn't my preference. I like the way they did it and it mixed well with the rice and Mac salad. The furikake chicken was phenomenal. I would come back just for this alone. I did wait a while and so did some before me. It didn't look like the standard though, because the people behind me got their food faster. I noticed while I was eating. Worth the wait though in my opinion. Everything in my picture has rice underneath it, to help you understand the portion sizes.

The folks that serve from the truck are wonderful. The owner Matt is an absolute king of cuisine and also of customer care and service. Congratulations to him and his wife on his baby who was born last night. This little one has now extended his children to four little boys. Matt showed up for just a few minutes to open the food truck today. I caught him just in time to remind him of how good his food is, and to wish him continued success with the food truck and his growing family. I love Sauced Food Truck and think everyone should go out of their way to give it a try!!!

The lumpia is addicting and builds up in flavor. I think my only problem was the rice consistency, it was a bit mushy but the adobo sauce masked it mostly. The service was immaculate, despite being at an extremely busy medieval fair, I did not have to wait that long at all after ordering. As for ambiance, it doesn't really apply since it's a truck but the venue was fun. I do think the price for your lumpia is a bit much. 8 dollars for 3 is steep. All that said I still highly recommend this truck

I ordered the Tijuana Burrito with chicken. It is supposed to come with rice, cilantro, onions, lettuce, cheese and beans. Unfortunately, it was almost all rice and really bland. There was just one bite of chicken, almost none of their homemade beans and some lettuce. Then they did not seem to have any cheese, but did have some sour cream (maybe they ran out of cheese, but should have told people). The burrito was $19 and no excuse to pack it full of rice. This was really disappointing, the food vendors here are usually excellent (my wife was smarter and had a sandwich from Purple and loved it). Perhaps the tacos or Baja Bowl are better.
