The Sprong valley ihop is a great location because of how spacious and clean it is! Food is consistent with other IHOP's Food: I ordered the spinach and mushroom omelet and that is the way to go! It was so filling and delicious! Filled with cheese and veggies and comes with hollandaise sauce! You can also get pancakes or toast or hash browns. I got the blue berry pancakes and it was so good! We also ordered a side of crispy potatoes and those were well seasoned and hot! The strawberry banana pancakes are the signature pancakes and they are very good! Service: really nice servers that are willing to make substitutions! They are quick and attentive Price: not expensive for what you get- about $15-$20 per person

We visited during Veterans Day. I want to get the free breakfast offered for Vets. This restaurant seats about 150. It's not as cramped as other IHOPs in the NYC area. They were very busy. The hostess greeted us as soon as we entered the restaurant. We were seated immediately. Our server is Omari. He was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I had the pancakes platter, my wife had the strawberry cheesecake waffle. Everything was hot and delicious.

Tasted great. Pancakes were soft, egg's fluffy, and hash browns crispy. Carlos the server was attentive to my requests. Staff is diverse in both background and language plus it was a very busy morning. First time entering the Spring Valley location.

Breakfast Anytime Although it was way past morning when we stopped in, I was ready for some breakfast. IHOP delivered. I had their Breakfast Sampler, a dish with a couple of eggs, a couple of strips of bacon, a couple of sausages, a couple of slices of ham, some hash browns, and 3 pancakes. I'm sold whenever I can get pancakes along with my other usual breakfast items. I also found the hash browns particularly good. They offer 4 different types of syrups, they are the pancake place. The food was very good and there was plenty. Service was cheerful but a little slow. I think there was only one server this late at night and we were not the only table. It took a few minutes to greet and seat us when we arrived and the food took a bit over 15 minutes from ordering until it was brought to the table. It was still a good visit, the place large and inviting, music playing in the background. This IHOP is located in the Spring Valley Market Place, part of a long stretch of storefronts. Even still, it has that iconic high pointed roof and signature blue color.

I'm a coffee addict and IHOP coffee is amazing. Unlimited coffee woohoo! All the waiters are super nice and food comes out so quickly. The quesadillas are pretty good. I got an international passport crepe combo and a side of hash browns and a stack of chocolate chip buttermilk pancakes. SO GOOD THE PANCAKES YUMM. If I wasn't already food-coma-ing, I would finish the stack. And the Swedish crepe OMG they are the best thing at IHOP. Onion rings are eh and chicken tenders are eh haha get the sweet stuff at IHOP. If you want guaranteed pancake/crepe happiness, go to IHOP!

Recommend the veggie egg omlette. Less calories and healthy. It's also filling. Good combination of tasty, healthy, and flavorful dish. The location was clean and comfortable and service was good too.

Poor presentation of Tilapia Florentine at IHOP

There are only two iHop restaurants in my area and this one is/was my favorite. Unfortunately my last meal missed the mark. The waitress was distracted and the food was below their normal average. We were a party of three. The bacon was over cooked, one of the chicken tenders was a leftover and the Tilapia Florentine was brought out looking like someone dropped it. A hot mess!

They didn't complain while they were there, but I reached out to the restaurant the following day via email to share what had happened. I was extremely impressed with the response from the restaurant manager, Joseph Verrengia. He contacted me personally, listened to my concerns, and explained that his team took ownership of what happened. What impressed me most was that Joseph didn't just apologize--he explained the specific steps he had taken with his staff to help ensure other guests have a better experience going forward. I know that things don't always go perfectly at a restaurant, but how management responds when there is a problem says a lot. Joseph handled the situation professionally and with excellent customer service. His follow-up completely changed our impression of the experience. My son and his friends returned last night and enjoyed Pizookies!

Walked in and plopped myself down at the bar (there doesn't appear to be any alcohol but I'm not positive) and was promptly greeted. The only other patrons were a couple. Ordered steak fajitas and a Diet Coke. Soft drink came immediately and after a few minutes I was served some nice hot chips with a mild salsa. My entree arrived shortly after. With not many photos to go by I was expecting traditional vs gringo style, but seeing macaroni salad served with meat, rice, and beans was different. The meat and bell pepper mixture had a gravy with a little bit of a curry flavor. The best and worst part of the meal were the freshly made tortillas. They only gave two and they are on the small side... but were hot, freshly made, and absolutely delicious. When they noticed I'd finished those and still had over half of my food left they offered more, which I heartily accepted, and a minute or two later I was rewarded with another pair. After using up all four of my tortillas up I still had about 1/3 of my meat and rice which I mixed together with some of the beans and just polished off with a fork. Service was great, food tasted good, only suggestion would be to give more than two tortillas with the initial order. If I am back in Nanuet I'd eat here again.

I don't even live in the area, but every time I'm in town, it's the first stop on my list. Kathy's bagels are next level: airy, light, and bursting with flavor. What truly blows me away is how fresh they stay, even if you freeze them and reheat later, they still taste like they just came out of the oven! And if you don't freeze them? No worries, because they don't get stale! My go-to bagels are the plain, jalapeño cheddar, onion, and garlic. but let me put you on to the real star: the French toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese. I know it sounds like a strange combo, but trust me, it's divine. I even gave it a name.. Carri's Strawberry Delight because it deserves that kind of love. I promise you, once you try it, you'll be hooked too! Beyond the incredible bagels, the entire vibe of Kathy's is warm and welcoming. Kathy herself is the sweetest soul genuine, friendly, and always making customers feel like family. The staff is just as amazing: attentive, upbeat, and kind. Plus, they cater to everyone with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, and the shop is filled with beautiful natural light that makes you want to stay a while. My only complaint? I wish Kathy's was in Manhattan so I could go every day! If you haven't been to Kathy's Bagels yet, don't walk RUN! The atmosphere is like a traditional deli with a few tables inside and outside on nice days. Very clean and tidy. Lastly not only are the bagels fresh in store but if you buy them in bulk, wrap them up and freeze them, they reheat beautifully in the oven! 1000% would recommend.

This Asian fusion spot in a nondescript plaza has a large menu with a lot of small plates/street food, baos (with varying fillings), tacos/quesadillas/tostadas, curry, traditional Asian dishes, poutine, burgers, noodles like pad thai and plenty of veg-friendly items. We most enjoyed the chicken empanadas (generous filling, good flavor), cod tacos, and vegetarian spring rolls. The tofu lettuce wrap didn't have a strong flavor even though it seemed to have a lot of sauce. The beef Jerky (a bit tough and chewy) and vegetarian dumplings were okay, but not favorite items. We didn't order any items that were larger portion and it's very easy to rack up the bill with $9-12 small bites. Inside, you could forget that you're in suburbia because this place is pretty trendy. There's artwork and words on the wall and the menu tries to be clever (succeeds in some ways but not necessarily to grammar snobs). There's a 3% surcharge for credit card purchases. There's a Chinese food restaurant and Taimoca coffee place in the plaza as well.
