- Ordered ahead on the app for pick-up; my order was on the pick-up shelf right at the promised time, which I appreciated - Bright, clean space with a few bar stool seats if you want to sit and eat - Since this was an online order, interaction with staff was limited, but everyone I encountered was friendly and welcoming - Unfortunately, the food itself didn't quite hit the mark: the Açaí Bowl with Nutella did not travel well and was mostly melted within about 15 minutes--the Nutella "drizzle" was very thick and clumped together, making it difficult to enjoy; the Jalapeño Corn side was chewy and watery, with very little flavor beyond heat - Portions also felt smaller than what's advertised, which added to the disappointment

We went to Tropical Smoothie Cafe yesterday afternoon to order and bring home. I ordered Buffalo Chicken wrap, no sauces in it, and wanted it to be on the side.My extra side was the baked lays chips. My smoothie was an Island Punch smoothie, no Turbinado (an extra sweetner). When we got home, my Buffalo Chicken wrap had the ranch in it. The sauces on the side, it was less than halfway, I was very surprised it was given to me this way, which will barely enough in the containers. I would have preferred a dry wrap and added the sauces in when I wanted. My husband ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwich. When he ordered, the cashier kept saying Chicken Bacon ranch, he corrected her and then moved forward. The cashier repeated our entire order, only to find out our food was this way. He was stuck with the order with chicken instead of wanting Turkey. I understand Tropical Smoothie café recently opened in Hackensack. I am excited this move is finally here. We saw that the employees were working hard to assure speed and accuracy. However, my recommendations are that if an order is repeated for accuracy, the food should be followed with directions, too. Staff was friendly, all payments are accepted, and big parking is shared within the shopping center. The area was clean, and everything was organized well to find out where to pick up orders. I will return when things take some time. I know it's going to work out well. Best wishes on the grand opening in Hackensack.

This drink was definitely refreshing on a hot summer day like today, my favorite by far is the slimey Limey Smoothie!!

Smoothies are not full.

I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe and was so excited that one was coming to the area. But recently the orders have not been correct for example, adding chicken to non chicken orders. Today, ordered 2 smoothies and neither are full. Just disappointing. Don't think we'll be going back mistake after mistake.

Sweet potatoes were burnt.

The brussel sprouts, cauliflower & butternut squash soup (1st time trying this- ever!) were all delicious starters. Warm, well cooked, and flavorful, I'd definitely order this again. For my main meal I had the grass fed burger with sweet potato chips - it was so delicious! Not heavy at all but satisfying and filling. I also ordered the Bright Eyes refresher and loved it. For dessert, we tried the cookie à la mode but I was not a fan of it, it was just okay in my opinion, not as good as the food itself. Service was incredible. Andrew was friendly, informative and just overall a pleasure to have serve us our meal. He truly took this first experience to the next level with his professionalism and positive vibes. Thanks so much Andrew!

I like eating both inside and also on the outer part if I want a quieter eating experience. Whenever you stop by, come get a cheesecake slice! One of my friends got the Cobb Salad, and it looked fresh and full of flavor definitely a hit. Another ordered the tacos and couldn't stop raving about how good they were. I went with the Skinny Burger and a side salad, and it was cooked perfectlyjuicy but light, exactly what I wanted. The free refills were a nice touch, too, especially since we were chatting for a while. Even with the restaurant packed, our food came out hot and timely, and the service never felt rushed. It's always nice when a place maintains great quality and service on a busy holiday. Overall, a really great experience everyone left happy and full!

It has so much potential. I mean like to come in regularly and all.. too many inconsistencies. Food is delicious. Out of trying 5 meals, 4 were a hit. Steak and Eggs are delicious! Beet juice is refreshing and made to order. Service was spectacular. Now, what grinds my gear is this "fall menu". Clearly stated, drinks can be made hot or cold. Except, thats not true. I order a hot banana latte -- they couldn't make it hot saying, "it tastes different and bad". Ok. So we go through the many with our waitress of ones I cannot order hot, and end up with the carrot cake latte. Tasted nothing near of carrot cake, but was ok for me. It tasted like a latte, and was warm which checked off my box. Strawberry Matcha was really nice also as a warm beverage, however they kept trying to advise me against ordering. Will be back, just not as frequently as I was hoping.

It wasn't until the 17th century that this meal became a more common practice, especially among the wealthy, who would have rich dishes like scrambled eggs alongside coffee and tea in the morning. The Garden State is still known as the diner capital of the world. Located off Essex Street in Hackensack, this establishment is one of the handful of 24-hour diners. With its unique harlequin decor, Chit Chat remains a chic, upscale diner that we frequent often with friends and family. Upon arrival this morning, my partner, his family, and I were greeted by the staff at the host station, and we were able to get a table quickly. The menu was extensive, and we took our time looking but did not feel rushed. Their menu includes a lot of things one may not find on a regular menu. We decided on their brunch menu and ordered Raspberry & Brie Stuffed French Toast, Santorini Benedict, Bro-Nana Cocoa-Nuts Multigrain Pancakes, and Chorizo Hash & Eggs with a choice of a complimentary mimosa, bloody Mary, or Bellini. The food is always fresh and tastes delicious. The portion is healthy and the prices reasonable. The service is consistently fast and friendly. Our server was Ashley. I was honestly surprised that at 2pm on a Sunday there was still a wait for just two people--but that usually says something about a place's popularity. Once seated, the restaurant was clean and well-kept, and our server was attentive throughout the meal. The only hiccup was the coffee--it took a bit longer than expected to arrive, which felt extra noticeable since we were craving a caffeine boost post-race. That said, the Marshmallow World cold brew was worth the wait and hit the spot perfectly. Food-wise, no complaints. I ordered The Goat omelet, which paired really nicely with the cold brew. I especially appreciated that they offer gluten-free bread--always a win when places make that effort, and it didn't feel like an afterthought. Parking is plentiful, which is a big plus for this area. Just a heads up: depending on traffic, getting on and off Route 4 can be a little tricky. The only downside? They close at 3pm, so our post-run brunch felt a little rushed--we definitely would've lingered longer if time allowed . A winning post-5k brunch that makes the early miles totally worth it.
